I have no problem if he's getting paid that much per month just as long as the money is being used to develop the Niger-Delta area. Buhari should cancel the payments immediately if Tompolo cannot account for his spending and put in place a committee specifically designed to develop the Niger-Delta area, if the area can be developed like Lagos or Abuja I doubt the citizens would have much to complain about. I do not trust these militant leaders as most of them are corrupt, we need a check and balance system to probe their activities and if they are not willing to conform then negotiations are closed and Marshall law is declared!

Well, Mark is right about the budget, earnings and salaries of the senate being public. Nigerians already know thanks to the FOI bill.

Amaechi's political and social future is highly endangered why APC should as a matter of morale obligation empower this man with the purpose of winning back the heart of his people. Anything less an S.G.F will make him the biggest loser. Amaechi's grudge with Jonathan is harped on the fact that he wanted to run as V.P to either Kwankwaso or any northern candidate in the PDP in the event of G.E.J not recontesting. This calculation caused the crisis and the defection that followed, but they had to swallow their pill with APC knowing that public perception on them will be negative should they fail to be accorded accordingly. Now, he had played a very prominent role in defeating his fellow kinsman out of arrogance and vendetta and his people may not forget this in a hurry. He was denied the V.P slot by Tinubu even after bankrolling PMB campaign pre and post ApC primaries.. What then can justify Amaechi's treachery? It is a loss loss situation because it will only take a miracle to be given the SGF slot to him.

I Read most of the comments on this thread. It clearly shows that most comments are not from Rivers State people.......hence all these unproductive comment.
99% does not know what the greater port Harcourt project is and the change it was meant to bring to Rivers state before commenting.
No questions about whether Mrs Aleruchi Cookey worked or not.

The reality is 'No single hut was built on greater port Harcourt project not to talk of a modern building, greater port Harcourt, was just an avenue for Ameachi to steal rivers money.
It was a siphoning make shift office. Wike is right to have dissolved it, the project ate all and achieved nothing.
