Spelling and grammatical errors- There’s a simple maths application to this; if you can’t proof a two-page document for yourself, how would you write a report or draft a proposal for a huge project?dis practically scrims “am unprofessional” to recruiters because it distorts their flow of reading, just like this sentences does.
Remove the log in your eye and all that... |
My dad would kill or die for his kids. And I know I would willingly kill and/or die for him. My dad is my Hero in every sense of the word. Love you Dad! |
aribasala I hail your knowledge! |
Amazing... The Odus seem to be some sort of early binary system. The stories about the odus descending from the sky strongly resonates with numerous other religions/cultures where deities descend from space... Are we really alone on earth? |
Goodbye Arseholenal... ![]()

Positive Things in Nigeria....By Messr Ikengawo 1:People are more IT-Savvy... Ikengawo: Someone who is using a personal computer is talking about a jeopordized economy. I left Nigeria in 1995. Nobody had a computer. Nobody had a phone. You're talking about bad signal today, when I was living in Nigeria there was no such a thing a signal unless you worked for the government. If you wanted a message relayed you would send someone on an errand like in the stone age.2:School Kids now Wear Socks Ikengawo: I remember kids trying to fight me and my siblings because we had socks. Everyone was skinning and weak, people could legitimately die of hungry. In todays nigeria that's not possible. Everything that's in the west is in Nigeria, except in an inferior quality but once upon a time non of those things were anywhere close to Nigeria.I'm shocked that the Nigerian Press dont report these GOOD things... Instead they have to publish such Negative and Inciting stories like: Youth Unemployment at 75% and rising Public funds embezzlement in the Oil Sector (Up to 5 billion dollars) Boko haram bombing the living shyt out of random people Nigeria now being the Kidnap capital of the world(As rated by an insurance body) Petrol being sold at #250 in country that is the 8th largest Oil producer in the world... Gangs of Armed Robbers shooting up the Feds for fun And the Rise of the Private Jet elite -including Pastrorpreneurs and Pilot Governors THE NIGERIAN PRESS SHOULD BE SHOT....I MEAN HOW CAN THEY REPORT SUCH NEGATIVE THINGS? ![]() |
I'm sure the Nigerian Press would report good things about Nigeria..... ......If there were good things to report about Nigeria! |
Damn... This kind of pay is what made 60 year old Yakubu claim he was 25, 40 year old Taye taiwo claim he was 24, and ex-policeman Julius Aghahowa claim he was 19.. Simply put, Football money is the Sh1t (Pun intended) I should have been a footballer Damn... |
coogar: america is a 3rd world country -But the waiting lists on the NHS can sometimes stretch for years bruv...you know that.. You know that private healthcare schemes like BUPA aint free... |
taharqa: I just cant understand how any one would even attempt justifying this. What if the hospital did not have the drugs to treat this woman - and had to purchase them? What if the doctor had no liquid cash to purchase said drugs? What if the doctor had just used his last cash to treat a previous patient on credit? What if - just that day, another patient ran off without paying after being treated on credit? It is easy to say the right things when removed from a situation, but can you actually follow up your words with actions in a similar scenario? And even if you can, do you expect everyone to do the same? |
thegoodjoehunt:Bruv I feel your pain...but this is the reality of the hell that is Nigeria - No paddy for jungle The levels of hardship in Nigeria have forced people to put survival ahead of conscience - and can we really argue with that? In a sane society, this doctor should be stripped of his license...BUT is Nigeria a sane society? |
frosbel: Medical Council of New ZealandNew Zealand is a country where the rule of law WORKS You cant compare New Zealand to a country like Nigeria The Government has failed the populace, and as such it is up to each man to protect his own interests - even at the expense of the next man's It is sad...but it is true... In Nigeria, you are compelled to look out for Number 1 - Yourself... |
aribisala0: The incident is still raw and emotions high so people will blame doctors and hospitals but that is an alibi. If we want hospitals to treat such cases and we are asked to all pay 1000 naira a month to a fund covering the hospitals would we pay?EXACTLY |
frosbel: You are a dunce !!!Let me reiterate - This hospital was not OBLIGED to save this woman's life. All medical aid requires some sort of funding... If this was a Government hospital - I would be Irate, because the appropriate care has already been paid for... A private hospital is a BUSINESS offering medical services - Saving the woman would have been nice, but there is no OBLIGATION without PAYMENT |
frosbel: Yes , I will save a life every time, all the time.Ahhh but in the UK, healthcare viz a viz the NHS is PAID FOR by the tax-payers.... Private hospitals can treat emergency cases on credit because the A: Law works - and the Law can get their pay for them and, B:They pay a lot of insurance Dont ever compare the Nigerian healthcare system to the UK's |
I cannot fault the hospital for refusing this woman treatment - It is a PRIVATE hospital run first and foremost as a business... The doctor is in a lose-lose situation - If he treated her and she refused to pay afterwards...he loses, when he doesnt treat her and she dies - he is seen as a bastard. Its a real shame but that is the reality on ground in our disgusting country- It is a jungle where only the strong and/or rich survive... |
Hope things click this weekend... I'm too busy watching England V the All-Blacks today to fully monitor my progress... |
