This "specially made" vehicle attracted attention from citizens after it was spotted in a public place in Benue state. According to reports, the moving engine/vehicle was successfully constructed by an engineer known as Igbauke Julius, a Tiv man from Gboko area of the state.

The machine reportedly features 5 gear-system. It also has a radiator at the back and it takes 20 litre-capacity.

It was a black Sunday in Delta state after a driver wrecked havoc while coming from Warri at a high speed towards Warri/Sapele road Okirighwre market direction when he hit a woman with a baby boy wrapped on her back and a little girl who was about crossing from Benin Road axis to the opposite side.

The driver was said to have killed the little boy on the spot and left the mother and her daughter in critically state, the forehead of the little baby was opened with her skull showing.

The vehicle according to witnesses, allegedly hit the victims and continued in motion in high speed hitting the pedestrians path left and right until it ended up at the gate of Agofure Motor Park, where two of the girls who were in the car escaped for their live(s) and the driver was finally caught by angry mob.

The mob, furious with his actions, threw a "local lamp" into the car which started a fire, the driver was beaten to stupor, until he collapsed, but the mob woke him up, he was said to have offered the angry group of men who held him 500k by transfer, and one among of them was already falling for it until the elderly ones amongst them shunned the idea reminding them of innocent blood of the dead boy and the fate of the critically injured woman with her daughter who was currently on admission at the hospital..

So he was instead taken to the police station in a keke by same group of men.

A young girl was publicly disgraced after she was caught stealing by some residents. According to an online user who shared the photos, the teenage girl stole some items before she was nabbed by the owner and some residents. She was tied and paraded round the area even in the presence of children - in a bid to embarrass her as punishment.

A police officer was seen repairing his rifle at a welder's workshop. A social media user who stays in the eastern part of the country - shared the pictures online asking whether there are no proper ways of repairing damaged guns apart from this manner or better still equipping security operatives with better weapons to battle crime.. The shared photos are trending online due to the rarity of the situation.

Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the murder of one Cletus Onyekweli, who was alleged to have been killed on the premises of the Shell Industrial Area office in Rumuamasi area of Rivers State where he was a contract employee for about 14 years.

The deceased, who earned an award for himself for his dedication to work, was found dead in his office in a pool of his own blood, an incident that suggested that the man was murdered.

The deceased until his death was a staff of Alfamead Nigeria Ltd (A Sub- contracting firm with SPDC).

The case was transferred to the State Criminal Intelligence and Investigation Department SCIID for further Investigation. Investigation into the case commenced in earnest with the main focus on the use of Forensic Science.

Consequently, DNA samples, pieces of physical evidence and eye witnesses’ accounts were deployed in tackling this case.

In the course of the Investigation, a total of fifty (50) suspects made up of contract and Security Staff of SPDC were invited for questioning. They were unconditionally released on Bail after recording their statements and obtaining relevant Forensic Exhibits which were later processed and forwarded to the appropriate laboratories for analysis and report.

This effort paid off handsomely when after three Months of submitting the Forensic Exhibits, a match was found belonging to one of the profiles earlier sent, identified as that of Kingsley Nwankor ‘m’ 40yrs, a staff of MB $ C Investment Ltd, a sub-contracting firm with SPDC who was paraded today.

After being confronted with overwhelming evidence, particularly the presence of his DNA at the crime scene coupled with other damning pieces of evidence, he broke down in tears and confessed to have carried out the acts that led to the death of Cletus Onyekwere.

His confession led to the arrest of the second suspect, Joseph Francis ‘m’ 37yrs also a staff of MB $ C Investment who is currently helping in the investigation.

A video footage has emerged showing how Nigerians took to their heels after police operatives stormed a motor spare parts market in Guangzhou area of China. The Nigerians who are said to be staying in the country illegally and have no proper papers - left their goods in the market and fled as the policemen invaded the area in search of them.

This is serious. A Nigerian guy took to Facebook to share pictures of him hustling as a laborer in order to make ends meet. The young man revealed his displeasure with ladies who will "drag" him to Shoprite to spend on them after going through all this sufferings.

After sharing his hustling photos on Facebook, the young man wrote;

So after all this sufferings na im one yeye girl like that is dragging me to a shoprite. Hmmmmmmmmm Aunty if I slap you eeh. Na unripe thunder with block go fall on you there. Guys Hope Am saying your mind?

A cash reward has been offered for information leading to the arrest of a 52-year-old Nigerian man identified as Joseph Omaghomi a.k.a (Jesse Green), based in California. According to the South Bureau Recovery Team, Los Angeles, California, which shared photos of the suspect online, Mr Omaghomi, is wanted on charges of identity theft, felony evading and resisting arrest as his last known locations are said to be in California and Nigeria.

The South Bureau Recovery Team also shared a phone number to call if anyone knows about the whereabouts of the suspect - with a handsome reward waiting that person.
