To all the ladies saying the guy's mum shouldn't have gossip about her family. Let me ask you all a simple question.

Have you never had a gossip discussion with your mum or aunt about your brother's wife mum or the wife too in person? Y'all should keep shut cos you always do that.

The mistake the mom made was making the call when the said lady was around the premises.

This is why most ladies have this prayer point that their mother in laws should be dead before they get married to the son. Forgetting that they too would be mothers and their daughter in laws will also wish them speedy death transition.

There is no mother on earth who will see the son or daughter getting married to a monster and won't try to find possible ways of making that union divided. Except few cases, where the mother or father just hate the other party for no reason.

So, let's call a spade a spade. The mom made a big mistake making that call when she's fully aware that her daughter in law is a monster and the lady (baby mama) was too rash and worse if she even lied blatantly that the husband abused her, not fully aware the husband had everything on tape.

Like someone once said, 'LOVE IS BLIND, BUT MARRIAGE IS AN EYE OPENER'. To all the guys and ladies out there who are still single, please for the love of God, try to make sure you use your head and think straight before rushing to the altar and shout I do.

While it is a good thing to resolve religious e-wars that has been a bane on this forum by giving Islam it's own section, I find it appalling that those who cried wolf initially are becoming increasingly guilty of the same vice.
Many muslims while hiding under the one-sided law of nairaland create topics and write posts ( some which are intentionally pushed to front-page) just to bash the Christian religion and abuse its prophets and beliefs. They do this because they are aware adherents of other faiths are prohibited from commenting in the Islam section. But this is not so for the other section used by Christians and other faiths. There , it is a free-for-all thing where even the Muslim are free to create threads and posts topics that maybe offensive to other faiths.

Is that not favouritism of one faith over another?
Isn't that double-standard attitude??

There is a thread on front-page right now discussing about Jesus Christ. It is not a bad thing for muslims to talk about Jesus Christ since they claim they believe in him but the issue with doing that on a thread that was intentionally pushed to front-page is that the writer was always opposing/dissing Christian beliefs about Jesus.

Can a thread about opposing views of what Muslim believe about Mohammed be created by a Christian be pushed to front-page

I am not against any religion but nairaland double-standard attitude especially on religion is really oozing.

The mods and seun himself can't deny they've not seen those threads on front page but they're in ecstacy because it's a thread demeaning the Christians.

So, nothing you would say that will convince them to act fairly. Many have reported same reports you just made bro yet nothing is been done. So let's just keep looking at them beside you can't force an extremist to deny his faction.

Don't mind the idiots. When their women marry an outsider, they condemn her. But when the men marry an outsider, it's the other way round and they try to force the Christian lady to a Muslim convert. What's good for the goose, is good for the gander.

There was a case of a lady that married a Christian guy and she fled with him to France, till date the family disowned her and even tried to kill her. I'll try and search for that story again. The very moment this country becomes a full Islamic state, then we will see the true colours of these mofos. And that day is gradually at hand.

My brother, you really played. Till date, I have a notebook I wrote all mortal combat players skill. My favorites are Noob saibot, Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Kabal, Smoke, Cyrax. If I want to be unbeatable, I'll use Noob Saibot and I can still remember how to do the Brutality combo.

Sunset rider was fun especially if you have a good partner.

International superstar soccer was so awesome. My player was Allejo. I'll go the near the corner flag, and press Direction back z and you'll hear good ball, next thing in your net. If I have a corner, it's a goal cos we knew the trick of scoring with corners.

Another game I love was wings of Angel.
