2- nightingale sanitary towel it's in a blue pack of 5 pieces it's to put underneath you to absorb all fluid you may leak out.
3- a sterile container
4- vest is usually worn underneath the regular clothes
Note it's preferable to buy a vest with a butterfly neck than the one with just ordinary neck.

5- spirit for cleaning cord

Those are the requirements in the GH I registered too... You are not too early as I registered at 14weeks... The last two tests are; VDRL and Urinalysis... All the tests were carried out in the hospital laboratory... One pint of blood was collected frm my DH after screening it...

The difference is that VD is 25k while CS is 63k (excluding charges for drugs)... You'll pay 10k for registration/orientation, 4 small books, 2 bottles of cold-pressed coconut oil and booking... You can see the doctors anytime; I saw the docs 4 times before 12weeks... Then, if I cough or sneeze, I'll go to the hospital... You know *firsttimethings* *Lol*

Lest I forget, vagina swab was carried out to take sample of our discharge on the first visit... We were told that only peeps with issues will be contacted when the results are out... This test is free for first timers...

Cheeketo no fear that long metal( it's not metal sef) is if you want to do TVs, transvaginal scan! Which is not necessary. You may ask them to do the Doppler scan instead which is done on top your stomach by applying gel and rubbing the scan stick on your Tommy! Very less invasive than the TVs.

Depending on how many weeks you are you may be giving your first tetanus shot,

Generally the below will be done

Blood will be drawn for testing

Urine will be collected

BP checked

Weight and height

Lecture on Pregnancy symptoms and dos and don't.

Medication may also be given

When about to extract blood for test, my acute fear of needles gave me away . And they were like, madam, na So you go do for that bed wey dey that room so-pointing at delivery suite? Make una check duty roster who and who dey duty that week of her EDD ooo make the person start to prepare for drama ooo.... Me I just weak but in my mind am like I will surprise You people that day with super strength and composure!

Blocked nostrils and feeling cold. Can't remember when last I felt cold in the last 8months or so.....So cold last night I couldn't go for my brisk walking.

@jazzyjazz, as long as the fibroid is small, it might be insignificant and might not even grow.
Mine was small and didnt grow. But i didnt experience much pains.
But i was always doing a scan to be sure all is well.

As for your job ish, if you're social media savvy, let me know so i'll link you up with a lady who needs people to work with her.
It's what i do and i don't step a foot out of the house. All my work is done from home and it really helped me in my pregnancy.

If you're not, then look for easy ways to make money from home. Make research on small businesses that won't strain you. Its rare to see a company employ a pregnant woman.

And I thought they said second trimester was the easiest. Hmmmmm! I tire o!!!

Worst part is this gradual depression that's creeping in. I don find work tire since I left my last job in April, but none is forthcoming. Infact I never even get invite to interview sef and dh is getting worried. For 3years that we dated b4 marriage, I've never been jobless longer than 1 month! It's been 4 months now and I still de house. E de worry me seriously and I get agitated and upset whenever dh brings up the issue as I sometimes blame myself for being jobless! Aand no one would definitely want to employ a pregnant woman in this Abuja. 
I no even know wetin to do again! 

And then at my 7week scan, I was there is a 3.9 x 3.3cm anterior intramural fibroid. With tears I asked dr how bad it is, and he saaid it's not bad that only thing is I'll sometimes feel pain. Hmm! I was not worried abt it b4 bt I find myself worrying abt it so much lately because I remember in 2013 when I had my apendix surgery where I almost died, there was a girl who had fibroid, Hmmmm! Na only God save her o!!!

Basically, I don't know what to do with myself. I need a job or at least something that will keep be busy regularly. 

I just tire!!!!

2mrw will make us 15weeks!

just keep an open mind teammie, still vomit once in a while too, but its different frm 1st trimester sha, pele, u will be fine.

Well, though there may be a slight cause for concern but needless worrying too much about it now. You may be fortunate and the pregnancy weight doesn t disturb at all. Why start now to worry about something that may not happen? If it actually does disturb, there will be a way out for you. When you get that bridge, you will cross it.

You tried o. Our assembly was in June and i didnt cook nathing cus it was just me and dh. I was even overfed with so many offers of food. Dont over work yourself abeg.

Swthrt we are almost in d same boat. First all i craved n had was tea, pap n yoghurt den dis serious hunger pangs now. I think u are perfectly ok. Am yet 2 strt ANC too, when is ur due date pls?

How far along are you?
I'd say the hunger is normal. My ms stopped at 11weeks but by week 13, I started vomiting once a day. I'm now 14 weeks though and still vomiting once every day.

And the hungeer is out of the world. I can't eat any food thaats too serious except pap, golden morn, bread & tea, pringles, roasted corn, fried Irish potato (chips), fried yam (without sauce or stew). And I must eat every 2hours or else, it'll be like I want to vomit and faint.

So I guess it's normal, just always make sure you have something edible around just in case
