Stealing what is not worth it and been caught is the worst experience that one could ever face or have. Its funny that of all the things one could steal it is a bunch of oil palm[banga] what a shame and then been caught for it. This morning in Anambra state two boys were caught trying to make away with a stolen bunch of oil palm. According to the information gathered, the boys had stolen it from the farm of a reputable man in the area where they reside and the identity of the owner has been withheld for security reasons. They were caught by a good samaritan who resides very close to the farmland . According to him, he heard noise coming from the farm that night and that he knows the owner of the farm doesn’t come to work at night let alone that late hour and that he had gone out only to see two young men cutting the oil palm from the tree and that immediately, and that he waited for them to finish cutting before he delved into action. Action he failed to disclose and it kept people wondering how he was able to do it all by himself. Some said it was dark magic as the thieves had been seen sweeping the farmland until the whole place got filled with people Well the unarmed thieves were made to carry the stolen item in successions. They were beaten and later on taken to the police station and the man who caught them was rewarded but we still wondered how he was able to catch them. Stealing is a habit that has occupied a large space in so many people’s life. Some take stealing as a hobby while others take it as a source of livelyhood. Which ever way you put it or categorize yourself its still a crime and to back this claim up even the bible forbids it thus the ten commandments has stealing as one of the things God despises. See another picture below It would have been a normal thing to steal at some point but the brevity of this offence is appalling as a pastor’s son and his friend according to people who know him had indulged himself in this act and termed the ring leader of the act. According to reports the boy left[naked] Samuel Okrija and his friend Peter Efe has on several occasions done other heinous things in the town and had been suspected to belong to a cult group. Some people spoke further that the father who is a pastor in one of the church located in the town has had a very hot history of battling. Well the game got over for him when he attempted to steal from the house of God. Yesterday the 10th of May 2015 at about 11pm at night, he and his friend broke into his father’s house and demanded for the money gotten from the offering that took place in the Sunday service. According to his mother she recognized his voice and pleaded with him to stop the act but he instead hit his mother with the gun pretending not to be the one and it was in this process that the security man who guards the church premises shot at him from outside and he missed but he was too slow when his own father pounced on him and his fellow partner who was unarmed took to his heels and was intercepted by the police. It was in the morning that the compound was filled with people and they were surprised to see him tied up naked. His father narrated the whole incident that happened and had pleaded with everyone who had in anyway became a victim of his son’s act promising them that he had arranged for the police to put him in maximum security prison till his ways change. He and his friend has been taken to the station and are expected to stay there for a very long time. EDO; Witchcraft is another dark art in Nigeria that we have got to deal with its so shocking that at the mention of someone been a witch people react negatively to it. Its not a new thing that, its witches that are responsible for almost all the untraced death and accidents in our country or even the political tractions  .Witches even kill members of their own family it's really a thing to be ashamed of. Well just so you know only God would expose them all and their evil doings and talking of been exposed just this morning a witch was caught in the streets of Edo state . According to the people responsible for holding this witch they had said they found her in a dry gutter and had thought she was dead when she was surprised to see it was morning. From all what we gathered, the men had thought she was not in anyways possessed and had wanted to call for help when she suddenly started confessing as to how she got there. On hearing what the lady had said, they had called a crowd to hear what she has to say. She started by narrating how she had got there and that she was supposed to fly to the point where she and her colleagues hold meeting every evening to decide the evil things to do.Mrs Veronica Eza as she was later identified is said to be a mother of three without a father as she had admitted to killing the father of her children and that she had also given her mother a partial stroke for the past 7 months. It became even more shocking when she also confessed to been involved in most of the daily accident that occur on the highway. She was only left out there where she was found because she fell from what she termed to be their source of transportation to the dark world. What a world we are in where you kill your own family and make some useless. Only God will deliver us. Most people had asked to burn her but she was taken to the police station in Edo state. Two Men Arrested For Stealing Tubers of yam in Delta State, it's funny what some people could do in the name of stealing and hunger. Just this morning in Delta state two men Mr Kinsley Isolo and John Eharere were caught stealing tubers of yam in the local market in Isoko south local government popularly called Yanga Market. See More photos below According to witnesses, they had appeared like they wanted to buy food stuffs and that one of them was buying yam and that they had succeeded in distracting the woman who sells the stolen properties. The culprits were caught as a result of the numerous eyes that had seen the whole incident. So far the event took place in broad day light which was enough reason for even passers by to see what transpired. Mr Kingsley ,on seeing the reaction of the crowd took to his heels thus his fellow man in the crime ran his own way too. This caused a ruckus in the market as some men chased after the thieves. They were later caught and brought to the scene where it had all happened. The angry mob immediately swooped into action torturing the men who had been caught inflicting numerous injuries on them it was later on that the police had arrived at the scene and took both men to the station for justice to prevail. The owner of the stall was questioned and she spoke to VIEW NIGERIA saying that they had come to her to price her yams and that she had refused selling since the price they had bargained didn't suit her taste and that she was going to get more yams when she heard screams of thieves only to turn and see that it was her that had been robbed. According to her she Is very happy now that she had recovered her properties and that she believes the police will handle the job well and put those men behind bars where they are meant to be. The All Progressives Congress (APC) has said President Goodluck Jonathan is only shedding crocodile tears with his lamentation over the fact that Nigeria has become more divided along religious and ethnic lines today than at anytime in its history. ”Mr. President, there is no point being sanctimonious about an issue for which you bear the most responsibility. You are the most divisive leader in the history of Nigeria, having ceaselessly exploited the country’s fault lines for political gains,” the party said in a statement,Thursday, by its National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed. It said President Jonathan is the first leader to have turned the house of worship to a political arena, using the pulpit to make political and policy statements and making a show of what should ordinarily be a very personal religious affair. APC said the President’s belated lamentation is aimed at pulling the wool over the eyes of Nigerians with a view to extracting undeserved political gains, especially a few weeks before next month’s elections. ”Where was President Jonathan when his spokespersons and party members sought to pit Christians against Muslims by labelling the country’s main opposition party, the APC, as an Islamic Party? Where was President Jonathan when his spokespersons and party members sought to portray all adherents of a particular faith as terrorists? Luck ran out on a suspected thief this week around Petroleum down, a suburb of Dansoman in Accra, Ghana when he went to rob a certain man in his house alongside his crime partner. The said thief was caught in the process, and instead of the people who caught him to handle him over to the police, they allowed people to gather around them, beat him to a pulp, hung a tyre around his neck, then set him ablaze. His partner was fortunate to have escaped the angry mob, but he wasn’t. A resident also confirmed this to Ghana’s Citi FM saying; “They were actually two in number who attempted stealing from a man’s residence as he was having his bath. The man whose age I can’t tell, was lynched by the residents and lit up while the other escaped.” I just think people should always give others a second chance.
