Y'all remember the USDCAD trade I was holding since 23/09/2021? Well, I was liquidated today . Profit was not taken because I've been trying to master the art of position scaling. Twice I've been bitten but I'll try again.

My trading style is quite different and I'll try to "bleed as much as possible during training" so that I wouldn't bleed much on the battle field.
I'd love to hear any advice from more experienced swing traders who do my type of swing trading on how I can improve as regards position management.

My trading history since I started this account proves that gold has been a major setback and that is why she has been asked to take a break from the watchlist

The bad thing about this kind of issues is, when it hit you hard ehn, it might take weeks to get yourself back.

The idea of sniper entry is that they patiently await their target, and when it's time to pull the trigger, they do so with full confidence.

Anyway, always back test your system so you don't panic on trade entry.

I have been quiet for some while and I'm just observating, most of you in here are fools, the forex market has no boundaries, just because you can't trade doesn't mean everybody can't. You guys shame people for pulling 1000% profits. just because you can't do that doesn't mean it not possible. Free your mind from jealousy and keep learning.

This is wrong, sir. I believe what they are trying to say - "we who shame people for pulling 1000% profits" is simply that in the long run, it will catch up with you and you may lose.... A LOT.

But then it's not really contributing anything here if you just "observe". If you have the ability to pull up 1000% profits consistently, why not show everyone here how you do what you do. Let's all learn from you, eh? Let's see if they are all wrong for saying it is not healthy doing that in the long term. .

Are you expecting dxy to touch 9471 before going south. For me, that's a rejection @ 9447.

Sometime ago, I projected 95/96 because that area is 50% of the whole bearish move (on macro level). Yes, I may be expecting above 94 but when there is a shift in the structure (a new LL) then we can all play along. That would equally mean EU trading back above 1.17

But it is just my opinion.

I'd love for us to take a look at EU with me. The previous low which I had expected to hold was brutally broken (in Jim beglin's voice: " it was no small battle" ). Given that Dxy has some more grounds to cover (I'm not using the TL as basis for analysis here), I'd expect EU to fall further to 1.14 price area.

I'd also like to use this medium to express my frustration with my demo account. Mehn , It feels like the more I try to move forward, the more backward I go. Majority of my losses came from gold and it is telling on the account. It has suffered major hits and I'm frustrated . I have removed it from my list and I hope to breathe better.
We have to keep pushing o. I want to handle accounts like Mr.Gabson o


Hopefully, we'll all see what became of the demo account at the end of the year.

Like I said two weeks ago or thereabout that I would expect the following week (last week) to be a dull one because I was expecting a ranging market for EU in order to sustain a HL.

On the H4 is what looks like an inverse HNS and the weekly candle closed weakly bearish the daily candle of Friday had rejected the 1.1700 area. I would be ready to buy EU after a Break of structure has been confirmed on the H4.

I anticipate the trial contest, Mr. Gabson.

As for me I became a scalper after most of my trade would...go in profits and later retrace to go against me......(I rarely spend 5 hours in total) these days..

Traders in the house how many hours do you spend on those chart...per day....

At this point, I'm looking to test my resilience in holding on to a trade. This is the first time I've held a trade running into weeks.
