Manual can be manipulated to gear 4 or 3 while acceding a Hilly highway then engage the lowest gear while defending... This will give him an edge over an automatic user without experience.... however if I am with Automatic... Whenever I am ascending a Hilly terrain I will tap my throttle and held it till hilltop before releasing it to maintain the last gear....
So it depends on the Driver. Both Automatic and manual can Achieve same speed... MY OPINION PLS ...I MAY BE WIRING THIUGH
