HERE IS WHAT A LAWFUL CAPTIVE IS:
when a person has done something DESERVING of him to be in captivity.
e.g u commit a crime and u get arrested and sentenced to jail. you are a lawful captive.your captivity is justified.the law itself sentences u to that captivity. captivity meaning Jail or Prison.
now when God proporses to release a lawful captive He is offering to find a legal way to save the prisoner from the demands of the Law that the prisoner has broken. its like a judge who sentences you to prison THEN TRIES TO WORK OUT A WAY TO SAVE YOU FROM JAIL WITHOUT BREAKING THE SAME LAW THAT PUT U IN THERE TO BEGIN WITH.

let me put it in gospel context:
when man sinned he became the lawful captive of death. because the sentence is justified and deserved man is a LAWFUL captive.now God cant save man just like that.He would break His own law.So He offers a way out. a marvellous solution called The Plan of Redemption. in Genesis the 10 commandments were summarized into 1 command "Dont eat the forbidden fruit". by breaking that law men deserved to die. God doesnt erase death but what He does is He switches the victim.just like He switched the victim so Abraham didnt have to sacrifice his son Isaac but the provided Lamb/sheep that appeared nearby.Abraham still sacrificed,but a different victim. so it is with us. death is the wages of sin. and God's Law will see death get its deserving victim, but God switches the victim. he places Jesus in our place.It cant be a sheep or an Angel.but the new Victim is the very Being who created man.only man's Maker can be man's Substitute.Thats the only person legally able to take the place of the entire human race. the Law of God is equal to GOD.and EVEN GOD HIMSELF CAN NOT CHANGE HIS LAW but He can redirect the wages of sin to another who is also equal to that law and who accepts to suffer the punishment demanded by the law: JESUS CHRIST. So God in accordance with His Law still carries out the sentence of death on humanity but the Lawful Captive is delivered by Jesus taking on that punishment on Himself as the substitute Lawful Captive. so the Prey of The Terrible is delivered.the Lawful Captive is set free--- but at a great personal cost to God. the Judge that sentenced the criminal to Jail just did the unthinkable- HE RELEASED THE PRISONER AND TOOK HIS PLACE!!!!!!! The law is not broken.yet justice is served.
this is the outworking of the principles that have been the foundation of God's government from eternity. Psalms 89:14 tells us : " Righteousness and justice are the foundation of thy throne; MERCY AND TRUTH go before thee".
and thats why Psalms 85:10 refering to this delivering of Lawful Captives AKA the Plan of Salvation says : " mercy and truth are met together;righteousness and peace have kissed each other " its so amazing the Bible refers to it in romantic language!!!!!!!!!!

You see, there are two sides to this 'BEING', 'US'.

1.The HUMAN and HUMANE side
2. The ANIMAL and the DEHUMANIZED side INHUMANE.

It takes alot of EFFORTS and DISCIPLINE to remain inclined to number 1. in this world today so controled mainly by ANIMALS in human skin always promoting and provoking animalistic instinct, the number 2.

Its mostly these ANIMALS amid HUMANS who advocate that FALSE DOCTRINE called INDIVIDUALISM: "mind your business" when attention is called to IRRESPONSIBLE PRACTICES by animalistic individuals to grow up and become truely human and humane so that their CARELESSNESS do not put our collective whole lot to jeopardy. For humanity by natural design functions on INTER-DEPENDENCY, hence you are your brothers keeper, thats our natural design for survival as a whole. But when you dont mind the evil practices of others in your society and say its not your business, you are only supporting it to grow until it becomes everyone's BUSINESS and by then, it has so grown with DEEP FIRM ROOTS unable to be up rooted unlike when it was so fragile, and can be weeded out with just two fingers. Now the axe cant even do the job nor the cutting machine. It will take such a GREAT EFFORT to up root, for cutting its stem and leaving its roots is wasted energy.

My brother its the world we are living in today more than ever before in the history of HUMANITY as far as my studies so far on human affairs.

I once read on sexuality section on NL. And with pride, a guy telling his story which he tags to not be a fiction but his own true life experience. He had numerous sex with his land lord's wife, her three daughters and a wife of his co tenant, all of them multiple times in the same compound. The irony of his story is that, ALL THESE LADIES are not unaware of his sexual adventures within them all. THATS THE LIFE OF AN ANIMAL. ANIMALS, HE-GOAT AND SHE-GOATS.
