If they had long done a nation wide strike over fuel subsidy this whole non sense would have longed stopped and refineries in Nigeria would have longed been working and even more refineries would have been built. They are on there own because I will not join in the unproductive strike!

Did you read my post in full?
I doubt you did. If you did you would see that i already acknowledged Amaechi's inadequacies.
Concerning worst governor; you must be kidding. You have never heard of a man called TA Orji. He is my state governor and I am convinced the man is a gift from the fiery furnace. Amaechi is bad but nowhere near as bad as you make him out to be. He is locquacious and did almost nothing in his second tenure. He did very well in his first term.
However, most of the insecurity and infractions in Rivers state are directly due to Patience Jonathan's interference.
I agree with you on Orji, visited Aba few weeks back.
But patience been the cause of ' most of the insecurity and infractions in Rivers state are directly due to Patience Jonathan's interference' that's capital NO for me. Ameachi is a man that listens only to himself. He is egocentric! when did patience Jonathan become goodluck Jonathan, why embark on a sustained enimity with a woman, like you don't have a wife at home. Ameachi is very petty and too egocentric

As much as I agree with you as it concerns Amaechi, same and even worse can be said about GEJ.
A great deal of the insecurity and fracturing oF Rivers state can be traced to Patience Jonathan and her desire to have the state in her bra.
I seriously doubt it would have been this insecure if she did not arrogate to herself powers that are not hers.
At least Amaechi was voted for, Patience never contested an election the last time i bothered to check.
Rubbish is patience also the reason for the closure of court for over a year and other ills been done by Ameachi in Rivers state?
Ameachi remains the worst governor in Nigeria, he knows nothing about governance.......just as it clearly shows in his acts
Politics › Re: Patience Jonathan Fuelled My Conflict With President, PDP – Amaechi by Chiaka(f): 11:36am On May 25, 2015

Ameachi is sick. How can patience be all the problem you have in this life.

Go have another life! Stupid man!

why cant other marketers act like Ifeayin Ubah. They should all release fuel to Nigerians we are suffering and its few days to Buhari inauguration so many people are expected to come into the country......it will be a shame, why do they want the worst fuel scarcity close to Buhari's swearing in to me the only one that meant well for Buhari is this Ifeayin Uba man! Subsidy should be removed which is the root cause of the problem in any case! what Ifeayin Uba did by releasing is own fuel is good this act should set the pace for the total removal of this so called subsidy that has not allowed for competition in the first place between oil marketers. If subsidy has been long removed by now we would be buying fuel for even lesser price than today because the refineries would have been made to work.

They are sure blinded by nothing else but tribalism. How can a well meaning Nigerian say such hideous thing at this point in time,
with just about 4 days to swearing in our new president elect........and this crippling scarcity. Infact they should scrap off fuel subsidy which is the real cause of this problem. To me this Uba man has set the pace to discontinue the fraudulent subsidy.

socialmediaman:
As I earlier pointed out, Ifeanyi Ubah is simply being sensible and smart, this is business, there's nothing to be grateful for, government owes them nothing, we'll find out in a few weeks. These importers are saboteurs and fraudsters, they sucked this country dry for years and now they're holding us hostage because they know we have a toothless president. It's better to stay in business longer than than to face the wrath of the incoming government which will definitely come, so as a businessman its your choice, hold the product and eat it after May 29, or sell it and stay in business as much as you can. It's very obvious many of them will get docked and jailed when their fraud is revealed in the coming months. Ifeanyi is simply being a wise businessman, the rest can hold theirs, no problem, Nigerians will show their wrath at the right time
I commend the guy. Helping to salvage a total economic grounding......just about 4 days to swearing in.

Campusser:
I dunno why some people dont want to see the real side of this issue. Mr Ubah is only taking advantage of a bad situation to make his money. Everybody is praising him for releasing fuel but nobody is interested in the price he is selling per litre. What favour is he doing Nigerians that fuel he bought at N97 per litre or so is what he is now selling at N250 per litre? Afterall, he is not just a businessman but one of the oil marketers holding this nation to ransom
Not him selling for 250 is the people he supplied to taking advantage of the scarcity. Stop hating and at least be grateful he volunteered to not making the country crash! Its just 4 days to handing over and anyone who will help to salvage such a situation at this period in time should be commended.

Politics › Ifeanyi Ubah, Pledges To Help End Fuel Scarcity-only 1 Among All Oil Markerters by Chiaka(op): 10:24am On May 25, 2015
Capital Oil and Gas Ltd on Sunday commenced the loading of 13 million litres of petrol from its depot in Apapa for distribution to the various states to reduce the current scarcity.

The Chairman of the company, Ifeayin Ubah, told journalists in Lagos that more than 2,000 trucks would be loaded before May 29 to boost the country’s economic activities.

He said that the company’s facilities had the capacity to load 13 million litres of the product within the period.

“This comes to approximately 500 trucks of petroleum products on daily basis. With this, it is our belief that once again our citizens will begin to smile and return to normal family and work life.

“We call on other petroleum marketers to follow suit and save our nation from this impending economic and social crisis,’’ he said.

Mr. Ubah said that the company on May 16 received a message ordering the suspension of loading activities in all depots from May 18.

He said that the company realised that the directive was the result of funds owed to transporters by oil marketers who in turn are owed by the Federal Government.

The chairman said that the development had resulted in immense hardship for Nigerians.

“We believe that a better solution can be pursued to solve this problem in a way that does not adversely affect our dear citizens.

“We also call on striking bodies to call off the strike and let us work together for the betterment of our people.

“As we brief you this moment, our truck park, port reception facilities and our depot had been ordered open. We are ordering and resuming discharge of products from vessels at our berths.

“We have ordered our trucks to commence loading of products and move overnight to every state,” Mr. Ubah added

He lauded two state-owned oil firms, NNPC and PPMC, for their steadfastness in ensuring the availability of petroleum products.

He said that the current PPMC stock level in the company’s storage tanks and buffer stock on vessels awaiting discharge were capable of meeting the nation’s demand for 15 days.

The Capital Oil boss also spoke on the traffic caused by petroleum tankers on Apapa-Oshodi Expressway in Lagos.

“We wish to emphasise that we have a total solution to the traffic menace on the Oshodi-Apapa Expressway,” he said.

“In the coming weeks, we hope to engage the Federal Government, Lagos State Government and other stakeholders in the affected area.

“This will optimally utilise our truck park which has the capacity to accommodate 1,100 trucks at a time and 5,000 on a shift basis.

“Capital Oil and Gas continues to appeal to Nigerians to accept and support deregulation as this will curb corruption, enhance competition, lead to reduction of pump price for petroleum products and ensure constant supply to meet the demand.”

Allow the foolish vulture who doesn't deserve oxygen to be deceiving himself. He thinks people have forgotten all his stupid actions from that time.
Bloody sellout.
What did he say he did in River state??

Ameachi makes me feel APC has nothing to offer Nigerian.............Ameachi has never talked about
the many good changes APC campaigned since after the election rather he is gathering
momentum for trouble and nothing more........for me that's all that there is in the whole 'Change'
Scheme in Ameachi's view...............very shameful.
What about shutting down court for over a year with so many people languishing in cell because they cannot get any court hearing
and his failed mono rail project with millions of Naira carted away in disguise of the silly monorail project. and all the mirage roads project
most of which are giving way as at today.
With all the confusion he has tried creating in Rivers state , Ameachi lacks democratic reasoning , survives on propaganda talks and dictatorship. He his full of shit talks and behaviour!

Wildrage:
The danger of a single narrative, these people always count on our short memories in their stupid attempt at revisionism. Was it Mama peace who encouraged Mr Amaechi in collaboration with Sylva and Saraki (then chairman of the governors forum) to vehemently oppose the swearing in of Gej as the acting president, even lobbying the national assembly members with Ghana must go to make sure he was never sworn in? Their treachery started long before Jonathan became the head of state and all their subsequent actions were geared towards achieving a premeditated objective. Amaechi is an arrogant, over ambitious oafish young man, placed by good fortune in a position beyond his ken. He is leaving Rivers state more fractured and insecure than he met it
