Nigeria's Islamist militant group, Boko Haram giving South Africa 24hours to end xenophobic attacks or face bombing. This warning was reportedly contained in a brief YouTube video message, where the blood thirsty sect threatened to extend its terror activities to South Africa if the killing continued, warning that that if the South African government refuse to contain the situation, it will execute all South Africans living in Nigeria, Chad, Niger and other surrounding countries. The Boko Haram terrorists group also threatened to attack South African embassies in the aforementioned countries. What do you think of this threat by Boko Haram? https://m.facebook.com/NigeriaInfoFM/photos/a.222990231096093.55130.219647158097067/888879241173852/?type=1&source=46&refid=17 |

The president elect has issued a red card to serving top government officials who in recent times besieged his residence in Daura, Katsina to lobby for retention of their positions. Buhari, was livid last week when the current Comptroller-General of Customs, Abdullahi Dikko Inde, visited his residence in Daura to pay homage. Per Second News learnt that the customs boss who coincidentally hails from, Musawa Local Government Area, Katsina state immediately after informing the President-Elect of his mission was advised to go back to his duty post. Dikko, shocked by Buhari’s response tried unsuccessfully to inform the retired General of the situation at all Nigeria’s borders, seaport and the airports, but the President-elect upbraided the 55 year-old that the ideal procedure is to wait until he has been sworn in as president, describing the visit as unhealthy, unethical and disloyalty to a government he is still serving. He thereafter asked the customs boss to leave his residence, rejecting also his gift items. The Comptroller general and his team hurriedly left the residence, parking the valuables and gifts items along. The visit of the current Commandant-General of the NSCDC, Ade Abolurin, on Sunday was more comical, he arrived Daura, the residence of the President-Elect with top officers of the corps, photographers and some members of the press. According to a member of the Buhari Campaign from Katsina, “The President-Elect was having his normal quiet time when the delegation arrived”. The corps officers led by its commandant were left outside in the scorching sun for over an hour, before the the commandant and two corps officers were allowed entry into the President-elect’s visitors room Abolurin, still recuperating from a fire burn incident got the shock of his life when an aide of Buhari, said that the retired General wants him out of his residence and will not be seeing him. Dumbfounded the corps officers left in a haste to the surprise of other delegation members outside, who were waiting and hoping to see the president-elect and take photographs with him. Per Second News can authoritatively report that a serving minister last week also sent emissaries to the president-elect in a bid to secure a private meeting. Private business tycoons are not left out of the visits, Forte Oil CEO, Femi Otedola, and Oando boss Adewale Tinubu also visited Buhari last week. The national leader of the APC, Ahmed Bola Tinubu, shortly before the governorship elections brought the Chagoury brothers to meet with the president-elect in a closed door meeting. Per Second News gathered that the deluge of top current serving government officials and visitors reaching out to General Buhari at this material time has turned his Daura home to a new Mecca. They refuse to elect credible candidates in their respective states that can move the region forward. I HAVE A DREAM!!!!! Looking to when Aba dt was referred to as the Japan of Nig will be achieved.I am hopeful they will one day elect credible leaders that will turn the coastal region in SS&SE into international seaports. I have a dream that if they vote for knowledgeable leaders like some region of the country have done,SS and SE will be the industrial powerhouse of Nig. I hope these dreams will be achieved in my life. STOP ELECTING POWER MONGERS.The region will continue to witness high influx of indigenes emigration to other developed regions of the country if the voting pattern doesn't change. |

ElFenomeno1:God bless you for this comment.Mandela once said 'There are times when a leader must move out ahead of the flock, go off in a new direction, confident that he is leading his people the right way'. IMO, this is the path Amaechi followed when he decamped to APC bt sad enough majority of the people chose to think otherwise. They mistook his new direction as a sign of betrayal. |
Marvin67:Who is afraid of free, fair and credible elections. If Wike is so sure that he will win confidently at the polls he should have done dt thru a fair contest not thru election marked by irregularities. Shame on him for unleashing terror on the people he wants to serve. Is that true leader or one that want power at all cost. |
Even those that don't have pvc participated and sadly the ethnic comment sympathisers who do not reside in Lagos.lol |
This is regrettably lugubrious. And one Lagos guber aspirant has promised to lift the restrictions placed on okada, I will be dumbest human being in this world if I vote for him. |
The presidential elections of March 28th, 2015 was one of a kind with a lot of positivity attached to it.We can all bask in euphoria because for once in Nigeria the people of the nation witnessed an election whereby their votes really count. Not only that, it was also an election that the loser of the election congratulated the winner even before the final announcement was made, a strange gesture in this part of the world. It is a gesture that will forever go down memory lane and which history will continue to make reference to.Surely, you will agree with me that President Goodluck has written his name on a platter of gold with that kind gesture.A lesson for Africa as a whole. Wide celebrations was witnessed in a number places in the country while congratulatory messages never seized to pour in from international communities after the announcement by INEC that GMB won the election.Once again I could not be less happy that Nigeria is once again celebrated for a good thing just like the success of defeating Ebola. But now, we are now been celebrated for conducting a peaceful election that has helped strengthened our fledgling democracy. 15million Nigerians voted for change and now change has come no doubt about that, May 29th 2015 is around the corner for the inauguration of a new government to govern the nation in the next four years. No time for celebration anymore, now is the time to truely work towards the 'change' the APC-led government promised us.If you could remeber vivdly APC campaign trail was fundamentally based on four top priorities to tackle if elected into power which are 1.Insecurity 2.Unemployment 3.Economy 4.Corruption President-elect promised to tackle these problems headlong and with the help of a formidable team that will occupy one mimisterial office or the other. Starting from May 29th 2015, Nigerians will expect the new government to set the ball rolling and keep to their promises. You will agree with me that the road won't be so smooth for the incoming administration but we do not expect them to be slow in discharging their duties. During the campaign trail of APC, i know i am not the only one befuddled whenever I hear the president elect insisting that corrpution will never strive in his government. Is this possible? How are about those corrupt politicians that supported GMB all through the campaign and are now eyeing one position in office or the other. Will GMB completely ignore them?No doubt there are awhole lot of corrupt politicians within APC who are now lobbying for one appointment or the other. Please GMB beware of these political mongers, they do not mean well for this country rather for selfish interests. If there any lesson GMB should learn from past administration, it is the kind of people GEJ surrounded himself with.According to ex-president OBJ, they are lot of good people scattered in every nook ane cranny of this country that are trustworthy and align with your integrity standards.I agree completely with the Ebora of Owu on this. So the first POINT OF DUTY for the president-elect is for GMB to keep his promise of appointing men and women who truly have the proclivity of true servant rather than those that want to be ministers just because they see it as a pay back time for their hard work during the campaign. It is important to let president-elect know that once he appoint men of questionable character he might lose his fight against corruption. Please GMB get your cabinet appointments right and you will surely enjoy every moment of govering this country. So,we are watching and we wait patiently to see the caliber of men that will team up with you. |
bishopjoe02:Your point ain't logical and it is so obvious Gej's loss really hit u hard.Take it easy bro cos you only leave once.Dont take panadol for another man headache. |

How long do we have to say this, it is not only Tinubu that has garnered a whole lot of companies for himself through public funds. Most of the politicians are guilty of this shameful act.We all know again that Fashola is loyal to his boss bt by and large he can still be proud of a little success in Lagos state. Tinubu's self driven wealth sources are in the public domain bt wht of those politicians have the more than him bt we havnt heard of at all. As far as I am concerned, it is the personality of GMB that drew most pple to support APC, not tinubu or fashola personalities. If elected and they fail to perform, we gat the power to vote them out shikena bt lets try dem or shall we continue with these mess the govt of the day has put us into. |

yemivictor:So who should take the credit? The one that successfully moved the motion or the other way round. You should try to make deductive reasoning while reading.FFK outrightly claimed that his father moved the motion |
Askedy an elderly person now if it is Fani Kayode's father that moved the motion for independence. The man said Fani whatttttttt!!! blatant Lie...Dnt mind him oo..Pa Enahoro was the person that moved the motion. FFK is full of deceit, he should not be taken serious. |
