For as many that had been asking me the question of what section of the haulage is better venture into. Read this breaking news:

This implies:

1. There will no job for at least 40 trailers (Flat bed) up-country, that is 40 trailers will not have enough job going outside Lagos State.

2. The 40 trailers (Flat bed) will join the league of trailers jostling for local jobs

3. There will be too many trucks (Flat bed) competing for too many little local job

4. The freight rate for (Flat bed) will reduce drastically for both local and up-country job

5. The cost of trailer (Flat bed) will reduce because many might not buying it.

6. There will be a lot of shift to other section of haulage

Then what is way out?

Will you rather do business with Tipper trailer then...tractor heads are welcome into tipping trailers.

Joyconnect: 1. Please does anyone know the current prices of building materials in Port-Harcourt? Precisely , cost of a ton of reinforcement bars eg Y8,Y10, Y12,Y16,Y20, Y25, 30Ton of granite, 3/8 gravel/sand, 20Ton of sand. a bag of cement, 2x2 timber,2x3,2x4,3x4 and bag of nail etc.
2. Why would an engineer specify Y20 and Y25 in his structural design when no one has so far come up with a price for these steel bars?Does it means that we do not have these grade of steel bars in the market?
3. Please how many lengths of these Y8,Y10, Y12,Y16,Y20, Y25 are in a Ton each.
4. Cost of labour per day eg, labourer, capenter, mason, iron bender , cost per day of hiring a concrete mixing machine, poker vibrator etc.
