There is an ongoing protest by Gbaramatu women who are agitating over the military invasion in Oporoza community in Delta state. According to reports, the growing unease in Gbaramatu kingdom, the home base of ex-militant leader, Government Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo -has caused traditional rulers and some residents to flee the region to avoid getting caught up in "any impending clash".

This is not the first time that military men and security operatives have stormed the region in search of the wanted militant leader.

Governor Yahaya Bello who was rumored to be dead few days back, is currently in Germany after making a brief stop in Dubai. The governor took time to negotiate with German experts in order to fast track economic and infrastructural development of Kogi State.

To boost the energy need of the state, the governor visited one of the leading Energy and Power solutions in Europe; FEE and they had beautiful and potentially fruitful negotiation yesterday.

On Agriculture, the Governor was at Hosche and inspected first class mechanised Agricultural equipment and technology.

The governor who said Agriculture can not be developed without technology transfer told the experts that all they would need to partner with his state were on ground.

Two notorious suspects and internet fraudsters that specializes in the use of prominent Eminent persons profile to open up face book page/account with a view to making unsuspecting members of the public believe that they are the real person on the said profile and that way defraud them after presenting stories of contract as a highly placed person.

Suspects in the Facebook scam identified as Richard Onyema, 36 years, residing at No 20 Mbano camp Obigbo, Port-Harcourt Rivers state and Richard Odinaka Amadi, 40 years, residing at Omagwa, Rivers state -have been in the business of creating fake book account of any identified prominent /Eminent persons and use same to lure unsuspecting members of the public into believing that they are the person that they are impersonating and present a contract scenario in which through the process their victims are duped.

It was gathered that suspects had earlier created a face book profile account with the Enugu state Deputy Governor Cecilia Ezeilo and allegedly were using same to dupe unsuspecting members of the public to the tune of 635,000 naira on account of money for an award of contract for desirous job/contract seekers.

The suspects were nabbed on 2/10/16 in Rivers state through intelligence information by the operatives of the Anti Kidnap Unit of the Enugu state police command.Suspects who are now helping the operatives in their investigations are regretting their actions which they have blamed on their continual quest to get rich quick.

They further revealed that what they do is to create a face book account of prominent Government/Eminent persons and pretend to be that person and use same to defraud people by asking them to pay some amount of money for jobs/contracts through a certain bank account that they will provide.
