Not seen people as wicked as blacks.

We tend to thrive with other people's pain.

That's why a president who has allegedly looted trillions of Naira is never thinking to stop until he milks the country dry.

I mean, how can you be allegedly paying yourself subsidy? Na your company dey export fuel and sell fuel at low price to your company abroad for refining. Then your company abroad refines and sells at high price to your company back home. And you preach against monopoly? When you are the alpha monopoly!

How can this kind of person want progress?

Wetin en wan use all these money do!

Attack all you want but you see the stigma with Abacha? His would be worse in time to come. Every single dime stolen, both from Lagos down to the federal level will be accounted for.

And not just him, every corrupt politician. Steal now, but one day, your lineage will pay for it with their lives and the lives of their future generations. Every dime will be recovered.

With what's happening in Nigeria, there're three things you'd think:

1. if you discover oil in your compound, fence am. Then begin oil business.
Natural resources aren't only for the rich.

2. Negotiate with the gov. Be compensated.

3. Do nothing. After all, it'll be relooted.

Corruption is in every sector: it is the cankerworm that has taken dominance, and makes the host obeys.

My friend told me they had to do a survey with some banks in Nigeria using their dad's account who had just died. And the account was one getting pensionable incentives, but not withdraws.

These banks made it verily impossible for them to access these funds till date.

My question is simple: if you aren't planning on the remittance of the full account to the desired next of kin the parent holder of the account included, why make it a necessity?

This seems like an old scam in the banking sector and nobody seems talking about it.
Business › Why Do Banks Not Acknowledge Next Of Kin In Nigeria? by chatinent(op): 8:39pm On Aug 12, 2024
It's a prerequisite for opening an account but when sth happens to the parent holder and the next of kin appears, they'd keep making it difficult for that person to access the account. And at the end, the person never ever gets access to that account.

This thing happens pretty much in Nigeria. Why?
