hmmm, some people seem to think oil money is the be all and end all of existence.

America will take your money and your bribes but it doesnt mean they wont get you when the time is ripe.

and anyone who thinks the west values southerners more than northerners should continue living in lalaland.

if they invade the north, you think that will automatically benefit you somehow? huh

fantasy island
Task force? A muslim president who dreams of declaring sharia will constitute task force. No he will declare Jihad!

AGF said that He can rule from abroad even for up to six months. You think that this dudes are jokers? Only God,only God! He removed Abacha. I know that he has not forgotten us.If no that bomber would have exploded and Nigerians would have been running back to this country for fear of reprisal attack. God will do it again.

The root cause of Nigeria's problem is that we refuse to acknowledge the truth that Nigerians are cowards.Take it or leave it.

@ WilyWily,
dont use such foul & offensive language. NOT ALL MOSLEMS ARE TERRORISTS! i am not one but it's a very unfair statement especially to the ones that condemn the violence. i suggest objectivity in any case.

the clerics should be closely monitored & with that, these outbursts of violence can be nipped in the bud. our security agencies should also be more proactive. the govt should devise means of re-orientating  these jobless youths that perpetrate these evils & lastly, THIS INEPT GOVT SHOULD TACKLE UNEMPLOYMENT!!!
But some are?

The only thing that falls under terrorism from your list is the actions of your fundamentalist & fanatical terrorists, which we all condemn in unequivocal terms.

As I said we must root out this cancer of fundamentalism and intolerance that has taken root in the north.

You are being uncharacteristically hysterical and emotional as well as disingenuous to deny that Mandela was labeled a terrorist by SA, UK and USA.
Mandela was,but his was understandable:apartheid

PoliticsRe: MEND's Press Release On The Bombing Incidence Could Cause More Collateral Damage by ChapelleS: 5:40pm On Dec 29, 2009
Whoever says that MEND is wrong is one of those disgruntled misguided coward Nigerians who wants to suppress the truth about Nigeria. You think the West don't know already that Northern Nigeria is a fertile ground for extremism? They have not taken it seriously because it has not been directed at them. From now on every person with a Muslim name will go thru the eye of a needle getting Western VISA.

All of the above is 100% conjecture. We are better off acknowledging that we are as different as oil and water and dealing with it. The way to deal with it is to consult with Nigerians based on ethnicity and regional alliances. We need treaties on how we agree to exist with one another, anything else is postponing doomsday.
Who killed Abacha? Nigerians are lucky people. If that plane blew up,by now half of the Nigerians living abroad would have fled for their lives. Remember how the Middle eastern people fled the US after the 9/11. So let us wait on God. All this talk of separation is mere talk nothing is happening. If not the goat Jonathan would have asked Nigerians to demand from Yar'Adua why he cannot hand over to him.

I think you are taking it too seriously. I don't think he intends it in the manner you perceive it. I think he intends to be jocular.
jocular! that is how it starts in Nigeria, like joke like joke Yar'Adua is doing his time from sick bed. Didn't the AGF joke about it? Like joke like joke, the 6000mw has become part of the failures of governance. You don't come to the public and joke like that. In sane countries, you don't just talk because they will analyze every word of it. How can this guy assume supreme commander,is there no other better way of addressing the guy? Persons who are democratic do not subscribe to such title.

@Kosovo stop this your stu pid use of this autocratic and dictatorial supreme commander my foot! this is not Iran where you have those who equate themselves to God by adopting supreme. This is that same mentality that has made Yar'Adua not to resign despite the fact that he is equal to a dead man. If some people like you get hold of Nigeria,am sure that you will remove the president title and replace it with this your animal instinct title.

I aint f ucking blowing no trumpet. If all the educated people in Nigeria can put away sectarian agenda and talk sense. Don't we have up to 30 million educated people in this country. Do you know the impact that will make if? Most serious revolution that impacted the world were written down and orchestrated by the elite.Get that in your head

Okonjo-Iweala did not achieve that; the Paris club members had decided to cut the debt of third world countries due to pressure from various pressure groups in the western countries. It just so happened that she was the finance minister at that time. She be winch or she put jazz for mouth?
Debating this issue will amount to waste of time. Okay lets say that Obj and all past rulers did nothing wrong to the country because they just happen to be leaders of Nigeria in the past? Dumb head! Even the man of the moment who will sign our budget when God gives him a little time to open his eyes because am convinced that he is in coma if eventually Turai wont sign it If not why could he not even wish us happy xmas or because he is a terrorist who does not believe that Christ was born?
PoliticsRe: Yar'adua To Sign Budget On Hospital Bed by ChapelleS: 4:20pm On Dec 28, 2009
Since am a Nigerian,am included in the 'a country of cowards' but let me tell you tell you something on the 9th of Nov 2009 weeks before Yar'Adua fell sick I called on him to resign. You can read more on 'nigeriarevolution..com' If we had 10million Nigerians like myself,we will not be in this mess. Three days to go with over $40bn/annum and we cannot get 6000mw.

SEFAGO:
Not enough proof.

Look at this:

1. Dora Akunyili despite her so-called rebranding campaign has been mired in several corruption scandals and her integrity has been called into question.

2. Our minister for foreign affairs Ojo Maduekwe is busy gallivanting around and spending billions of our money on foreign trips.

3. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala despite her pedigree was unable to achieve anything really significant for us except a loan forgiveness.

4. Obasanjo's government was corrupt like hell. Enough said.

5. Dimeji Bankole. Enough said

6. Michael Akhigbe during abdulsalami's interim government enough said.

7. The significant number of southerners during Obasanjo's government that didn't do crap. The situation under Obasanjo and Yar'adua are really not that different even though Yar'adua is presiding over a recession.

And it goes on- where these the most qualified peoople?
You are the biggest fool for the year 'Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala despite her pedigree was unable to achieve anything really significant for us except a loan forgiveness.' Do you know how many countries want to get their names off the debt lists? And you think that debt forgiveness is not an achievement? Am not trying to justify anyone but compare the 2.7bn spent by the slowpoke Ojo to the what $40bn would have achieved for us if it is utilized well. China built the three gorge dam to generate 10,000 mw with less than $15bn. Ok just give Nigerians one thing if it electricity and leave the rest for another president. Didnt Sanusi say the same thing? A sick man who cannot handle one point saddled himself with seven.

Kx:
The evidence that they are the most qualified are as follows.

1.For the first time in the history of the country, the annual budget is going to be
signed by nigerian president in saudi arabia sick bay.

2.Our refineries are refinning crude at over 100% installed capacity and fuel yapka everywhere in the counrty.

3.Our roads are in splendid and excellent states.

4.CBN is doing excellently well and the govnor is the worlds best cbn govenor going by his latest achievement.

5. NEPA is doing wonderfully well and power failure is history in nigeria.

6.Lately,a northernan has done nigeria proud by attempting to bomb america.

Can u now see why the north are the most qualified ppl in the land?
Their achievements speaks for them without being sentimental. sad sad sad
Thank you so much Kx.You are a dahling.
PoliticsRe: Open Letter To Seun And Politics Section Moderator(s) by ChapelleS: 3:53pm On Dec 28, 2009
My solution.Does it matter. If the Northern terrorist cannot give Nigerians good roads and light with over $40bn annually. I will be the one to proffer the solution. In what capacity. When a dead man in hospital for 1 month 5 days has refused to let go, the north wants to subvert the constitution by pressuring Goodluck to resign. Am happy that the north are the ones sowing the seeds that will bring chaos to this country, when it happens and the south scream that they don't want Nigeria anymore, the Western imperialist will understand better.

Analysing the situation in the country, I very much doubt that they are the best qualified.
Best qualified? Mountain of excuses why the 6000mw has gone with the winds?
They are best qualified for fuel scarcity and orchestrating the Nigerian paradox. Plenty of raw materials for refineries that cannot work? Even the small countries of W.Africa are mocking us right now.

I hope you know treason is a crime with extreme punishments? Positing seditious positions is a crime against the state.
Beaf:
Calm down!
Do you think we are under a dictatorial military regime? If anybody feels the solution to Nigeria's problems is secession, let them air it. Abi you no want solution?
If something isn't working, why keep it?

Can you honestly give one simple reason why Nigeria must be kept together (aside from blind "patriotism" or sentiment)? Where is our "president" (PDP's Northern rotation president)?
Don't mind them. Most of those who keep on insisting that Nigeria must be together are the Northern terrorist. They have been terrorizing  Nigeria since independence and they now want to ply their trade abroad. That is why they will insist on a comatose man to lead Nigeria. The biuld up to the break up of Nigeria is gathering momentum. When the southerner scream that they cannot co-exist with the radicalised and extremists north, the Western imperialist will grasps it better.  Now the north should tell which section of the country that

He had the VISA before the they put him on the watch list. Info from CNN has it that he was on watch list for the UK having refused him student VISA in May this year. He was not on 'no fly' list. There was not concrete evidence to warrant that. And moreover Nigerians are not known for terrorism.

@SEFAGO Which State? Virtual state in your mind? Arrant nonsense.

@Kosovo

I do not seek your time for any of your mad vituperation. You are the wrong man at the wrong place, admit it. That is the problem with Nigeria. If you want to try and see what am talking about. Open a popularity poll for yourself and see what happens to you. It is done in sane countries. Everyday Obama is concerned with his popularity likewise in other right and upward mobile country, not in a chaotic, sick and insane Nigeria where leaders don't even care if they are accepted. This is a political section and it does not deserve scumbags like you.
