Suzzie(Dell) is my desk top  computer  in the process of active internet intercourse  she passed out -----sandra is my laptop being an asian (toshiba overheating celeron since my Ac got bad) she has lost stamina (battery problem)------------------so i made use of a pals computer and unlike human sandra did not get jealous she did not nag and she knows i plan to buy Martha (a brand new HP pavilon notebook 10 gb ram HDD in tera bytes!!) infact am using her(sandra) for this post!!

How come as an Admin of a forum (yours) you spend so much time on NL. Do you have the Nairaland effect like me?. . . . . you know - can't eat, can't sleep, can't breathe until you log on to Nairaland.

But don't feel no way that you are "addicted" to Nairaland. You see, I am guilty too. Lately, I find myself spending more time on NL than my own BVI forum. Why? Nairaland - spice up your life its as good as it gets

It is not in my style to Insult peoples way of reasoning even if i do not agree with them-------------------we are more often driven by our perception of reality and not reality itself--------------i did not actually see the horse whip you mentioned------------the fact that we differ on the use of the word severely beaten should not destroy the fact that we both agree that this is an act of physical assault which is actionable in law and drastic action should be taken not only in this instant but in actual severe instances which i consider BRUTAL where boots and metal belt is used on a daily basis on the street(if you see actual brutality i wonder the word you will coin for it)!!

In law even if the woman was harrassed and not even touched it is assualt if it creates fear/apprehension------it will still be actionable in court-------even if they did not touch her------but on the use of the words SEVERELY BEATEN i disagree in the light of what goes on everyday in Nigeria------and this does not call for insults----------the vidoe speaks for itsself------RES ISPA   the conclusion remains the same even if the magnitude of ur premises /choice of words is different-----------i think you will understand this better if you understand the factors courts consider to arrive at their decision-------it is shamefull in the sense that it is undignfying (blouse removed) subjecting her to ridicule and contempt in the public full glare but the quantum of liabilIYy wont rest on 'severeLy beaten'--------there are better words to use------and we will still arrive at the same conclusion------but i love saying it as it is!! ----------if beaten to coma liability will increase------THE ACT OF INJUSTICE MUST BE RESISTED  INVESTIGATED AND PROSECUTE BUT EMOTION REALLY HAS NO PLACE IN LAW!!

On the third of november 2008 on Muhri Okunola Street, victoria Island Lagos, the traffic was chaotic. A young lady (Uzoma Okere) driving home from work didn't move her vehicle out of the way of a millitary convoy on time, resulting severe beatings by armed Nigerian Navy men. The convoy consisted of Rear Admiral Harry Arogundade's personal Navy saloon car and his pilot truck, consisting of 6 armed bodyguards. The body guards in the process physically beat up several Price WaterHouse Coopers staff and destroyed cameras that were filming the event as it unfolded. The video clip was recorded from the PricewaterHouseCoopers office on a personal camera




THIS SORT OF ACT BY THE MILITARY/PARAMILITARY /POLICE FORCE should be condemed, this is just a diluted form of what actually happens in the real world because  worst things happen on a daily basis though contrary to the intant news the beating cannot be described as severe (it is not severe beating) but The lady was infact ASSUALTED which is completely unacceptble in Law,and it is contrary to the principles of morality ,Human Dignity and Good conciencs!! it is in fact contrary to the Law of the Landeven a mere threat is classified as ASSULT in law and it is actionable in law
and The Lady has  aa valid cause of Action in LAW against the NAVY.

According to the Admin--------t was to prevent spam----that was why private messeges was disabled----------of course you can limit it to 1 in preferably every  1 hour (on my forum i enabled 5 every 1 hour but with the installation of REPORT PM so spam Pm can be reported to the Admin!!) anyway the rest is left to the discretion of seun. there are reasons for every thing-----nairaland matter is complicated and must be handled with care with all the members/bugs older version matter and all that---------------
