But i just had to log out because i started having bp issues. My bp was 140/90 yesterday and i was placed on drugs to reduce it. So i didnt just want anything that will make me frown or increase it further, na make me dust my slippers waka comot first

I was told by my doc to come every morning to check it. I went this morning and its still 140/90. My doc is really worried.

Pls if anyone has any tip to help me relax so it can reduce, pls let me know o cus baby is threatening to drop anytime soon and i cant risk entering labor like this.

Me I didn't do EBF o. I started with formulae from Day1. I have never expressed. I don't like d idea of BM as a do or die affair. This life isn't that hard jare. I give BM when I can and for bonding. The rest of the day she is on formular. I know d importance and I do give when I can.

So my dear, enjoy motherhood. Give BM when u can or u are at home. If u want to try expressing u can o. Just see how it goes. But IMHO give BM as it flows and as ur spirit leads.

Yes o. Funny enuf I wasn't on an extra dose. I was on one tab daily o. And i was reacting badly. I bought calcium tabs too but I never really took them maybe twice or thrice. But I loved biscuit bones so dh always said I'll get calcium from that so I shouldn't worry. And my kid is so strong.

@hormorbollar, sweetie I don't see anything bad in what mitchyy said. You are a big part of the family so no one wants to hear anything bad happening after a prescription or advise. We always say confirm with ur doctor because that is the person seeing u. He has ur file. He is seeing the results of ur tests. If u ttc-d he also has ur history. So if we all say Yay here and your doctor says Nay please go with ur doctor's Nay. He is seeing u. He knows u. He understands ur body. He is handling u. If anything happens u can see him and hold him responsible even sue him and the hospital. If u get an advise or prescription here and something goes wrong u are on your own o. Mamas will only say sorry, take heart. If Dem come too nice, some might call u. But even at that u can not hold anybody here responsible.

That is also why for any medical issue mamas help to copy medical practitioners on the thread.

So we love you, we love each other, we love our babies, we want them hale, hearty and alive, we love our husbands, we ONLY want the best for everyone.

Holy sh*t this tab can soooooo do this rubbish ehn. I birthed with 31% PCV o. I actually stoped the iron tabs and munched vegetables everyday. I also didn't joke with my proteins like milk and I didn't miss out on fruits too.

PLS CONFIRM WITH YOUR DOCTOR VERY VERY WELL BEFORE YOU TAKE ANY DECISION.

But if u are a FTM, pls start encouraging mama that u people should go and sit there o. you might dilate fast and start having this uncontrollable urge to "poo". it would be preferable to "poo" in the hospital o.

Mamas whether u buy okrika or not. I feel (Na my own opinion o) all wearables should be washed and disinfected before use especially as the body is new to them. I bought new clothes especially outing clothes for Lam and Okrika for staying at home or creche. We mix them sha somehow.

@sugarcanebaby, hmmmmm me ayam team coconut oil and ori but my mum said baby will not be smelling like baby lol. So I did cussons all through. I use coconut oil or Vaseline on her bum. We use cussons powder to smell fine and cussons oil on her head and cussons lotion on body. I've not had any wahala with all of them.

Chai I remember when pregnacare sef chak me. I scatter ground say by force Na pregnacare I must use o. I only added calcium to it when I used it but I had to discard it after thinking that ANC give me all my weekly routine drugs for #200. While after spending over 3k I will buy extra calcium. I just went for folic acid, ferrous and calcium and we did just fine.
