PART TWO

It started one night in September. Every midnight I hear what sounds like someone dancing or walking on my rooftop. I'll go out and discover there's nothing. It gradually progressed into hearing popping sounds out of no where whenever I'm alone. I will be drinking a bottle water I'll hear "PAP".Watching Tv same thing.

Then I started what sounds like a giant pacing back and forth every morning from about 1 am. I can literally feel the ground shake as it paces up and down. Everyday. When I have visitors it never happens, only when alone. I noticed too the whole dogs in the entire compound keeps barking two minutes before these phenomenom happen

I was seconds for for mental breakdown, was near going crazy, until one night when I mistakenly played gospel music in my tab and it ceased. I noticed when ever Iplay songs praising God it stops.

I gave my life to Christ when I started fleeing the house to sleep at hotels. There I noticed i was getting the static electrical interfence on the TV like I was at home. It got worse. I could not sleep for weeks because of this. Confused and stressed I got on my knees in tears and asked God for help.

Beloveth. Every human being needs to experience the presence of God, I will not attempt describing that feeling because it is beyond comprehension. I realised for the first time what the majority of humanity is missing out on by the way and manner God responds to our prayers. This is no exaggeration. It got to a point I began using Gods power just for the fun of it. I felt so powerful I was almost getting arrogant and cocky.

One instance, I heard the familiar barks and footsteps during the day, I peered through the window of my room to see up to 8 or 10 birds perched on the roof of everybuilding, looking intently at me. I got on my knees and asked God to deploy his Special Forces Angels (yes i used that term) :

" Dear God they have again o. Shey you can see them, please send your Angels, special forces Angels to descend on my house"

I opened my and immediatelyI felt this electrically charged force field hover over me. Immediately the birds will take off. With my eyes opened I said God, they are running, tell your Angels not to allow them escape. Immediately I said that the birds started acreaming in flight.

No this is not conjured up theatrics. It happens exactly. I felt so powerful. I notice I have a question for God and write it down on a sheet of paper. God will reply in mysterious ways. I can open the bible and the first verse my eyes falls on will be a verse addressing the exact question I asked. Sometimes through TV.

Never in my life have i experienced being so loved. I grew up with my dad so I never experienced that motherly love. With GOD I felt what it feels like to be loved. God loves us and will do things for us the human might has yet conceived. We gravitate towards the sinful nature of Satan because that is all we have ever known. He blinds us from experiencing God by distracting us with sex, money, fame, wealth etc. God is not a show off God. If he did then we will never love God from our heart, we will have no choice than to be enamoured to his incomprehensible glory and joy. The feeling is a million times more euphoric than crack cocain.

Religion / My Two Months Physical And Spiritual Battle With Witches And Demons by Chelseafan99: 2:03am On Nov 09, 2017
War was declared on me three years ago and I only got to know about three months ago. I consider myself the luckiest man that ever lived and I urge you reading this now to take every word i say serious.I will not sugarcoat what I'm about to say.I hope someone gets impacted.

It's 2015. I was at the apex of my life. A multi millionaire. Made a ton of money hustling. Anything I touch seem to turn into gold. With this me found wealth came lots of friends. Naturally benevolent I had no problem giving money to strangers. With life this good who needed God? Never went to church. Didn even have a bible. My life revolved around woman, getting high, lodging in the most expensive hotels. I was a STAR and I loved the attention it was getting.

But I was a naive fool.

Theres one thing about money people don't understand. As far as Nigeria is concerned there are two facts about wealth one cannot run away from.

1. If you are poor your life is in danger. Poverty is a danger in itself. One is just a sickness away from death.

2. If you become successful and rich your life is in greater danger. You will be hated just for being sucessful. You will have enemies without you realising it.The people you help financially are the ones you need to run away from. They will do what it takes to bring you down so they can feel better about themselves. It is only a matter of time before the opportunity to strike comes.

It didn't have to wait long to receive the first blow.

Had an altercation with a friend, ended up getting beaten up right by the road side. My phone smashed. Clothes torn. Who was this person? One of the persons i have rendrered help the most

An hour later I got home to meet fetish objects, in the form of my shoe tied with razor blade and and rope at my door step. Tried getting in via the back door, met the other leg in the same fetish looking stuff. Weeks later my life turned upside down. I started having terrible dreams of being chased by snakes. My finances collapsed. Half my properties were taken away over u paid depths. My gas exploded, my generators kept having issues., I developed this horrible smell that made people keep their distance. My car keys dissapeared without a trace for 3 days and miraculously appeared. Someone took my car keys for bewitchement , how do I know? I started having dreams if being in an accident. Next morning a mysterious razor Sharp mark was made on my dashboard.

By the way, in my nativity I had reconciled with these guys I had an alteraction with. On one faithful day I came home unexpectedly to find my friend in my room searching for something. When I opened the door he was visibly startled at my unexpected return.

On this faithful day another altercation, that night I received a call from the dude sounding all nice and asking if I was in. Sure I said. No so one had the call ended that I was overcame with an unsettling feeling. I left the house and stayed at an adjacent building. Dude came with three other guys, he went in while the others stayed outside. He called again to tell me he was at my door. I asked if he came with a nobody, he vowed he didn't. I needed no further confirmation. Called a friend asking to come over. I took another route that led to the main road thinking they were gone. Lo and behold walking with me was this dude. Walking side by side with me yet for some reason he could not see me.

Things came to a head when one one faithful morning, driving out of my gate I was hit by another car, completely smashing my fender. Needless to say my going out was cancelled. I was visited by someone from MFM who had a message from God for me an hour after the incident. She said God told her to tell me an event will happen today but I should not worry. People have earmarked that day to spill my blood hence it's necessary I do not step out of the house.

I moved out..went To stay with a friend where i was to endure 8 months of humiliation. My property was shared amongst people. It was free for all for them.

August 2016

I made a comeback, bigger than ever bigger. Never had I endured so much success. I went back to the hood. Now I a someone who doesn't live my life basedmob past events. Friends we were, once again here I am finding it extremely difficult to remain cold in the face of people in dire need of help. My generosity this time was off the roof.
........In February of this year (2017) I finally started thinking long term. Wanted to settle down and get serious with a girl so I rented a duplex at one of the plushest estate in town. In excitement i shared this good news with my friends. Their responses debt a chill down my spine.

Me : Hey sup,how far. I just move into an apartment o. A duplex.

Olaitan : Silence.

Me : Sup how far.... sending pics to your whatsapp.

Olaintan : Hmmm, when.. ok na , no wahala.

WTF !!!!!!?

Now thats just one of numerous. Of all those I shared this with, only ONE gave some semblance of congratulations.

I found the coldness in the reception I got for moving into a duplex.

By May my chats with my friends started getting really bizarre. They will out of the blue send me a picture of a lizard and say nothing else. This happened on numerous occasions. After a while I started noticing "patterns". Whenever I receive these odd pictures the feel this heavy dark sensation all about me. I get into fights, things go awry. After praying that sensation cools off. They send again and the same circle. Finding it too bizzare I blocked them.

They resort to calling. Out of the blue they call just to say hi. Minutes after that dark feeling again. At this point I wasn't even trying to make sense of it. I blocked all their numbers. When I do they call me with numbers I do not realise. Now I stopped picking calls with number I do not recognize.

August 2017
.

It's OFFICIAL. I am at WAR. I have been fighting a combine team of witches and demons for two months, and I have pictorial proof.

The OP is right. Let's be candid , Chimananda is one of Nigeria's greatest academic export, on per with Wole Soyinka IMO. It is beneath her to write a piece like that. But thenn i think Trump is racist. There are a myriad of ways to express opinions but writing a piece making fun of the Presidents Wife. The jab at the kid Baron was a tard too far.

If it's rented, that means an exchange took place right? You gave your money and keys were given to you, granting you the spiritual and earthly rights occupy that house.

Lolzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Oh God, i want to sleep in your room tonite.

The Holy Spirit says, 'To whom you yield yourself to, you become a servant and you'll obey'. What are you yielding to?

Satan can throw you out of your house? Who is that demon? What? With fire in your mouth? with power and authority in your words? With the blood of sprinkling available to you?

Hebrews 2:8

It says that God made them “rulers over all things”; this clearly includes everything...

Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Ummm..here's the thing. I am a full grown adult not a baby. I am not day dreaming. This is not a delusion, this is real life. You will faint with fright if God should open your spiritual eyes to see the evil that trails each and every one of us. It stopping after I pray doesn't mean it won't come back. They do come back. Religion / HELP : Paranormal Activity In My House. Should I Move Out? by Chelseafan99: 9:21pm On Oct 05, 2017
For some time I have been experiencing a strange phenomena that has quite frankly made me to sleep morein Hotel than my house. Everynight with clockwise precision I hear footsteps pacing round my house. When I say footsteps I mean something heavy enough I actually feel the ground under my feet vibrate slightly. It goes round and round and round for hours sometimes. When this happens the whole dogs in the neighbourhood start barking uncontrollably. On some occasions in sounds like a giant landing hard on the floor then pacing back and forth bleating like a goat. Even though I'm indoors I actually hear it as it marchesround my house.

Out of fright I go on my knees and pray with my eyes open. There are times I get so scared I actually find it hard going on my knees to pray..I stay rooted but I noticed the moment I pray the dogs stop backing and it stops. I live In a duplex with my room upstairs. When I go to my room I start hearing the sounds of something on my rooftop. This is accompanied with the screech of an owl. At first I dismissed this as a bird but the frequency it happens made me distant that idea. Morning after noon everyday the a the sounds on my roof. Again immediately I pray it stops, after a couple of hours It starts again. I also catch a faint mist out of the corner of my eyes that dissipates within seconds.

Lastly, when I'm hope I hear popping sounds from seemingly no where. Here is the thing, every time i pray, and I mean every time %100 when I pray, it stops immediately. It's not gradual but an immediate stop. I also observe that whenever I play gospel songs I do not experience the phenomenon.

Now I am not naive. I know Damn this is a spiritual manifestation. I also belief in the power of prayers hence I'm not as spooked as many will be in my shoes. There is no force greater than prayer, even the bible says the darkness comprehended not the light. When I sometimes pray completely nude. And when singing praise I actually lie flat on the floor rather than kneel or stand. Pray works. Thing is its gotten to the point I am becoming tired of this . As I type these words I've packed up my bag, sleeping in a hotel tonight, not because of fright or fear, but because its exhausting the incomvenience and stress these events brings to bear. I'm thinking of moving out finally. Any idea what i should do?
Religion / The Misconception People Have About God And How God Delivered Me. by Chelseafan99: 2:08am On Sep 20, 2017
Going to church was never really my thing. As a child we were spanked for going to church late or refusing to go, as a result I came to see the church as a place to avoid.

I had an altercation with a friend who decided to take it to the extremes. After the fight I did not go home straight range I went to a bar to cool off. While at the bar I received a call from the guy I had a fight with. When I answered the call there was a 5 seconds pause before the call dropped.. Sensing something amiss I rushed home. On getting home I found two fetish objects on my doorstep. One of my slippers have been cut with a blade and a rope tied to it and dropped neatly on my doorstep. I have two doors and decided to use the back door, to my horror I found the same object.

I felt uneasy so I called a pastor I had met just weeks before and told him everything. But to my disgust he was more interested in converting me to his church and having me pay seed offerings than anything else. That week went pretty uneventful and i quickly forgot about it.

Trouble started a week later. I started having vivid bad dreams about being chased by a snake almost on a daily basis. There was this atmosphere of negativity in my house as everything starts falling apart. My gas exploded, my finances went awry, I incured so much debt I began running away from home. I drove home one day and as in turned off the ignition my car key disappeared. For three days I searched and searched. 3 days later I found my car key nestled right on my front seat. Then my AC caught fire, it escalated everyday. Then I developed this bad breath. It was so bad with I days everyone began keeping their distance. Whoever comes to my house will feel like throwing up. But the worst was yet to come.

Real terror started when every night at about 1am or thereabout I will be awakened to the sound of footsteps going round my house outside. Now this isn't like some footsteps. This felt like a giant walking. I could feel the ground shake under its weight. Whatever this thing was was bleating like a goat. The dog's puppets in my neighbours house upstairs will start crying also.EVERYDAY, every night. Now all these while I refused praying. One day this feeling of despair and darkness felt so bad it felt like I was suffocating under the yoke of darkness. I tried to sleep but could not, I had this overwhelming urge to get out of the house. Now it so happened there was a church at the back of my house having a vigil. I drove to the church, parked out and slept. Now whatever that thing was that was marching round my house everyday worked with clockwise precision. At a exactly am, but this time it was different, because God blotted out the memory from me until a week or two later, of not I'm not sure I could have handled what happened next. I might have gone MAD.

I remembered this even two weeks after it happened and till this day I find myself grasping for air when it comes to mind. Shows you how terrifying an ordeal it was.

On this day I felt this strong urge to pray. The urge was so strong I could not escape it. So I went on my knees and prayed for 1 minute. I remember closing my eyes to sleep and then abruptly I was awakened in an instant. When people sleep we wake up gradually. This was instant. I felt a ringing in my ear, like something bounced off me.

I slept again, i was deep in sleep. In my slumber I saw/felt some giant being burst into my living room. It's hard to describe in words, I'll do my best to illustrate what transpired. Right there in my bed I could sense this being in my living room. I could sense it was angry, angry is a misnomer, it was in RAGE. Right their in my bed my spirit stood up out of sheer terror. My SPIRIT. My body was in bed sleeping but my spirit sat up in fear. I was paralysed with fear. Then this thing, whatever it was, like the vortex of a hurricane burst into my room. This angry being in the twinkle of an eye rushed towards me and jacked me up the way a grown man will Jack a 2 months old baby. I was powerless. And then all of a sudden it dropped me out of fright and fled like a tornado out of my house. I remember vividly well falling ever so gently back in my bed. Then there was blackout...until two weeks later, when I remembered what happened I developed PTSD for days. Iw as frightened.

This experience changed my life,In my sin God was merciful and protective. It didn't matter to him the fact that I have not stepped Into a church in 3 years. It didn't matter to him i did not even own a bible. As a sinner he gave me a chance, he saved me. Every since my life has never been the same. To this day I come under spiritual attack almost on a daily basis, but because I pray I only see their attacks in the dream. They cannot manifest in the physical any ore because I pray. The days i dont pray they make the most of it by tryjng to make me go to a club or go on a drinking binge to help loosen my guard so i dont ha e to pray. They hate prayers with such passion I do not understand it myself.

Exactly, where is the mother of the baby?

If I am to guess partying up. Celebrating with her friends her new found freedom and a N400,000 windfall. I think I may have been scammed. But I don't really care. Her mother epitomizes the debauchery and filth that has taken over traditional values and the sacredness of being a mother.

Oh boy. Your responses smacks of ignorance. Big ignorance. What I did today is what I should have done long ago. You never bothered asking what she did and the circumstances, instead you jump the gun and start spewing crap. These are facts you should consider :

1. No real mother will pack her bag on a whim with elation and relief because of an angry outburst.
2.Since yesterday She'd deliberately provoke me, forcing my response, then she says should I leave her for you? C'mon. That bitch was begging to leave.
3. She is not mygirlfriend, she has a boyfriend. We are not dating. The circumstances surrounding her coming to my house is based on the fact that the stupid bitch for one full year dumped the baby with some local women where she was to pay N10k monthly.
4. She spent one year partying, leaving the baby to her fate.

5. Just last week she lied she was coming to see me with her mom, we need to talk. I said fine, I'm home. An hour later she calls saying I should open the gate she is outside. I did, but lo nd behold she was no where to be found. Instead I saw her mom. Hmmm

Twenty minutes later, you have her mom opening up to me, that the child has been at some foster care in owerri, They cannot afford the fee bladabla. I was neyond mortified. An hour later I wired N400,000 TO her account for them to get my baby out.

They come back 48 hours later with a baby looking mmalnourished and stunted.Next day I spent another N100k buying stuffs and all she needs to regain her health.

From the day they brought her back the so called mom had hardly stayed home. The Day she does we have her and her sister playing mind games, looking for a way out. Provoking me to take action. You see, they wanted to leave without guilt hanging over their head. The moment finally came when I had had enough of the I crap and told her its like you will leave. I drove out to get fuel. When I came back theyr bags were already outside. They never looked so happy. They wanted out with a narrative vilifying me.

So before you spew no sense out if ignorance, answer this. What sane girl dumps her baby in a local traditional care in a village in Owerri. Refuses to pay up, not even once, never shows up to check on her, never caring about her wellbeing. To see again I practically had to pay them nearly half a million you dimwit.

Lastly if you took your time to read through my post you will where I said for the night. The stupid bitch left about 4 hours ago. I already have a nanny coming tomorrow morning. My thread was about knowing what to do tonight, but of course you, hair trigger alert dimwit like you never bother getting facts before spewing crap. Nonsense.

Romance / Advise Needed. by Chelseafan99: 11:46pm On Aug 30, 2017
So I have this girl who gave birth a year. Now we not dating even before she gave birth. Now there are challenges and she can no longer cater for rhe child. Her mom came to my house a week ago, teary eyed, saying her daughter left the baby with a woman who agreed to take care of her for a monthly payment of N10,000.

Now of course I am the father, I was stunned. Cos all along she told me the baby was with her sister in Owerri. I transferred N400,000 to her account and offered her to bring the baby here, rather than languish with some local foster care.

Two days later there they were. The mom and baby..the effect of poor nutrition was evident. I was beyond pissed.

Now it so happened that I was painting my house on that very day. So I lodged them in a Hotel close by while we allow the paints to dry. After paying the bills I have her N10k. The next day she complained bout money I sent her N20k. In three days I sent her 45k. Without asking her she brought some list as evidence of how she spent the money.

So today I was rudely awakened from sleep by the girl. She said my number was switched off, hence she came. The paints are dry. So we got into the car to the Hotel to get the baby. All this while shes been with her sister of maybe 15 to 17 years.

I live in a one bedroom duplex with my room upstairs and living room downstairs. Soon as we got home she and her little house help went straight to my room
To watch DSTV. An hour later she came downstairs saying shes is hungry. So I drove out to buy fast food.

1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours......little House help will not leave my bed. I needed to shower and was furious I had to tell my girl to tell her House help to get d Bleep off my bed, I wanna shower.

I drove out for an appointment, came in late (40 minutes ago as of this writing). She opened the door for me while I turned on the generator. So I walk into my house. Kitchen empty. Disappointed I decided to go to bed. But guess what. Her House help is on my bed. In a nutshell I have to sleep on my couch.

Now I know what to do, but in the event I might be overreacting, I need your input on this
Politics / The United States Intensifies Its Surveillance Activities On Nigeria Via Its Pro by Chelseafan99: 2:17am On Jul 29, 2017
The United States yesterday announced its intention to build two new surveillance facilities in Cameroon and continue to provide “multi-faceted” support to the Cameroonian army to tackle Boko Haram. Just days before, the U.S embassy said the American military will begin training Cameroonian army units.

Folks, the import of this latest development has far reaching consequences. While we as a nation is distracted, the encirclenent of Nigeria is being enhanced by surveillance/intelligence bases in the three countries bordering Nigeria on a scale that borders on ridiculous.

I’m still having a hard time figuring out how the United States, the self professed bastion of democratic governance, the country with the “Leahy Law” that prohibits the U.S Defence Department from providing assistance to any country that is not democratic, that violates human rights, will consistently offer military assistance to Cameroon, the country not at war with Boko Haram , a country with a 41 year dictatorship, even when the request was not expressly requested.

But instead chooses to maligne Nigeria, the world’s 4th largest democracy. A country who’s military has been the bastion of democracy in the region. The country who even under military dictatorship deployed its military to two ECOWAS countries to drive out coup plotters and restore democratic rule, spending $10 billion of Nigeria’s very own money and the blood of its soldiers to return democratic governance. All this done without applause or recognition by the United Nations.

The United States had for the last 5 years done all it can to prevent the Nigerian armed forces from getting its hands on high quality weaponry. The Obama/Clinton coalition of saboteurs spearheaded this effort. With the new Trump administration there was hope for Nigeria when US President Donald Trump finally signed off on a $600 million deal to sell Nigeria the much needed 12 Super Tucano aircraft, an aircraft with reconnaissance/ surveillance and attack capabilities,a much needed cost effective high performance aircraft suited for Counter Insurgency warfare.

Foreign Affairs / 14 African Countries Forced By France To Pay Colonial Tax. by Chelseafan99: 4:55am On Apr 12, 2016
Did you know many African countries continue to pay colonial tax to France since their independence till today!

When Sékou Touré of Guinea decided in 1958 to get out of french colonial empire, and opted for the country independence, the french colonial elite in Paris got so furious, and in a historic act of fury the french administration in Guinea destroyed everything in the country which represented what they called the benefits from french colonization.

Three thousand French left the country, taking all their property and destroying anything that which could not be moved: schools, nurseries, public administration buildings were crumbled; cars, books, medicine, research institute instruments, tractors were crushed and sabotaged; horses, cows in the farms were killed, and food in warehouses were burned or poisoned.

The purpose of this outrageous act was to send a clear message to all other colonies that the consequences for rejecting France would be very high.

Slowly fear spread trough the african elite, and none after the Guinea events ever found the courage to follow the example of Sékou Touré, whose slogan was “We prefer freedom in poverty to opulence in slavery.”

Sylvanus Olympio, the first president of the Republic of Togo, a tiny country in west Africa, found a middle ground solution with the French.
He didn’t want his country to continue to be a french dominion, therefore he refused to sign the colonisation continuation pact De Gaule proposed, but agree to pay an annual debt to France for the so called benefits Togo got from french colonization.

It was the only conditions for the French not to destroy the country before leaving. However, the amount estimated by France was so big that the reimbursement of the so called “colonial debt” was close to 40% of the country budget in 1963.

The financial situation of the newly independent Togo was very unstable, so in order to get out the situation, Olympio decided to get out the french colonial money FCFA (the franc for french african colonies), and issue the country own currency.

On January 13, 1963, three days after he started printing his country own currency, a squad of illiterate soldiers backed by France killed the first elected president of newly independent Africa. Olympio was killed by an ex French Foreign Legionnaire army sergeant called Etienne Gnassingbe who supposedly received a bounty of $612 from the local French embassy for the hit man job.

Olympio’s dream was to build an independent and self-sufficient and self-reliant country. But the French didn’t like the idea.

On June 30, 1962, Modiba Keita , the first president of the Republic of Mali, decided to withdraw from the french colonial currency FCFA which was imposed on 12 newly independent African countries. For the Malian president, who was leaning more to a socialist economy, it was clear that colonisation continuation pact with France was a trap, a burden for the country development.

On November 19, 1968, like, Olympio, Keita will be the victim of a coup carried out by another ex French Foreign legionnaire, the Lieutenant Moussa Traoré.

In fact during that turbulent period of African fighting to liberate themselves from European colonization, France would repeatedly use many ex Foreign legionnaires to carry out coups against elected presidents:

– On January 1st, 1966, Jean-Bédel Bokassa, an ex french foreign legionnaire, carried a coup against David Dacko, the first President of the Central African Republic.
– On January 3, 1966, Maurice Yaméogo, the first President of the Republic of Upper Volta, now called Burkina Faso, was victim of a coup carried by Aboubacar Sangoulé Lamizana, an ex French legionnaire who fought with french troops in Indonesia and Algeria against these countries independence.
– on 26 October 1972, Mathieu Kérékou who was a security guard to President Hubert Maga, the first President of the Republic of Benin, carried a coup against the president, after he attended French military schools from 1968 to 1970.
In fact, during the last 50 years, a total of 67 coups happened in 26 countries in Africa, 16 of those countries are french ex-colonies, which means 61% of the coups happened in Francophone Africa.

Number of Coups in Africa by country

Ex French colonies Other African countries
Country Number of coup Country number of coup

Togo 1 Egypte 1
Tunisia 1 Libye 1
Cote d’Ivoire 1 Equatorial Guinea 1
Madagascar 1 Guinea Bissau 2
Rwanda 1 Liberia 2
Algeria 2 Nigeria 3
Congo – RDC 2 Ethiopia 3
Mali 2 Ouganda 4
Guinea Conakry 2 Soudan 5

Tchad 3
Burundi 4
Central Africa 4
Niger 4
Mauritania 4
Burkina Faso 5
Comores 5
SUB-TOTAL 2 32

As these numbers demonstrate, France is quite desperate but active to keep a strong hold on his colonies what ever the cost, no matter what.

After the bomb blast

War has many terrible consequences. One of them is that it reduces human lives to statistics. Thousands have died at the hands of terror in Nigeria, though many times more have lived — and are still living — through it.
Abubakar is one of the survivors. During the ongoing insurgency, she has lost neighborhood friends and her mother’s best friend was shot. Her family were forced to relocate for a time due to the hostilities. Remarkably, Abubakar maintains that she has not been directly affected by the conflict. Her story, she argues, is nothing compared to others.
She should know. Abubakar has made it her mission to document the lives of the people of Maiduguri, finding both deep trauma and steely resilience along the way. Her Instagram and Facebook series, “Bits of Borno,” explores the lives of those who have been touched by the unrest.

“The (media) focus has been entirely on the bomb blasts, the deaths and the displaced,” she says, and though she concedes that those are not unimportant subjects. She adds “I feel there’s less focus on anybody left… I wanted people to see after the bomb blast, who was left behind.”

With her camera, Abubakar has patrolled Maiduguri for the last six months seeking out personal stories and captioning her images accordingly. So far she estimates she has taken about 1,000 photographs, only some of which have found their way online.

Her lens has captured schoolchildren and grandmothers, vigilantes and merchants, all with a story to tell. People like Alhaji Bukar Tijjani (above), who complains that business has slowed since trade connections with Niger, Chad and Cameroon closed. Mohammed (below), like others Abubakar has met, is putting his trust in Nigerian president Muhammadu Buhari, and believes change is already at hand.

“I ask them about what has happened, how they are coping, just very normal questions,” she explains. However with Maiduguri’s newest residents “it’s usually the same stories that keep occurring. People who have lost family, people who have lost parents,” she says, trailing off.

‘This Boko Haram era must end’

Maiduguri has seen an influx of internal migrants, particularly from surrounding villages says Abubakar. Not that the state capital is a safe haven. In 2015, militants attempted to overrun the city, and last month, two female suicide bombers disguised as men blew themselves up at a mosque, killing 22 people. The residents are surviving, but their plight is compounded by other issues.
“(People) have lived through terror, but still cannot cope because the economy is bad, they have health issues, (or) they cannot afford to live here,” Abubakar argues. “I think it takes its toll across the region.”
Bulama Mustapha is one such person who has fallen on hard times. Though he shares his compound with 100 other residents, he is the traditional leader.

“We sell charcoal to pay the rent. It’s 1,000 Naira ($5) a room per month and the landlord has started saying there will be an increase in rent to 3,000 Naira ($15). Most of us might end up being evicted,” he says.
Others in less desperate situations are steeling themselves to take on the insurgents. Modu Aji, vice president of the Civilian Joint Task Force, says the government has provided his team with resources to “liberate Borno State.”

“In the past you wouldn’t go two hours without running from a gunshot, a bomb blast, a perceived threat or hearing about death,” he says. “But we sacrificed ourselves and decided to make sure we find the terrorists and hand them over to the authorities… We are aware of people who don’t like our activities because the insurgency aids them in a way, but we don’t care. This Boko Haram era must end.”

Abubakar says that while some are hesitant to be photographed, many find sharing their experiences cathartic. “Although I find a lot of sad stories, I think you can still find a lot of different narratives,” she says, suggesting her series “shows how people are continuing.”
“I think that people become stronger after war; they’re not exactly as traumatized,” she argues. “People truly bounce back.”

Politics / Nigerian Army Establishes Aviation Corps, To Acquire Platforms From Russia, SA. by Chelseafan99: 10:12pm On Apr 07, 2016
The Nigerian Army has established the aviation corps as part of the immediate and long-term measures to effectively flush out Boko Haram terrorists from the North-east and all forms of insecurity in the country.

To this end, the army authorities are concluding plans on how to acquire the desired platforms with consideration for Russian, South African, American and Chinese made aircraft, among others.

The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lt-Gen. Tukur Buratai, disclosed this wednesday during the 2016 First Quarter COAS Conference in Abuja.

Buratai noted that since the establishment NA Aviation, several efforts had been made to acquire desired platforms.
In this regards, he said: “We have compiled list of platforms from Russian, American and Chinese origin including simulators and UAVs.

He said: “One project that is dear to me is the take off of the Nigerian Army Aviation. All activities towards building the NA Aviation Corps is still in progress. It is hoped that very soon, the NA would be able to acquire its own platforms to enable the corps kick off wholly. So far, the main activities been undertaken are the training of the pilots and technicians and also necessary negotiations towards acquiring the helicopters.

“Emphasis was however on Russian made Mi-17 due to its ruggedness, operability and multi-role capability. As a result, different contractors submitted their proposals for supply which are still being considered. Recently, the NA also considered the South African made Rooivalk attack helicopters after witnessing a demonstration in SA on the capability of the platforms and its employability.

“Additionally, a helicopter operating company called Caverton proposed the supply of three H125 helicopters and maintenance which the NA is also considering presently as an option. As it is now, the NA Aviation might eventually take-off with any platform it can acquire as long as the platform can perform the expected roles. On the whole, there is high hope that the NA Aviation will eventually develop to the desired standard in order to effectively support the NA Operations,” he added.

On the issue of training, Buratai revealed that the trainee pilots comprising of one captain and nine lieutenants were still undergoing flying course at International Helicopter Flying School (IHFS) Enugu. He said the trainees were initially meant to complete the training by December 2015 but could not be achieved due to unforeseen circumstances like weather and other factors.

On the Counter-Terrorism and Counter-Insurgency (CT COIN) operations in the North-east, the army chief said the military tremendous progress, adding that Boko Haram has been significantly decimated.

In another development, the military in continuation with its clearance and mop up operations of the remnants of Boko Haram terrorists in various parts of the North-east geo-political zone, have rescued no fewer than 11,595 persons held hostage by the terrorists within the last one month.

The Director of Army Public Relations (DAPR), Col. Sani Usman, in a statement wednesday, said most of these persons were rescued at various areas and towns where the remnants of the terrorists were hibernating before the clearance operations by various formations and units in the theatre of operation.

Usman disclosed that others were also received from the neighbouring Cameroun.

On March 1, 2016, he noted, troops of 155 Task Force Battalion received 10,000 refugees from the Republic of Cameroun at Banki and Bama axis.

He said: “Two days later, Army Headquarters Special Forces (AHQ SF) Battalion also rescued 63 persons held captives by terrorists at Maleri. The same unit on March 5, 2016 rescued 779 persons at Fotokol general area, a border town between Nigeria and Cameroun.

“Within the first week of March 2016, the 254 Task Force Battalion also rescued 45 persons at Kuaguru, while 143 Battalion similarly rescued 27 persons at Gadayamo,15 at Galadadani Dam in Madagali and 10 persons from Disa village. On March 11, 2016 troops of 231 Battalion and Armed Forces Strike Force (AFSF) also rescued seven persons held captives by Boko Haram terrorists at Betso village; five of whom were elderly women and two young girls.”

In the same vein, the DAPR said 117 Task Force Battalion on March 15, 2016, received 14 refugees from Sahuda a border town with Cameroun. The Battalion equally rescued 59 at Bitta general area on March 19, 2016.

Also, he said that troops of 22 Brigade in conjunction with Army Headquarters Strike Group (AHQ SG) rescued 309 hostages from Kala Balge general area on March 23, 2016.

“While on March 30, 2016 troops of 25 Task Force Brigade rescued 45 men, 85 women and 137 children from the Boko Haram terrorists at, Zahdra and Weige villages.

“Thus the total number of persons rescued by the troops during the ongoing clearance operations is 11,595 from February26, 2016 to date,” Usman stated.

He also assured that the military, in the course of its clearance operations, would continue to place high premium on respect for human rights and dignity, hence the rescue operations.

Politics / Is The Boko Haram Insurgency Another CIA Covert Operation? Wikileaks. by Chelseafan99: 12:48am On Apr 01, 2016
We have already been regaled with reports provided by Wikileaks which identified the US embassy in Nigeria as a forward operating base for wide and far reaching acts of subversion against Nigeria which include but not limited to eavesdropping on Nigerian government communication, financial espionage on leading Nigerians, support and funding of subversive groups and insurgents, sponsoring of divisive propaganda among the disparate groups of Nigeria and the use of visa blackmail to induce and coerce high ranking Nigerians into acting in favour of US interests.

But beyond what we know from the Wikileaks report, what many Nigerians do not know is that the US embassy’s subversive activities in Nigeria fits into the long term US government’s well camouflaged policy of containment against Nigeria the ultimate goal of which is to eliminate Nigeria as a potential strategic rival to the US in the African continent.

According to wikileaks article on ACRI which potrays the ACRI as a counterweight which was set up by the US to instigate mistrust in Nigerian dominated ECOMOG; the sense of Nigerian led anti-American opposition was first observed during the bush administration, when Nigeria without support from the west or UN led the first ever African intervention force on peacekeeping mission to Liberia while at the same time engaging Sierra Leone in forced peace combat, with predominantly Nigerian troops( over 90%) being spearheaded by then Military ruler Gen. Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida.

In this regard, the report further recalled Nigeria’s role in helping to liberate the southern African countries in the 70’s and 80’s in clear opposition and defiance to the interests of the United States and its western allies which resulted in a setback for Western initiatives in Africa at the time.

Both concluded with a recommendation that the US Government in conjunction with its allies should seek to contain the growing influence of Nigeria in the sub-region by forming a parallel organization to ECOMOG. But in order not to unduly alarm and antagonize Nigeria which the report admitted still had considerable influence in the region, the US government was advised to go about this using quiet diplomacy and instigating false propaganda.

Years, later the CIA while tactically taking advantage of growing sectarian violence in Nigeria, recruited jobless Islamic extremist through Muslim and other traditional leaders offering training indirectly to the group by use of foreign based terror groups. A detailed analysis is done below.

However, there many dots left to be joined together to find the truth;

In December 2011 an Algerian based CIA wing gave out 40 million Naira as a planned Long term partnership with Boko Haram with PLEDGE TO DO MORE.
On June 29, 2009 a United States cable leaked by wikileaks showed that the CIA public predicted the onslaught of deadly terrorist attack by Boko Haram, i.e even 2 months before boko haram started terrorist actions.
Disregarding advices from experts the us armed Saudi Arabia who in turned armed Libyan rebels that in turn armed Malian rebels and Boko Haram, a chain tactically predicted by the CIA. US=>SA=>LIBYA=>BOKO HARAM.
Spy files a wikileak document indicates that SS8 a surveillance company in the us was producing viruses(Trojans) that hijack individual computer and phones (iPhone, blackberry, android etc), take over the device, record its every use, movement,GPS info and even sights and sounds in the room it is in. This software was however bought by the and used as tools by the CIA in its eavesdropping games on Nigerian politicians, thus detecting corrupt practices. As good as that may sound, but whichever politician refused to hijack policies in favour of the US was made to face financial espionage or “corruption charges”.
It is however remarkably outstanding or rather coincidental how Nigerian SSS agents personal information, including address, bank information, mobile numbers, etc were leaked and published on the........
