33 Artillery Brigade soldiers captured a fake soldier identified as Adam Alexander in Bauchi state. The 22-year-old boy from Maiduhguri Borno State, was arrested on Friday, when he was trying to sell a stolen phone Samsung Galaxy Note 5 for N70,000, according to the deputy director of the media, the army, Captain Sunday Akinkunmi.

Captain Akinkunmi added the young man was arrested in the Wunti market wearing a fake camouflage .

Pictured is the lady identified as Monica Onokah who was involved in a fatal accident which happened yesterday at Mile 2 bus stop by Festac town in Lagos. A container truck fell on the said lady and crushed her legs in the process as she was about boarding a bike on the road. According to reports, the bike man managed to escape but the lady tripped while trying to run, and the container fell on her legs.

People came to her rescue and when they couldn't figure out how to take the very heavy container off her, they decided to cut off her legs with a cutlass. The lady died as she was being rushed to the hospital.

The 2016 World Power Lifting Championship-(WPF) ongoing in the United Kingdom has produced another world record titan from the South East Nigeria, Mr Prince Kennedy, an indigene of Imo state. "Mr Universe" was reported to have clinched three GOLD medals in 90 kg body class with two coming from World record in the competition.

The highly elated Prince took to his Facebook page and wrote; "TODAY I AM THE WORLD RECORD HOLDER IN THE WPF WORLD IN 90KG BODY CLASS,TO GOD BE GLORY."

Confirming the report to the Electronic Media Crew, Imo Government house in the early hours of the day,he said;

"I am very happy for this outstanding win,I trained passionately for it and God made it possible...ooohhh...I am so happy...I dedicate the three gold medals to my Governor, Owelle Dr Rochas Okorocha for all he has been doing for Imo people...infact, this is my own way of saying.. Owelle thank you...he concluded.

President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived Ondo state to show his support for the APC governorship candidate, Rotimi Akeredolu SAN, ahead of the forthcoming Ondo polls. President Buhari and the leadership of the party reportedly arrived the state capital by 10am.

He was welcomed at the Akure airport by the state governor; Dr Olusegun Mimiko, minister Kayode Fayemi, Umaru Al-Makura of Nasarawa state and other dignitaries.

No fewer that 25 state governors of the party, Federal Executive Council, FEC members, national assembly members, ministers and other party chieftains are in the state for the rally slated for the Democracy Park in Akure.

Vice President Prof Yemi Osinbajo is also expected to grace the ceremony.
