One can only imagine the horror in Kobe's mind when the helicopter engine spluttered, not for himself but for the life of his daughter beside him.

This one really did Hit Home. 15+ years of waking up in the wee hours of the morning to watch this Man and the likes of Timmy D, KG, AI, Tracy, et al play . Right from around Year 7/8 all the way through Sixth form then Uni and now as a Fully grown adult male. Absolutely devastated.

Heartfelt condolences to Vanessa, Natalia, Bianka and Capri. Also His parents Joe and Pam. No parent should ever have to bury His/Her Kids.

Some games were already going on when the news began to filter in. There is nothing the NBA can do in a situation as this especially when it had not been officially verified.

As for Ben Simmons, this kid has all the potential in the world on both ends of the floor. Its coming out even more now that Embiid isnt playing especially on the offensive end. The fact that he can't shoot and still puts up these numbers is telling. Its up to him to take it to the next level, if he can get a consistent jumper the skys the limit for both him and the sixers.

Like I said before injuries are the only reason this is even a discussion. Unlike Tony the Gronk could catch and block like an offensive lineman. The word unguardable gets thrown around too loosely these days but Gronk was unguardable

Gronk had the highest peak of TE(I mean Dude was a Freak of nature) but unfortunately Injuries are parts and parcels of the game. Had He been able to sustain overtime, we probably aren't having this debate but He wasn't.

His Defence has also come on Leaps and bounds this season(Him and Thybulle have to be the most Devastating Combo in the League. Shanahan is a Great Coach. Tbh How can He not be when He has the Legendary Mike as His Dad. The 49ers run offense is straight out of His Dad's playbook. If He can keep the Majority of this Core together, I would not bet against Him surpassing His Dad in terms of Success.
