Politics › South East/ South South Youth Forum Calls On Uche Secondus To Resign Now by Cherrybae(op): 9:55am On Feb 27, 2019
At an emergency general meeting of the South East / South South youth forum held at its corporate Headquarters in Port Harcourt Rivers state, it was unanimously endorsed by all members present to call for the resignation of the People's Democratic Party chairman Prince Uche Secondus to as a matter of urgency resign his position to pave ways for a more competent chairman.

We observed with dismay that since the inception of Secondus as the People's Democratic Party chairman, our great party has lost focus under his watch.

A chairman who is expected to sell our party the PDP to the Nigerian masses but he choose to be bloting out unguarded uterances filled with threats and hate.

We are afraid that should Secondus continue as our great party chairman, our party is bound to lose more states during the governorship election.

We therefore call for his immediate resignation or the PDP should be ready to face our wrath come Match 9th Governorship election.

We call on all our party members especially the youths to eschew peace and shun violence as winner of the presidential election has emerged.

We urge our great party to conceed defeat to avert heating up the polity as there is already tension across the country.

In every contest there must be a winner and a loser.
Final we congratulate president Buhari on his re-election and we urge him to be magninamous with his victory.

PDP has 1.2M intact vote in Rivers!!
In Rivers state APC has 200k plus and PDP has 400k plus.

Atiku should demand for refund of all his monies.

They just scammed Atiku. I'm very bitter for the way Atiku was scammed with rented crowds.

It seems APC will have more than majority in senate and House of Rep

I don't see Saraki and Dogara returning as senate president and speaker.

Both will be floor members.

Stop saying APC is dead in Rivers, while they APC taking the day in Rivers, with what I saw for myself in four polling units at Rumuobiokani and other polling units at Rumuomasi, believe me Buhari will win Rivers state.

Keep typing here and saying APC is dead in Rivers

Watch out how APC will enter an Alliance with Accord party to defeat wike

As it stands our votes won't count and wike is powerless without federal might.

Let's pray wike finds a way to retain his seat.

The election is a Sham, APC have rigged all polling units in my area, I won't be surprise to hear Buhari defeated Atiku in Rivers state.

Wike has betrayed Atiku indeed for folding his hands and allow APC over run the state.

I will go unclad to protest this sham called election.

Rivers is PDP but today APC have taken over everywhere.

God punish Wike for working for Buhari

So governors are inconsequential in elections Abi?

Maybe Jonathan forgot to use "Federal might" to grab 1 million in Kano...

I know you love Buhari, but please try and be logical in your judgements....Even Amaechi knows he won't get any reasonable number from Rivers
The governor's have there own elections to battle, none will kill himself for Atiku, they will reserve there boys for there own elections
If there hitmen are crushed during presidential election who will they use for there own elections.

If you say the governor's are powerful, how come wike used federal might to take all votes in Rivers for Jonathan when Amaechi was the governor

Let me tell you, I'm on ground in Rivers Buhari will get more than 30% in Rivers
Mark my words

grin grin grin

Its funny how you lots underestimate Atiku's strength in the North, but overestimate Buhari's strength in the South

I'm no supporter of the two old men, but how can Buhari get 1.7 million votes in the South East?

How can Buhari get 2 million plus in the South South?

Very funny thread grin grin
You people make me sigh, Buhari might even get many votes in the SS and SE especially Imo, Abia, Enugu, Anambra, Ebonyi, Rivers, Akwa ibom, Delta, Edo

PDP during the past years uses federal might to grab votes and write results, this time things are not the same

A good politics analyst WI say it will be tough for PDP this time.

No way PDP can right so easily this time in SS and SE

APC is busy strategizing while PDP is busy ranting online seeking for sympathy votes.

Those commenting here on nairaland shouting Bugatti must go, I just pity all of you because you will receive the shock of your life.

It will only take APC governors and members betrayal for Atiku to defeat Buhari

Without this, no way Atiku can defeat Buhari

PDP has never won election before, they right there way to power.

I wonder how they will perform the miracle here.

The igbos kept hating Buhari and Osinbajo and they feel the Hausas will abandon Buhari or the yorubas will abandon osinbajo.

Let's wait till Saturday

A lot of our offices were burnt and arrangements were put in place to secure a safer place before the materials for the affected states were despatched.

Anambra, Abia, Plateau and many other states,

How do we conduct elections when materials are yet to arrive at many states.

Nigerians are too difficult to manage, we Nigerians are the worst humans on earth.

You hide under the social media insulting people here and there.

Anybody who is pained can come and beat me, I'm in my house now.
Politics › Re: BREAKING: INEC May Postpone Election Till Tuesday For Logistics Reasons by Cherrybae(f): 11:33pm On Feb 15, 2019
I'm an INEC official and I must say it loud that materials are yet to arrive in many states as these materials were been conveyed by roads.

Postponing the elections to Tuesday is the best options as many states will receive materials late Saturday or early sunday

Also vehicles are been despatched to states which are yet to arrive at many states.

This has nothing to do with rigging as the international monitoring team were the ones who suggested the postponement.

Nigerians are too quick in reacting to issues.
INEC remains committed to conducting free, fair and credible elections.
