PROGRAMME OUTLINE:

DURATION:
The programme runs for 2 semesters.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
The programme is open to candidates with:

(a) Bachelor’s (honours) degree in Computer Science from the University of Lagos or any other recognised University; or

(b) A Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science of the University of Lagos with minimum CGPA of 3.00.

(c) In addition to the qualifying examination, candidates must pass Computer Programming practical examination which will take place immediately after the written examination. The preferred Programming language could be any of the following: C++, Java, C# and Python.

i just completed another application now. who else has observed that in this year applications once you submit your form you cant go back to edit the form? this is unlike previous years where after submission and you realise that you have made a mistake in filling the form you can always go back pay 1k and reopen your application.

this simply means that while filling your form ensure that all your details are correct to avoid putting yourself in a situation that will require you to re-open your application after submission.

For those applying with original certificate, pls you don't need transcripts.

Transcripts is needed for those applying with statement of results but I always advise my students applying with statement of results not to send their transcripts now, wait until you are given admission before processing your transcripts. The reason is to mitigate your loss should not be given admission.

Also in the entry requirements for MSC in Public health, option (b) states that candidates must have a minimum of three years post-graduation work experience in relevant fields.
Does the option (b) in anyway affect me in anyway

Key Points

1. If you don't have your original certificate, you can apply with your statement of result. Forward your transcript

once you have been admitted. it is not wise to forward your transcript during the application if you are applying with statement of result,

what if you were not admitted, you would be wasting your application fee + transcript fee.

2. If you are serving corps member and you will be passing out by Dec you can apply.

3. course Eligibility is vital, ensure you are eligible for your proposed course before you begin your application, as you will be disqualified regardless of your score in the entrance exam if you ain't eligible for the said course.

4. Applications started in April and will end in August
