How I wish the story is the same for everybody. You sound as if you don't know how Nigerian system works(things done the other way; imagining National ID card taking 4years or even longer, how much is the official price for Driver's License and how much is it done for those that have it else it's abandoned). If everybody should apply normally, I can bet with you that majority would not get it till next year.

Well, I dropped my opinion up there. Yes I know how things are been done. But should we continue that way? Everything under the sun has an end. So earlier we force it to stop, the better. We always fall into same issues yearly do to fear of" What if ? "

present address is different from permanent address i filled, will this affect me in any way because I wish to collect it from my present address and nor from permanent address.

They use to do address verification. Once verify of course no problems with that.

By the way i followed that path before, I ended up adding more cash or get my application ignored. They were even ignorant of the date of interview given by the system. I personally got my passport on official price. Both home and abroad. We still have honest Nigerian civil servants. My advice is base on my experience. How can agent send you to wait or seat somewhere while they do something you could have done at home.

For Goodness, we are citizens and you most know your rights. There are rules and regulations to follow while pursuing for things atimes.

Firstly, Nigerian passport can be done without agent. If you are a citizen or even none citizen, know your fully right and you will not be charge.

Secondly, it's only when you fail to perform your roles, that is where you start to support corruption. We all want corruption to stop in Nigeria, but we practice them daily.

I believe our civil servants and leaders will stop to take things from back when you understand your roles.

Now for the passport as a case study, simply go to https://immigration.gov.ng/standard-passport/

Check the list of documents required, prepare them and upload them. Pay official fee and print all pages.

You need three print outs ; Guarantor’s form, immigration Applicarion form and payment slip. All steps are listed there.

Immigration officers are being paid for services. And that service is what you just paid online. If you wish to give any of them cash, let it be as a gift.

Don't be lazy or play your roles like a blind person. Nigeria is moving forward as well as other countries.

Let us join and stop high corruption in Nigeria. I hope someone will understand. I hope someday, Nigeria will become one of the best countries in the world. Cheers.
