i wasn't given any form to fill... was told it's online... Oleayo22: Congrats. Did you fill the form they gave you at the hospital and returned it to them there? If you did, then go to the nearest registry to you and apply. You pay there, I applied for expedited using my husband 's itinerary and picked it next day. |

Yes i did @hotstepper.... i have logged in but not sure if i am to apply for all or just birth registration and certificate Hotstepper: Ckngratulations! why dont u leave the dr's contact info for others who are interested in scarborough.
Did u recieve any package before you left the hospital that has info about documentation? |
Travel › Re: Giving Birth In Canada by Chayil18: 7:39pm On Mar 05, 2019 |
The doctors contact isn't required. You can walk in to the hospital and register. They have a list of doctors that accept cash patients. Betterstill, anyone interested in using the hospital should call directly, no nee to have an agent do that. The doctor on call will be the one to deliver you..... and they accept patients above 34 weeks. Hotstepper: Ckngratulations! why dont u leave the dr's contact info for others who are interested in scarborough.

From her msg, she said intend" and "about". Candybright: Have you written the English test, accessed your result and all that? Is your point up to the required point? Are you going to have delays due to certain things beyond you? Even the certification of result takes time atimes. If you can start up your PR asap and pursue it with full force, you may be able t9 get it and travel before delivery. But you know it's risky even though that may be your only guaranteed way out. Normal visa application is not guaranteed? |

Dear Etha11, A whole lot of things needs to be considered; such as: a. What stage of PR process are you ? b. Will the funds for delivery not affect your POF ? Since you are just 8 weeks gone, you can apply for the visa and just have it as a back-up plan (which is what i did). Although, your PR status will also influence the child's status if added but you really have nothing to loose with a back-up. Etha11: Dear All,
I have carefully and religiously followed the thread and must say a lot have been learnt from all your honest contributions.
However, my case is a bit different and will still appreciate your honest advise.
Just got married in Dec 2018 and all docs still have my name as I'm yet to do change of name. Me and hubby intend doing the Canadian PR and about to start the processing. Now, I'm 8weeks pregnant and a lil confused on which to do.
My questions pls:
1. Do I apply for tourist visa and deliver my baby in Canada and continue with the PR process afterwards ( Will my baby's status in anyway improve our chances)?
2. Do we still continue with the PR process and hope we get it before EDD in September? Is there any implication starting application with 2 fam member and increasing after childbirth?
3. Or proceed with the PR application and plan to give birth in USA?
I'm really confused. Please help. Thank you. |

Iamajoyfulmothe: Hello @chayil
Hope you're making headway with your enquiry
Kindly share more details on your POE experience plsssss. If you don't mind
