Regrettable this happened, i hv run PoD services faced with so much challenges, running part payment too with its challenges.

I do it all alone, i lease truck when i can not afford all at same time, i do my delivery myself, workload smtimes draw back delivery or smtimes fail. My respect and understanding Engineer or Home owners that know me well will confirm these,

because they know the nature of my delivery they give me 3-4days delivery period so as to bridge the gap.

The Op i hv worked for several time, i know him despite we hv not meet one on one, i am not annoy by is action here, but he played a script in which is understandable.

I did not tanished my image, its just a failed delivery which can easily be taking care of. It can happen to any contractor.

Op saying he do not mind destroying all i hv built here made a big mistake. What i build here is the grace of God @ work, i hv not short any1 delivery, i expose the wrong supplies, so many are happy this happened but ... Those saying is he the only supplier on Nairaland, note its grace. If you can't do what i do, can't u for God sake be yourself? All those calling me ungodly names thank you so much.

Time and value go together. @checkitaut. You need to know that. People like you make cause so many to loose faith in patronizing people on this forum. You did same to someone working for me months ago and I didn’t believe him until I saw the so many proof. If there were to be a review section on this forum, I will rate you negative if possible. Experience has taught me that most services providers on Nairaland care little about their reputation. It is bad and may continue to be so even in the near future.

MY EXPERIENCE


Some months ago, I contacted someone (name withheld but MOST be disclosed later) to supply me LONG SPAN ROOFING SHEETS of 0.45MM. The sheets were supplied as agreed.

His staffs also roofed the house as agreed. I was happy and TAUGHT that Nairaland has helped to cut off GREEDY ALUMINUM COMPANIES.

Little did I know that it was a case of penny wise pound foolish.

Within ONE MONTH of the roofing of the house, I discovered that several places were leaking water. I had to engage someone to seal the holes. It turns out to be a case of one week one trouble.

I promptly confronted the service provider to express my dissatisfaction with the services he rendered. He promised to visit the site to assess the extent of the leakage and proffer solution. I NEVER held from him till date

This led me to investigate the MM of the sheets to determine if the actual MM was supplied. It was a FRAUD. The sheets supplied were below .45MM agreed to.

As at today, I have taken steps to seal every nail on the roofing sheets and equally seal ever holes. Experts have however told me that as time goes on the sheets will give way. It is a disaster waiting to happen.

Interestingly, the service provider has a thread that has been active for more than 5 years...He is a man of reputation you may say.


I thought of going to the thread to pour out my lamentation but I did not. However, I have removed my feedback on the services he rendered to me from the thread.

My people, MOST of them are looking for ways to cut corners and enrich themselves at your detriment. SHINE YOUR EYE

I will post the piteous state of the house that was roofed not more than 6 months ago.

It is a disaster. I will add it to my archives as one of my mistakes in my life journey.

Sorry about the sad story, If its metrocopo u will experience such with low guage its simple due to transportation from point of load to delivery. I don't know the person but tell him to correct it not climbing untop of the roofing but inside d ceiling.

But know this , at the point when I needed the sand delivery and you failed me, I had to source for funds elsewhere.. and lost the trust of the client ...

And at the point where you failed in delivering the granite, I almost lost the job, as the client felt I wasnt taking his job seriously..

It's really not a matter of God's grace or not... It's a matter of making your yes mean yes...

It has being taking to Granite delivery. i lost d sand to IKate Suppliers so never worry you get d delivery as promised.

i can not be push to mention name of people here that is owing me not 2yrs not 5yrs. God still hv their heart smday i will get my money

Good evening all, i was informed of several post from a friend here about Segzy post. Yes i hv never d9 u paid me oof service wish is yet to be delivered. is a pity d urgly incident occurred anyway. We left Abeokuta with 2trucks of 30tons load going to Eng Samuel's site @Oko afon. we access tru Oshodi, because Atan terrible state of road, we encounter a gridlock at Toyota to Cele which made a experted nite delivery a day time delivery. Most of d truck like nite due to VIO, FRSC & LASMAN in lagos to aviod fall victims to law.
The 2trucks where not mine i lease it. D driver was not my staff, but they fall in d hands of FRSC corp each ticket was charge almost 90keach.no speed limit, no driver license, no fire..., no xtra tyres etc. what i dod waa to inform him. is a big challenge 2tricks. i hv disappointed no doubt but is never my making.
i was out of cash i told u on call that even N1k i dont hv thinking to deliver & get bal. Anyway i know Segzy14 very well, what you did is not of u, but...no wahala. Tell me what u want you said i shld refund. the running cost of d delivery is above N340k. i will refund if u insist, i will deliver if u want, wish ever way.

Professionals in the house. Please I need your advice urgently. I have just plastered a duplex and I did a decking or slab for my water tank on top of the roof. I just realized during the heavy rain that the slab or decking where we have water tank on it is leaking. I see water finding their way from the water slab to the wall inside. Although my plumber has assured that he will fix everything but I am considering doing a scaffolding and put my tank on it. So I want to know if it is possible to fix the slab as claimed by plumber I should just go ahead and do the scaffolding. I was told that slab will always leak even if it is not now, it will leak later

Use waterproof cement to floor with tiles slope to floor drains, use flout switch. scaffolding is the best but also has its danger if not well done.
