A security source has informed that a top Boko Haram commander was arrested Thursday by the intelligence unit of the Borno State Police command following a tip-off.

A security source has informed that a top Boko Haram commander was arrested Thursday by the intelligence unit of the Borno State Police command following a tip-off.

The Boko Commander, who is known as Ibrahim Audu Diye alias Romeo according to the source was arrested at about 2 pm Thursday at an undisclosed location in Borno state.

The source also revealed that Romeo has recently threatened to kill the District Head of Pulka, Gwoza Local Government Area of Borno State.

He has equally been terrorizing that axis before his arrest Friday.

In another development, the source also revealed that military has closed in on Boko Haram terrorists that attacked Mainok town along Damaturu/Maiduguri Highway on Wednesday.

The source informed that the insurgents were chased to Zari Village of Mobbar Local Government.

He was subsequently arrested, interrogated, and detained and is expected to be charged to court on Monday alongside four of members of the gang earlier arrested.

Commissioner of Police, Mr. Imohimi Edgal, after the interrogation, said the State Police Command has zero tolerance for all forms of crime and would not hesitate to prosecute anyone found culpable in any criminal offense perpetrated in the State.

“There would be no sacred cows. This Command is poised to ensure that every resident can feel safe wherever they are and carry out their businesses without fear or favor. Anyone therefore found to be involved in this case would be made to face the law to clear his or her name or face prosecution,” Imohimi said.

The pop musician, who was declared wanted by the Lagos Police Command in connection with the robbery attack on another popular musician, Mr. 2kay at Eko Hotel and Suites early last month, reported to the Command headquarters in Ikeja at about 5 pm.

Tunmise Omotore, the gang leader of the suspected robbers, had confessed on how they disguised as room service to rob Mr. 2kay at Eko Hotel and Suites on the instruction of Burna Boy’s Road Manager, Joel Kantiock.

If he was indeed the leader of Igbos, what is he doing convening a crucial meeting about Ndigbo in Lagos? Lagos is Yoruba land not Igbo land. “Afenifere never organised any serious gathering outside Yoruba land, so why must Chief Nwodo run to Yoruba territory to conduct his restructuring debate? ”Is it because Igbo people are firmly behind IPOB quest for total Biafra independence, not his failed restructuring agenda? Or is it because he knows nobody will attend his hypocritical sham gathering of traitors anywhere on Igbo soil? We are urging all Biafrans, especially those of Igbo extraction to boycott this Aso Rock-sponsored gathering in Lagos.” The group advised that all issues concerning Igbo should be conducted in Igbo land, pointing out that Arewa Consultative Forum holds all their activities in Northern Nigeria and Afenifere conducts their activities in Yoruba land. “We are aware that a lot of money have been spent to mobilize dance troops from Anambra and Enugu States to charter busses with the promise of 350,000 Naira pledge for any group that performs for Nnia Nwodo at Surulere tomorrow. Also some Journalists both electronic media houses have been mobilized with flight ticket to cover the event. “The sole purpose of this gathering in Lagos is to create the impression that Nnia Nwodo is still in charge despite the obvious death of the restructuring debate in the absence of the momentum provided by IPOB. Lagos is not and can never be the home of Igbo people no matter how many millenia they may have lived there. “Arewa Consultative Forum consign all their activities in Northern Nigeria, Afenifere always conduct their activities in Yoruba land”, he disclosed.

The Warri based Pastor who shared the result of his one month search for the foundation of tithing in the Bible, wrote;

20-year-old Thabiso Chabalala on Wednesday, told the court that she spent seven months coughing and with swollen eyes after Prophet Lethebo Rabalago sprayed her with insecticide.

Prophet Rabalago from the Mountzion General Assembly in Limpopo, South Africa, who has styled himself as a prophet, was charged with five counts of assault and contravening environmental laws after images of him spraying congregants with Doom went viral in November last year.

This is Rabalago's second legal battle after the provincial health department obtained an interdict in the Limpopo High Court against him in May.

Chabalala told the court that she regretted allowing Rabalago to spray the pesticide on her. She said she responded to calls for the sick to come forward during a church service at Phomolong township last year.

Presiding magistrate Frans Mahodi asked Chabalala how she felt when she saw Rabalago holding the insecticide can.

"I was taken by surprise. I thought that was how God instructed him to conduct the healing," she responded.

Chabalala said she was sprayed with Doom twice on the same day and became dizzy. She said at first she thought the dizziness was part of the healing process, but she started experiencing health problems later on.

"I regret it," she said.

The state had also called a Grade 11 pupil who claimed he had to get help from a clinic after Rabalago sprayed him.

The 17-year-old said he had gone to the church to seek prayers because his neck was painful. Rabalago's defence lawyer, Edmond Lubisi, said his client had never met the teenager.

"It is my client's version that he does not know you or remember seeing you at his church," Lubisi said.

Earlier, Catherine Mabitsela, a legislation chief inspector at the provincial department of agriculture, testified that Rabalago's practices were misleading.

Mabitsela said Rabalago had not used the product according to regulations.

In an interview with eNCA.com last November, Rabalago claims that the insect killer is to heal people with cancer, HIV or any other illness.

On whether he considers the danger of the chemical spray to the eyes and other body parts, he said:

"With us, we believe in God is for all things. People are getting their deliverance."

Rapper Kodak Black's younger brother got into a fight with an older man in his neighborhood and it escalated quickly with the man threatening to kill himself.

Soon after the fight began, Lil Kodak, 16, had his shoulder dislocated - at least that's how he made it look - thereby making it impossible for him to continue fighting, but the man was already angered at this moment and kept on ranting and using a lot of swear words. He soon became really emotional and threatened to kill himself

"I'll f****** pull a motherf****** trigger on my f****** head bro and f****** blow my f****** brains out," he threatened.

"I don't care bro. I'm f****** slit my f****** wrist, bro," he added.

From the look of things, Lil Bodak and his friends had probably been bullying the man for a long time and he had had enough. Based on what he was saying to Lil and friends who were cheering Lil on, he had been picked on by them one too many times.

It took an intervention from neighbors to restore orderliness and calm the man.
