Ethnic warmongers, una no dey rest? For you to even think you are in a war and choose sides makes you even more foolish. |
etrouble:Free pussy? Like it was expensive before? |
Sonnobax15:There is a special pain when someone accuses you of theft. Just fashi dem and move on.. Nigerians are mostly always trying to outsmart others.. |
softtorce:You mistake me for your drunk in your village, I'm not him. |
Vinnie2000:Tor, I understand. For me, I don't fight for what I didn't buy. And definitely don't eat edible gifts. But for the sake of explanation, let the fathers have their way.. |
No delusions. It is not just the northern regions that grapple with insecurity; the shadows of danger stretch across the entire nation. In the East, the specter of UGM and IPOB fighters looms large, while the Middle Belt and Western regions contend with the menacing presence of Fulani herdsmen plus Organ Hervesters. In the North, the threats multiply with the relentless activities of Boko Haram, ISIS, and ISWAP. Me, I can't defend any form of political unrest, whether it's from my place or your place. I no fit drink posion because it is served in my tribal cup. |
Verydarkhearted:Omo eh, I recall a rather unforgettable neighbor high in that shit who, in a moment of sheer fervor, kept screaming very loudly "Blood of Jesus, Blood of Jesus, Blood of Jesus" over three hundred times! His voice rang through the night, a fervent mantra that seemed to echo endlessly. Omo, we rushed out thinking sth had happened o until we were briefed. Eventually, he shouted himself hoarse, collapsing beside his dog’s kennel in sheer exhaustion. He slept there, until the early light crept into the day when he finally came like an Enugu father Christmas, it was with a sheepish grin and four generous packs of Chicken Republic delights, an offering meant to appease the household. Haha |
You see those states you feel are useless because of the low figures, they aren't useless but heavily looted. |
Dear Inspector General of Police, I wish to bring to your attention a troubling reality on our roads: many police officers appear to disregard your directives. They continue to assault, harass, extort, and unlawfully search individuals’ phones, often boasting, “Nothing will happen,” and “Even the IGP collects his share.” While I understand that the "roger" money extorted from drivers is allegedly shared, with a significant portion funneled to those higher up in the hierarchy, it is disheartening to witness officers persistently stretching out their hands for bribes. Drivers who cannot afford to pay or refuse to comply face delays, are marked, or are subjected to unnecessary scrutiny as officers seek faults in their documentation. I recognize your appointment necessitates loyalty to those who placed you in this position; however, I implore you to prioritize bringing your officers to order for the sake of our nation. Moreover, the line between law enforcement and criminality is increasingly blurred. Officers often emerge from Sienna vehicles, guns drawn, threatening civilians. They unjustly profile individuals based on their appearance, seeking faults where none exist. In pursuit of suspects, they recklessly fire shots into the air, raising concerns about their adherence to rules of engagement. It is crucial to remember that the same blood courses through the veins of both officers and civilians. After their duties, officers return home without their weapons, sharing the same society that they are sworn to protect. And we must not forget that many Nigerians are struggling; as the saying goes, a hungry man is an angry man. They should be careful not to provoke the hungry man after feeding large from him. That said, I extend my gratitude to all the dedicated officers who work tirelessly to maintain peace in our country. And even though I do not agree to all policies by the president, approving this is a good feat for the NPF. Thank you. |
Mine: On a bustling day at MarketSquare, I ventured out to gather a few essentials. (I settled for MarketSquare because the ShopRite near my location, the management was poor asf so I don't go there..dey fit just announce say make everyone go outside say generator dey get issue. No bi small thing.) Back to the tori... As I strolled through the vibrant shelves, my attention was suddenly captivated by a sharply dressed man approaching the entrance. Unfortunately, he seemed blissfully unaware of the transparent glass walls that stood in his path. With a resounding thud, his head collided with the glass, shattering it into a million sparkling fragments. A pang of sympathy washed over me, especially as the jagged edges left a mark on his forehead. Yet, despite my concern, I found myself unable to suppress a fit of laughter. I quickly ducked behind a nearby shelf, my mirth bubbling forth in uncontrollable waves. Each time I attempted to regain my composure, the laughter would surge back, forcing me to hide once more. I wasn’t alone; several onlookers shared my amusement. It wasn’t the injury itself that struck me..or say us.. as funny—of course, I felt for him—but rather the sight of him striding confidently, only to be thwarted by the glass barrier, while the young woman accompanying him dashed away as if escaping an explosion. Once the commotion subsided, I completed my purchase and resumed my wanderings through the aisles. As I meandered past a gadget store on my right, something caught my eye—a sleek device that resembled an iPad. And guess what? Like how Google Search and Facebook steals our private search results to show us third party related search results indexed as ads, I was planning on purchasing an iPad so it coincided perfectly. Eager to have a closer look, I hurried over, excitement bubbling within me. Yet, in my haste, I too fell victim to the invisible barrier, colliding headfirst into the glass, and I slipped and fell, leaving me momentarily stunned and, inevitably, the source of another round of laughter. Omo, it was so loud. I didn't even see anyone laughing but I sure did know they were waiting for me to leave. My forehead was red gan...like Mrs Karma was worried that day. Crazy experience I still laugh at when I remember it. What about yours?

Congrats, from a co-writer, web designer, programmer, and statistician, I can relate.👍 |
It's not easy doing these reviews but thanks for the efforts...even though I am not a fan of Nigerian movies. |
Being in Nigeria, poor, and overly ambitious can lead you a conscienceless life if you are not careful. |
Wait, so if Kemi didn't talk, y'all pretending the NPF isn't a mess? |
There's actually no law saying you must travel every December. You can go anytime of the year when it is less saturated and safer. |
Someone above was actually wanting to tag with another stranger if there were going his location because "his fare isn't complete " Na so some people no like their lives reach. Your fare no complete to go, you no go rest, how you wan come back? |
Funny same people who want to fight for religion are the biggest tribalists too against people of the same religion but different tribes. You cannot give what you don't have. |
If Hakimi and his estranged wife who wanted his property were Nigerians, the wife suppose chop beating join. |

I often find myself puzzled by the mindset that drives some individuals to believe that taking another person's life for ritual purposes will somehow bring them wealth. As the Igbo say, ife onye metụtara, obughi nke onye ọzọ. Society has shifted, leading many to think that money is the sole goal of life. Celebrities, with their façade of a lavish lifestyle, parade flashy cars—often bought on credit—as if they were symbols of success. The poor youth, yearning to emulate these role models, often fail to realize that what these yeyebrities known for—music, acting, and the like—rarely reflects their true sources of income. Igi kan ko le da igi meji, yes, but you must not be the odd tree! To thrive and as adults, you need to filter what you consume on social media. The rule of thumb is straightforward: if it’s for the world to see, it’s often a façade. What’s done for show is merely fake love. Truly, gaskiya ba ta shafi gajere. Parents, too, have a role in this dilemma. Many pressure their children into crime, often saying, "Look at your mates!" But this has caused more harm than good. As the Igbo wisemen remind us, nwata k'ekwe ya, ma o bu na o b'ogbe, which of course agrees to the fact that a child is indeed shaped by their environment. Parents and society have failed this time. It is left for you to put an antivirus in your brain to sift out negativity, the “get rich quick anyhow anyway“ the world promotes! But I know you don't wanna do that because it looks like I am after your dreams! Am I? And what of the government? It seems focused solely on disheartening the populace. There are no jobs available, even as many are eager to work. Corrupt leaders steal billions, leaving the country in despair. One stole ₦60bn and was told to remit some few millions! It looks like billion robberies are constituted on Nigeria because nothing is actually done to these thieves!! As the Yoruba say, bí a bá fi ẹsẹ̀ kan s'áàárẹ́, ẹsẹ̀ méjì á r'ẹ́ which translates to "If one foot is in the mud, the other will follow." In Nigeria, there are no leaders of tomorrow. The people in government are not planning to leave. And even when they leave, the replacement is usually one of their many emergency next of kin. Become the leader of today and don't follow the trend! In the end, we must remember that true wealth lies not in material possessions by killing people, but in labour. |
L1TTLE: Since I can verily relate to your situation based on real life experience, I will advise you: 1. Work and save money as soon as possible and relocate. Peace of mind is life. 2. Such types of fathers cannot change, esp when they have recruits of supporters backing their [bad] actions so they don't know when to stop. 3. About the curses, it won't work if you don't want it to subdue you. How? Get up and work! Can you write? Can you create websites? Can you program or design? What can you do that people would need to buy your time to do? I could teach you how to make money online for free so you can start earning for yourself and build a good life. 4. I'm sorry for your mom's demise. It's okay to grief, but face the reality and don't run away from it. 5. The best way to revenge is to be successful. |
Quack. If you've not experienced such types of fathers, your best advice should be giving a deafening silence. Kobojunkie: |

Just by merely letting me know you have a besttie is the beginning of the end of our relationship. |
Simple advice: marry and rest. |
