Today marks the last day for BONANZA
So we are bringing back the BULL.

BARGAIN HUNTERS TAKE NOTE grin

*ThE OcToPuS*

Dow officially closes with about 730 point down on Friday 26th June, 2020. https://markets.businessinsider.com/index/dow_jones.
Might be the beginning of the proper bonanza.

The arrow in your post corresponded with the Dow 26th June, 2020, closing of the market direction.

The reason why I personally prefer Uacn to the likes of zenith an uba is a bit speculative. I believe and hope the announcement of the unbundling date will generate a buzz and rally the price in the short time whereas apart from general bull it will take probably interim dividend announcements on uba and zenith for a significant rally.
My opinion though.
Nice point, rally based on their unbundling announcement meaning that jijo group will likely fair well with this, if the news of July unbundling stands, but might have to wait longer if the news is shifted. Not rally based on fundamental.
While UBA moves farward based on fundamental and interim dividend payment.

My thought though.

@ Chibuking81 pls try and go thru Cardinal stone's analysis on UACN carefully.
They gave the worst scenario, which is still not worst as the case may be.
Now, try and look at it from the best case scenario too.

https://research.cardinalstone.com/storage/ResearchReports/CardinalStone%20Research%20-%20Company%20Update%20-%20UAC%20of%20Nigeria%20Plc_.pdf
Remember I am not disputing the worst scenario from Cardinal stone. I always like to disagree to agree to avoid mistakes , from their point, it seems like the stock has already price in to their worst scenario going by their current price, that is why I do ask the current fair price of the 3 stocks for unbundling based on their recent fundamental performance and earning per a share, i.e UACN 1 unit, UAC PROPERTY 6 unit AND UPDC REIT Half unit.

1. Like UBA at their current price what do you think that should be their worst scenario?
2. Is it their current price of #6.40 or another price higher or lower?,
3. And what do you think that should be their best scenario?
4. Comparing UACN best scenario with UBA best scenario, which of them will you advice an investors looking for sound fundamental stocks to buy based on their anticipating best scenario?

What if I see UBA at #5 and Zenith at #12.80 and UACN at #5.60 which is about 20% downward from their current price, which of them will you advice me to grab considering their best scenario?

At lower price of UACN next month, if it look more attractive one can go for it. I will be happy if you can try to answer my questions, am not asking to defend my point, rather am asking for betterment of all, we learn every day.

What if FCMB used their retained earnings to buy AIICO pension managers
The truth is that buying of AIICO pension fund will not make them increase their final year dividend, instead it will reduce it, because they will like to replace the retain earning use in purchase of the pension fund. They are stingy in giving dividend, they real need to improve in area of dividend payout to their shareholders.

No matter how juicy a business is, if the price is right I will sell. FCMB must have bought AIICO pension managers at a huge premium.

The market leader is Stanbic IBTC pension as the market leader with about N3 trillion under management, majority of the players have less than N400 billion under management as at December 2019

The purchase will affect their earning in the short run, but better returning in the rerun, how did you see it?

Monitoring oil fluctuations on a daily basis is not good for anyones health. I think Following general trend is better. Most countries are opening up hence there is no need to worry about Oil. Even right now there are good deals in the market, you can never time this market accurately. What if the Q2 results comes out better than expected. The feelers i am getting is to the effect that banking results will be flat.

I am a fundamental investor, i seek only companies that give me minimum 12% dividend yield annually. So i careless about these market gyrations except something fundamental happens. Right now i am buying Zenith, WAPCO,UCAP. If prices comes down in July i will buy,if they don't i wont regret.Hope you understand my bias.

Thanks bros.

The question is: What does anyone stands to gain or lose here........looking at Risk Vs. Reward? ......With due respect to OGG?

To me, the Reward far outweigh the Risks.

Other questions are these:
* Is any of the 3 coys disappearing? No!
* Will they be able to stand on their own? Yes!
* Will that affect UACN share price Negatively? Think the answer is still No!

Make Una add other questions join. I don try. grin
Will unbundling happen this year, next or upper?
What if like of zenith drop to #12 with UACN @ #6 which is more juices?
What is the current fair price value of (1)one unit of UACN, (2). Six unit of UAC property and (3). Half unit of UPDC REIT going by their year in and year out eps quarterly performance ?
Investment / Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Chibuking81(m): 12:39pm On Jun 25, 2020
@Tvegas
I focuses on crude price because it's the determinant of market direction. Q2 result comprises of April to June, and one don't need prophet to know that q2 eps of all the stocks will drop against q2 2019, that notion alone will come with reaction, you don't expect upward movement immediately from bad report or result, the price will lower, then after that, within sometimes the recovery will take place in response to anticipated better q3 result against q2.
Example, as crude oil drops in price, most oil companies price drop, and when the crude moves up, the oil companies price will moves up. And so when company report bad q2 the stock will drop.

Remember the word of Buffet.
Warren Buffett stated : “Be fearful when others are greedy, and be greedy only when others are fearful.”

Yes Full bid today and full offer at the end of next day market, jijo always trade with caution. Many are willing to enter the vehicle at 20 kobo, because it is the lowest low, that's why you see millions of bid, but when the goal post move to 23 kobo that means the gang of 20 kobo might not move further because today lower price of it will be at 21 kobo with yesterday closing price of 23 kobo, unless another 20 kobo opportunity show up today, if it closes at 22/21 kobo, then by tomorrow 20 kobo millions bidder gang will surface, its mainly for jijo, since jijo has become the part of the game.
There was a pull back in their 2019 result compared with their 2018 and their q1 result has not yet come out. So one need to follow them with caution to avoid trapping down in the midst of June/July bonanza period, with many juices opportunities in the sound fundamental stocks.

Cham PLC, 20 kobo gang has disappear waiting for another day. And if they closes at 24 kobo today, 21 kobo gang will also disappear, unless the close at 21 kobo / 22kobo then 20kobo gang will reappear again.
One of their director set the standard on March this year by selling 45 million unit worth of shares between 20kobo to 24 kobo, http://www.nse.com.ng/Financial_NewsDocs/29284_CHAMS_PLC_CORPORATE_ACTIONS_MARCH_2020.pdf which seems to be the direction for now from 20 kobo to 24 kobo back to 20 kobo again, perfectly good for jijo till their q1 and q2 comes out, on or before July ending.

Those who want to enter market can watch their back, to avoid enter and better opportunity start releasing itself from next week. From look of things crude oil seems to have build support at $42 dollars, and have high tendency of moving back. Currently at red territory of $40 and Dow premarket is not look good.

Please I need a working contact number of GTL registrars. I am yet to receive my JB dividend after they informed me that the e-mandated form submitted to them has been mandated since 2 weeks ago. I tried calling them using the numbers on their website but no luck. I also send several mails, no reply. Thanks.
That's why am angry with some people who buy JB at #27, whose name are yet to enter JB book of register/shareholders. Like AIICO too, when you know that you can always get a better offer after the reggae. OK now at #18 even #17, the unit you will get will be more than that of bonus and dividend put together, and then with the current situation of covid 19 era, one knows that it will happen. Even those that entered Caverton at #2.60/#2.90 waiting for dividend of 20 kobo, where the stock has giving the Waiter from back door, #1 dividend #2.90 - #1.90 = #1

Don't tempt me.
I have substantial units of fcmb which I can convert to money at any time without delay.

Can't you see the price movement or the charts?
7% at least they have tried for you. You still need addition at these period? Some time it work, and some times it doesn't work. If you take a close look at market, you will notice that most investors are cautiously watching. Waiting for the appointed time, that's why you will see a huge amount of bid in one company at far lower price, and once the stock move up a little and change a lower price goal post to upper level, the next day the bidders will disappear and channel their waiting mode in another stock. Then biggest offer will appeared in that former stock to lower the price again.

Let's see if chibuking's next month Bonanza will touch fcmb and few other stocks that will be bullish when there will be stampede according to chibuking.

But I am always satisfy with 10-15% whenever it gets there,it will trigger.its an automatic setup at my end.

Did you remember your wrong view on FCMB some few years back. Most of my post come to past. Maybe you are among those it doesn't favour. As for NSE market, I am a full time investor who always like to increase his stake in sound fundamental stock at good lower price.

AIICO bonus of 1 for 5 markdown date has been shifted to September 23, 2020. The right issue has nothing to do with the market price. It was stated that the rights will be at the price of 80k per share.
OK have shake again and seen that they have shifted the date to September http://www.nse.com.ng/Financial_NewsDocs/30526_AIICO_INSURANCE_PLC._CORPORATE_ACTIONS_JUNE_2020.pdf

The bonus is 1 to 5 and the right which is the manipulative brother of bonus is 5 to 13. Meaning that their number of their outstanding share that will share their earning will increase heavily.
For me it make no sense, their dividend payment is not interesting before now, they under pay their shareholders, going by their EPs, meaning over the year they have being accumulating more % as retain earning.

The question now are;
What happening to their retain earning?
Why going for right issue?

All the best bro.
Love that, it's a good move, I find the really value of UACN parent company at #2, then with their unbundling move at #2+1.70 UPDC REIT + #1.20 kobo of UAC property 6 to 1@ 20 kobo pending when the bail out will surface.

That is, 2+1.70+ 1.20 = #4.90.

Once I sighted it at #4.90 I will join the vehicle with hope of unbundling that will take place maybe by next year.

Whosoever that is interested to buy and get the allotment of 5 bonus share per 13 holding share of AIICO is advised to hold on, because he will not only allot himself 5 bonus with the same amount he/she holds now without waiting for their registrar to credit his stockbroking account after filling the form including the time wasted, but will get additional bonus maybe more additional 1 or 2 bonus making it 6 to 13 by next week.
