I like the idea of going short on Gold today.

This is the plan.

I would like to think so sir, but my trading System doesn't permit me to trade off S/Rs. I would need more information about the pair before I would want to sell.

Apparently, Dxy still follows the markup I drew and I don't see a resistance till 94.75 from the weekly .
I'm not in a haste to buy back EU as I want to see a failed swing low on the H4 and also a failed swing high on the USD part (Dxy and USDCAD).
Equally, I would want the week to close weakly bullish or bearish for USD and EU respectively.


Attached is how I look at the chart from my end.

Hello folks, I'm on to the next phase of my plan with EU.
Closed the previous with +150 pips which I lost to gold

I'll be preparing for re-entry on Gold anyway.

Usdcad though is +200 pips

I only said that I imagine EU to range probably this week since Friday's daily candle and the overall weekly candle were fully bearish.

Why would I imagine that? Because by my markup, we have a HH(higher high) on the daily TF so I would be expecting a HL(higher low) too which I expect to happen at the consolidation box at 1.1700.

And 1.1700 has a lot of confluences in my plan.

But of course I could be wrong which means more selling profits

Then from maybe next month EUROUSD suppose begin buy back...

This month don dey finish ... I don't know if EU would go lower because that one I marked LL is an accumulation box for mitigation (LPS in Wyckoff's terms) and also QML so maybe, just maybe we may see another consolidation this week as last week's candle and even Friday's daily candle were strongly bearish and as it is "I don't catch a falling knife" .

Usdcad is still yet to approach 1.30....

We would watch the show

This is my trade plan on EU on the long term.

I would watch closely to see how price follows my projections. I would be closing my sell position(depending on market sentiments) on Monday and prepare to buy.

I finally opened the position on Gold but I had made a miscalculation with my entry.

I'm still confident about my bias but since I have made a poor entry,I was left with my emotions almost taking control of the situation.

I understand that I may meet such circumstances when I'm live so I decided to manage it logically. I'm risking a total of my EU profits if it goes really bad on the trade.

The goal is to tame my emotions to a reasonable level and avoid the frequent recurrence of today's mistake.

Many of friend have tried to get me to abandon this forum and focus on my spiritual work but I believe that even if just one person is moved to think beyond the material and ask themselves why they are here in creation then I have achieved something.

Anyways, I just set out on this path before stumbling on your articles. It feels like a long road with many things yet vague to my mind.

I have not made myself to be too rigid with the projections so I have prepared plans A and B and will follow each as the market presents.
Wish I had created an account with a larger leverage though.

I trade just EU

I move from scalping to swing, depending on what the market gift me.
I assure you i use a trading style the fx theological community might frown against
That's the reason my trade history is locked.
I don't want the energy or argument on my style of trade management practices

I don't really know if i should be posting my P/L weekly,
I might open my trade explorer history on the last weekend of every month.
Because i am really trying to limit attention that might lead to distraction.

It's equity or open trade Drawdown,
From history back testing it can be as deep as 50% so i am not even moved.

I was going to ask what your trading style is because you bring in P/L each week and you said once that you trade only one pair(I'm not sure if I'm correct about that last part)
