Ok first of all the issue of feeding won't be a problem because you can find virtually everything here but as i said things are very rough for Nigerians right now, there are also lots of nigerian restaurants that serve local food.
On the issue of rent, you can find a two bedroom, one sitting room and a kitchen at N200,000 a semester(four years or six months) or even less depending on the location, you can also find a single room with a bathroom going for as low as N80,000 , there are really all types of places you can rent. You can even decide to stay at a hostel which ranges from N100,000 to N200,000.
On the issue of Business, there are lots of Business people here from nigeria, consisting the likes of petroleum products , basic items for nigerians(e.g indomie,sardine etc) and so on.
On the issue of jobs, most firms,orgs and universities are willing to employ anybody with the right qualifications.
Lastly there are a lot of universities here with the likes of Kampala International University, Cavendish University, International University of East Africa, Kampala University being the most popular for foreigners, as i said i am a student of KIU so I will tell you more about it. KIU is an international university with two campuses in Uganda (Kampala and Ishaka), one campus in tanzania, another college in kenya. It offers virtually almost all programs(certificates,bachelors,diplomas,postgraduate, PHD's etc) and is the only private university amongst the ones i mentioned above that is qualified to do so, it also offers all courses ranging from engineering,law,IT,medicine,pharmacy,education etc. The other schools also offer the programs but are not really recognised. Tuition fees start from $1000 a semester in KIU,$900 in IUEA but you can get schools for as low as N100,000(that is if you are most concernced about money), I guess you should try googling all those schools for better intel.

Calm down.
I'm naturally a sociable person, he is not. He has no friends and don't hang out. When I try to instigate such, he seems cool but when it's time to take such actions he just doesn't bring himself to do it. Again Oga, no be person wet you see you go go out with? Even when I volunteer to see him, he just gives excuses.I have sat down to think where the problem is coming from and still I don't seem to understand.

I am feeling so devastated right now , my fiance is leaving me , cause I open up to him , that I once had an abortion .
my fiance and I already meet with our parents , he asked of my hands in marriage, and I accepts , we have been to our parents house , but there's an issue in my side , my father don't was not really good with it , cause of cultural differences, but later agreed we can go ahead with it , so my fiance tells me I need to get pregnant , so that we will do the marriage , I agree to that , but it isn't forthcoming , so I started remembering my past , when I had an abortion , so I opened up to him cause of the love we and trust I shared with him , I have carried out possible best, I am okay but some hormonal challenges , after a month he text me , that he's no more interested in the relationship , i am full of regrets right now , I don't know what to do

But when I started spending weekends in his house I found out that he drinks a lot, beats and insults me, telling me he can never marry someone like me, but he also takes care of me as I was unemployed then, I felt it was ignorant and kept enduring and confide in his elder brother's wife about my dilemma....

To cut long story short, I got a job in 2015 and he got very sick in 2016 so I had to let go of my job to tend to him for 2 months till he traveled for proper treatment.


I followed him to his village cos I thought it was the right thing to do but his brothers, sisters, mother and uncles told him to send me away, I left there feeling miserable and insulted...

But he kept telling me that he doesn't want to lose me that we will keep on praying that one-day they will accept me so we can then marry.

I know he loves me... Probably because I was there with him when he was sick.... But am no more that young and I don't know what will happen later... Am afraid and frustrated....

I don't know what to do please help me out. I can explain more if u ask I am just confused and depressed. What do I do, how do I cope?

Am dying in silence. Am 17 years old and my step dad has been sleeping with me.

On several occassions I have told my mum but she will flog me and say I watch too many movies, I have also tried to tell my real daddy each time I go visiting but when he confronts my mum about it,she will fight him and call him a Bad man.

My dad has gone as far as filing for my full custody but they are still in court. My dad asked me to get evidence but I don't know how to. Please how do I get evidence to give my dad?

My step daddy is very powerful and when he is on top of me I can't move. I will just be shouting and he will use a pillow to cover my mouth.
