I joined Nairaland about 10 years ago with another account. I remember reading delightful stories on the literature section. I used to have verbal spars with some folks on the religious section too. Romance/family section used to be filled with so many mature people who would share deep insight and real life experiences.

The politics section was always heated (as it is in political debates). There were mature folks who would debate this vs that; APC vs PDP. It was an interesting sight to behold as they would dig into the annals of history to furnish their argument with merit and authenticity.

The cars section was another world altogether. I spent time reading dispute resolution threads playing a jurist trying to determine who was right and who was wrong.

Nairaland was so interesting that I recommended it to my aunt who was above 50 then. She signed up and was always reading up on threads and news. Nairaland was a sort of online family for Nigerians. There was a sense of solidarity and respect among its users.

Fast forward 10 years later and what do I see?
Nairaland is a shadow of itself. It is unfortunate to know that Nairaland has been left alone, like an old and deserted house, waiting for the roof to cave in and the lawn to dry up.

The romance section is filled with absurdities. Out of every five threads, four are about misogyny and bashing women. It's apalling. Women are treated like stocks to be given to the highest bidder. It's repulsive and denigrating. Some monikers are already associated with spreading hate and misogyny about women.

A few days ago, a guy wrote about how he went to his ex' wedding and was reminiscing about how he and his ex used to do this and that together. It was basically a clip out of a porn clip and guess what? A mod decided to push such disgusting, childish and harebrained material to the front page.

A quick visit to the romance section (I keep referencing this section because this is where the nastiest entities on Nairaland are situated) would show you the absolute rot that plagues the mind of our young folks. If these folks have it, the womenfolk would be obliterated entirely or turned into sex slaves. Seun Osewa, is this what you want your legacy to reflect? Misogyny, hatred and insanity?

You can hardly open any thread about politics without it being a cyberwar between PO and BAT. This is not a matter of competence or leadership. People should be able to share their political views without the fear of an online mod and cyberbullying. I am NOT politically neutral, but I won't take away the right of an adult to vote by throwing verbal jabs at his/her preferred candidate.

Let's not go to the intertribal wars. That is a slap on the face of every mod and every shareholder in Nairaland. What in the world is going on? It's already an Igbos vs Yoruba fight. Where is our sense of morality? Where is our humanity? Where is our sanity? People bash other tribes without the fear of getting banned. It's an absolute disgrace to the leadership of Nairaland.

Seun, you have being a ghost long enough. Emerge from the shadows and give an explanation to this lapse in leadership. You spend more time on Twitter than you do on your creation. Nobody even sees you here anymore. If you cannot manage this sight or get competent, non-biased mods, why don't you sell it off? You'd make a handsome profit. It's better for the website to change leadership and maintain its integrity rather than for it to fall altogether to pieces.

I don't talk much on this forum but the level of gross misconduct being displayed by certain nefarious elements has brought me out of my online shell.

I don't know many mods but I'll tag the ones I know by heart. Maybe y'all should have an emergency board meeting to salvage this sinking ship called Nairaland:

The opening weekly price for BTC is $21k
Good news...

Back to yesterday's analysis...BTC finally touched and broke the resistance at $21,725 and set a new intraday high at $21,888.00

And Just like I rightly predicted and analysed yesterday, there was a strong pullback from the new high to the support of $20,906.00

That support was crucial, because had it failed to hold, BTC could have dropped further below, and reducing the chances of BTC opening above $20k in the weekly candlestick.

So for today's analysis: BTC will still keep pushing to match yesterday's high at $21,888 and finally creep into the $22k price territory.
A pullback is likely, but may not be as strong as yesterday's.
The slightly higher support of $20,906 still remains crucial.

The bulls are doing great so far, and this week will be crucial in the general outlook of BTC.
Go long at the support of $20,906 or slightly above that price range, and start taking your profits around the resistance at $21,700 and above.

Trade carefully!
The bears won't give up without much resistance and fight!
WoW ! shocked .

Nice analysis smiley .

I've been an ardent reader of this thread and I must say u r gud bro. Last time I posted a call here the trade was about $100 plus in profit and you posted in the evening from your analysis that day traders are taking profit, I saw the post but didn't do likewise as I felt the market would go down more but in the night there was a huge reversal and the trade was lost but ever since then, I learnt from your analysis and they added to my knowledge in my day trading journey. I believe your analysis help day traders here go into trade and exit for profit. Most people won't come out to say how they've benefited from your analysis but that's just life. I only trade when btc is on resistance level. If you stop analysing here I'll understand. The little you dropped here is appreciated. Woke up this morning and saw that btc had broken the resistance level of 21,450 of yesterday and today's resistance level was 21,614 and made a trade from the reversal. In a country where there's unemployment where few people feed on trading, even though you don't analyse here, I've learnt something from you. God bless you more bro.

I really don't get what this argument is all about on btcee chart analysis!
My own understanding of analysis is predicting the unseen, I don't understand how btc will be in a price region and u keep running around in circle telling us u are analysing btcee chart. It is quite funny. Even a layman know btcee is within the price range of 19k to 21k, tell us if it is breaking out or going down. Even though we know there was some level of guess work in openheaven analysis on btcee not being bullish, but dude was confidence on his position. That should relate to my own understanding of analysis, not when we have btcee in 20500 and u come here to say btcee will either head to 20900 or 20100, that is a joke! Because btcee is already in that price region. Tell us if btcee is heading to 25k or 15k within certain timeframe, if u can't analyse the chart to get such result, then u are just telling us what we already know.
Otondo undecided, he is dropping scalping signal not swing trading.

RomanceRe: How Guys And Girls Spend Money On Food (photo) by cherryCola: 10:59pm On Jun 24, 2022
pansophist:
Me that wants to be a billionaire grin

You asked a very important question, and I'll answer to the best of my ability. It's also the playbook I'm following, and you should do the same.

Now look at all the billionaires or even millionaires you know, you'll notice a pattern, they all offer services that the public uses almost everyday. The larger the customer base, the more chance to be a multi millionaire. Look at Coca-Cola, uber, dangote, kfc, car companies, MTN, etc, you can't be a multi milliomaore/billionaire if you do not scale.

So pick something that the public needs, and try to develop a means to offer it to as much people that needs it. For example McDonald's has more than sixty thousand restaurant world wide, will you be surprised if the founder is a billionaire? Of course not. If you want to have a chain of restaurants for example, then create a plan that every year, you'll add 100% more locations. So from one, then two, then four, then eight, then sixteen, then thirty two, sixty four, and so in. You must have a model and follow it religiously.

Also, your mindset is the most important thing. Personally I do not believe in luck, I believe in planning and execution, and the "laws of cause and effect", or biblically, what you sow, you shall reap. The universe operates in codes and laws. Understand the law and play accordingly. I see lots of people just settle because their stomach is filled, even they can be more.

And you will need self-descipline to follow any plan you have for yourself. Jack ma, the founder and ceo of alibaba is my favourite billionaire. Go listen to him speak, he came practically from nothing, zero, but he became china's wealthiest man by understanding the game, and play like a pro. He was rejected by all schools, jobs, but he didn't reject himself, which is worse.

Also pick a billionaire of choice and study him like he has a key to make you enter heaven. Look at what he did, and do exactly that. Think of the things you can offer the Nigerian market, and extend globally as well, but you should start from a place you have comparative advantage such as your country of citizenship.
Damn pansophist my guy shocked .

You won't know me well with this monicker though we vibe well with my former monicker.

I have a company I want to co-found with you, though am still working on the business planning process.

what do you have to say about it ? .
