Shoprite is one of biggest retail stores in south Africa, possibly in Africa. They should show there concern and seriousness by closing there shops in south Africa for 3days.
They will counter loses but it will speak volume about there stand against xenophobic acts as well send laudable message to the perpetrators.

I'm presently staying at vereeniging ,south Africa. All Nigerians are on the run right now.being chase like bush meat by south Africa home affairs (immigration). on the height of the xenophobic attack, Nigerians and foreigners decided to team up so as to defend their life and properties. and because of this ,the south African police and immigration have decided to arrest all Nigerians and foreigners.the clamp down started as early as 5am today.breaking into peoples home and arresting them while still on bed.the arrest is still on going now and Nigerians are on the run. I've fled my room to avoid arrest. I'm hiding under an old rustic drum while I type right now.I have refugee permit ,but those police are arresting everyone, whether you have papers or not. will keep on updating .but if you don't see any update, then know that I've been caught and arrested

South Africa Embassy in Lagos is a joke especially when applying for a visit visa. if you don't know any agent that will bribe the corrupt visa officers @ molade Okoya,no visa 4 u. imagine an agent boosted of getting a Visa in 3days and did while genuine applicants wait 4 months and still get denied. It's even a standard dis days,an agent will tell SA Visa is "150k". Vfs should just kuku put"Agent fees" on their receipt. Naija is finished.

madam even if your paper is complete and genuine the south africa has the right to give you or deny you a visa so i dont understand why you are ranting if you read the rules and regulations on their site properly you see it there . Na wa ooo you were not even returned at the point of entry i have seen cases where people with genuine visa were denied entry at the point of entry so what is your case here .The fact remains entry into their country remains at the discretion of their immigration officials and embassy

I generally sympathetic to most foreigner s in s Africa, but nigerians are the worst honestly. the street I've grown up in has become a hell hole thanks to Nigerians. they come sell their drugs and turn woman unto prostitutes, their filthy and piss in the street like nothing( probably normal in Nigeria) throw their rubbish in the street turning it into a road like in nigeria, are loud and fight a lot. I've even seen 1 fight with a policemen. they come here to south Africa and think they can do whatever they like. now thanks to Nigerians the crime, drug addicts have become normal.
