below are my own photos I took with a drone . Like I said , I have over 5000 pics of Nigeria alone from north to south to west and east.I also have 10,000 images of other West African nations. this thread now focuses on Akwa ibom coastal areas and what I feel needs to be done there .

below is Ibeno beach. it's the longest coastal beach in all West Africa. there's so much potential begging to be realized on the beach which extends all the way to Mbo region . in fact, I think it should be divided into at least 4 beaches, with each section developed for different purposes.

The Nigerian community in South Africa has said that a mob has destroyed four shops and several houses belonging to their members at Krugersdorp, near Johannesburg.

Cyril James, the Ward Chairman of the Nigerian Union in the area, told the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN on Saturday that the attacks began on January 18.

According to James, the mob alleged that a Nigerian abducted a South African girl and raped her.

“The South Africans attacked our homes and shops, destroyed all we have.

“Many Nigerians suffered severe injuries during the attack. We have left our homes for safety because they (South Africans) are regrouping to attack us again,” he said.

He called on the Nigerian mission to urgently intervene before the mob kill more Nigerians.

He said the safety of Nigerians in Krugersdorp was no more guaranteed because there was no help.

Also, the president of union, Adetola Olubajo, told NAN that the situation in the area was bad.

“I can confirm that Nigerians in the area have been attacked. I am amazed and emotionally down as calls from panicked Nigerians flooded my phone from various Provinces.

“The South African government needs to be engaged at the highest level to avoid further loss of lives and property of our citizens,” he said.

Olubajo disclosed that two Nigerians had been killed in South Africa in Rustenburg and Durban since the attacks began.

“Two Nigerians have been killed, many displaced and injured in fresh Xenophobic attacks and extra-judicial killing,” he said.

Two weeks ago, more than five Nigerian owned shops and houses were burnt at Rustenburg, North West Province by Taxi Drivers.

The drivers alleged that Nigerians sold drugs to a gang that attacked their members and that a Nigerian abducted and raped a 16-year old South African girl.

The Nigerian Union, however, denied the allegations.

The Nigerian community in South Africa has alleged that a 27-year old man, Ebuka Okori, was killed by the police in Durban in the early hours of Friday 19th January,

According to Mr Bartholomew Eziagulu, the Chairman of the Nigerian Union chapter in Kwazulu Natal Province of South Africa, the victim was a native of Umunze in Orumba North Local Government of Anambra.

He said that an eyewitness informed the union that two police officers in mufti forcefully gained access to the victim`s house at Campbell Street in Durban at 2.am on Friday.

According to him, the officers immediately demanded money from Okori.

“When he refused, he was handcuffed, taken outside and shot dead. The officers took away his cell phone, e-passport and other valuable documents. The relative of the victim was tortured and robbed of his belongings while a third victim, a South African, was also robbed,” he said.

Eziagulu said that the Okori`s brother escaped from the house and called for help.

“The Metro Police around the vicinity swiftly intervened and picked the vehicle number of the assailants,” he added.

Eziagulu said that police detectives and another special police team which investigates complaints against their colleagues had been assisting to arrest the culprits.

Mr Adetola Olubajo, the President of the Nigerian Union in South Africa, said that the national secretariat had been informed about the incident. He said that the union was monitoring the situation and had informed the Nigerian Mission and the South African police.

need for intervention. We appeal to our mission and
Federal government to intervene urgently and save
the situation,” Olubajo said. Spokesman of the police in Rustenburg, Brig-Gen.
Sabata Mokgwabone said the reasons for the
violent protest was unclear but confirmed that “
the burnt houses are those occupied by foreign
nationals,” North West Provincial Commissioner of Police, Lt.-
Gen. Baile Motswenyane called on the public to
work with law enforcement officials. “ Those who are doing this must know that they
are committing a crime and drastic action will be
taken, including against our own members who are

To every glory is a story to tell. The list of Great Prophets in our generation wouldn’t be complete without mentioning the General Overseer of Freedom for All Nations Outreach(FANO) and the owner of FANO TV, Prophet Samuel Akinbodunse. He had to sleep under a flower on the streets of South Africa and yet, he kept on gathering people to worship God, preach to them, winning their souls for Christ. This is no doubt a very rare sacrifice especially In this dispensation where so called men of God do several fetish things to get popularity and wealth.

Also, he isn’t the lazy type. Before the reward for his consistency in Christ came, he worked in a salon, made braid for women, even as a man, and also got his own salon where he simultaneously used as a place where he gathered people to worship God, till they were too much to contain the place and he had to move to another place where he gathered over 300 members without a church. He would take people to mountains, pray with them, fasted for so many days, and so on till he finally registered FANO IN 2010 and started a church in 2012 after he heard from God because he was just known to doing inter-denominational prayers and crusades. Despite the fact that South-Africa isn’t a conducive environment for Nigerian Pastors to succeed, His church has 90% of South Africans as members and the remaining 10% as other Nationals.

Furthermore, even after the reward came, he still didn’t forget where he is coming from. He is known for Feeding at least 150 people every week through his programme tagged operation feed the Nation, gives south African scholarships, and many more

Talking on the many Prophecies he has said and has come to pass, He was the only Prophet that Predicted the flood that took place in Cape town in June 2017. Interestingly, he hosted Popular Nigerian Actor, John Okafor AKA Mr Ibu in his church where he gave a heart-touching testimony, Oil Tycoon, Igho Charles Sanomi, and several dignitaries.

One would easily deduce that It has been a rising spree for Popular Prophet, Samuel Akinbodunse since he started his ministry but his life is a living testimony to people that God uses the foolish things of this world to confound the wise and the weak things of this world to confound the mighty ones

The leadership of Nigerian Communities in South Africa has urged Nigerians living in the country to stop spreading false information capable of hurting relations between Nigeria and South Africa.

The President, Nigeria Union, South Africa, Adetola Olubajo, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on the telephone from Pretoria, South Africa on Saturday that some information used in the social media were false.

“The union investigated some information posted by some Nigerians in the social media and found them to be false.

“We caution Nigerians not to spread any kind of information which may turn out to be false. We urge them to wait for confirmation before using such news.


“It may affect relations between Nigeria and South Africa,” he said.

Mr Olubajo said that the South African police was cooperating with the union on the recent killing of Nigerians in that country.

“If our people send false information, it can jeopardise the on-going investigation by the police and collaboration between the union and authorities to ensure that justice is done in the case,” he said.

The President also advised Nigerians to avoid hate speech because the union was on top of the situation.

“The union investigates any information before sending out to Nigerians. We expect our people to be very cautious in this regard by ensuring that false information is not spread.

“We have branches in the nine provinces of South Africa and on the ground,” Adetola said.
