Responsibilities

- Monitors and maintains general ledger
- Manages fixed assets by establishing adequate accounting and control  systems to safeguard the assets, of the company, ensuring compliance with management policies and procedures and ensuring accuracy and validity of transactions;
- Manages payroll
- Prepares final accounts (Trial balance, pal, Balance sheet)
- Prepares financial reports;
- Forecasts/projects and analyzes monthly cash flow
- Evaluates financial performance including investment appraisal and financial analysis of production strategies.
- Variance analyses:
- Establishes banking policy and ensures prudent fund management.    
Controls inventory.
- Develops annual budget.

JOB REQUIREMENT

- B. Sc. Or HND in Accounting with a minimum of 5 years combined experience in Financial & Management Accounting and Credit Control garnered preferably within the manufacturing industry;

- Possession of a recognized professional qualification such as ACA and membership of ICAN is mandatory;
