The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi was warmly welcomed as he arrived Abuja for the Youth Diversity Conference scheduled to hold on May 23 (today) at the NAF Conference Centre in the FCT.

The Emir of Kano, Muhammed Sanusi, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi and the Obi of Onitsha, Igwe Nnaemeka Achebe are among notable dignitaries expected to deliver papers at the conference.

Also expected at the conference is the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Honourable Yakubu Dogara who will deliver the keynote address.

It was a sad day yesterday after a residential building was destroyed following heavy thunderstorms at Agudama-Epie in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, The incident led to a fire outbreak which burnt down a building in a popular estate -causing panic among residents in the area. Although, no life was lost in the incident, properties worth thousands of naira were lost.
