makano: Hello House, any Conestoga college prospective student here that have successfully paid any fee (be it Deposit fee or full Tuition fee)? Please which payment option is the best Option or rather which payment option did you use in paying ur fees successfully. Anticipating ur replies.. Thanks I used Western Union Student Global Pay, it is less expensive than Flywire based on bank transfer. If you found a way to use Form A, it's the cheapest, in any case, having a dorm account helps. |

sleekysoft: Kindly state what you studied, what you going for, experience and others I believe all you need to do is to twerk a bit on your explanation.
TIPS- please when writing SOO etc stop for once and think like a Canadian visa officer who is going to treat yourself.. you are your greatest critic.. read your SOp to yourself ask yourself if someone gives you this letter from other country as explaination on wanting to come to your country will you buy it.. TO THOSE who think it’s going be an easy ride... dear sirs/mas it won’t .. I started my research work and believe me I had malaria symptoms doing a test run lol.. all the I will work and study( don’t worry all is good that won’t come easy too( speaking from experience).. please also be ready for a cultural shock, change and even weather and could get depressing and boring when you got no family around
To all those who need SoP abeg no vex my laptop never ready or wait sef I can use school own.. kindly mail me for those who need SOP sample thanks..
Big up Austacus, naijaforeigner, ibbond, josejonn, and also Frankrobben.. I lowkey miss 9ja food sha.. ain’t no joy in paying 20$( 6000N) to make vegetable with no dried fish lmao

Whynotme: Did the person apply online. Cos sometimes people confuse biometrics correspondence with biometrics request letter. My 2 cents. If not, then its a confirmation that anything can happen. Paper application |

Someone I know applied in early May, got his biometrics correspondence same May, Eligibility review started this June, after few days, he got a medical request. For those in similar situations, keep faith.
Anyone like me here on his or her second app, 21 May submission, background check started 22 May and no update again since then? |

pittoilet: Hello house, please I need your suggestion on this, I have applied for study permit and done biometrics (23rd May) , I haven't done medical. I keep tracking my application on vfs site but it says no record found.
I paid acceptance fee of $1500 to my school through my gt card and now I have to complete the balance of about $7k and I cannot pay it with my card again due to limit placed on the card. I am now opting to use the form A but there is no bank transfer payment option for the school. Only flywire and western union.
Please someone should suggest how I can make the payment from experience. I need to make payment by Monday.
School is Conestoga Could you confirm something before making the payment ? Login to your student portal account, the deadline for payment there is probably different from what is on your acceptance letter. |

dedecoder: Approval Alert!!!
And that is how I finally get to share my own testimony. It's been the Lord's doing and no doubt, marvelously marvelous in my sight
Timeline
Applied December 12 2018 after being refused October 1 last year. Medical Request: February 7 Medicals Done: February 20 Biometric Validity: March 22 Passport Request: Just Now School: Centennial College, Toronto Course: Biotechnology
Reason for first Refusal: Purpose of visit
So, who says college applicants don't get approval? Of course, I have always known that the notion is far from the truth. The difficulty or ease lies on "times and chances" just like with any other application.
Should any college applicant have a query or clarification, I shall be more than willing to supply answer. Congratulations bro, I am so happy for you. Please could you share info on the documents you submitted and what you did different the second time, my situation is very similar to yours. |

FTF2069: I didn't follow the link though, but;
Doesn't creating a new mobile Os invariably creates a need for an apps Ecosystem like Playstore, App store etc.
I suppose it's a tough shot to build an app community to rival the established ones, even Ubuntu's cannonical mobile store had to be shut down, we saw what Happened to Windows mobile, Blackberry etc. Would businesses and Developers be willing to spend on creating new apps for a new Os. It's simple to implement in China if you think of it critically. With an enormous human resources and Chinese Govt tacitly involved in businesses and their policies. All they need to do is Ban Andriod devices, ban IOS and other platforms associated with them and boom, app development becomes a lucrative business in China. Because they have the population, the market is there. Many developers from other countries will find a way to start entering Chinese markets for profits, including translating their apps and making it compatible with the new OS. So China can do it, if they really want to. |
