Seminarian Crushed To Death Days Before His Ordination In Anambra.

A seminarian was crushed to death by a truck following a tragic accident along Nkpor Umuoji road in Idemili North local government area of Anambra state last week. According to reports, he was supposed to be ordained this month but met his untimely end. May his soul rest in peace.

A woman gave birth to a set of twins (all boys) at Pompomari IDP camp, Damaturu, Yobe state -during a visit by the senate Adhoc committee on North East Humanitarian Crisis (NEHC) last week . It was a glamorous and joyous sight to behold as eighty couples tied the knot in style at St. Sylvester Catholic Church, New Nyanya in Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State. The couples were given the sacrament of matrimony by the Catholic Bishop of Lafia Diocese, Most Reverend Dr. Mathew Ishaya Audu. A young man was seriously injured following a violent clash between two notorious gangs popularly called 'Yan-daba' in a community in Jos, the Plateau State capital. The man whose hand was chopped off was pictured being rushed to a hospital by his firends after the incident.

Yan-daba are a criminal gang known to use dangerous weapons such as daggers to intimidate members of their communities.
