Nollywood Actor Dave Ogbeni Jets to Ghana,Brother SLUMPS in accra.
Weather it holds water or not, the saying that one should do what he or she has passion for diligently with total commitment and patience first, and after that, the fortune and fame will follow naturally is fast manifesting in the life and career of fast rising nollywood actor Dave ono Ogbeni. The handsome Actor from ughelli south L.G.A in oil rich Delta state has been ranked as one of the fastest growing newschool nollywood actors along side junior pope odowundu,walter anga, ken erics and already established Yul edochie.
That he starred in one of uche nancy's flick titled 'TROUBLED KING' along side patience ozokwor, kenneth okonkwo and nollywood finest mercy Johnson is no longer news as the acceptance of that movie by the nollywood followers as well as Ghanaian/U.K followers of Nigeria movies had gained this Masters degree holder a wide range recognition and fame.
Recently one of his movies titled "MOTHERS BETRAYAL" was released into the market and trust Dave to have performed so well that even his critics had no choice but to pour out commendations on him for doing justice to the character he played in the movie.
Just last week Dave flew out of the country for a new movie shoot in Ghana and hope to return to Nigeria next week to attend to pile of movie scripts waiting for him.Though rumor has it that his presence in Ghana is for another reason that has to do with his health, others said it's because of his immediate brother's ill health and that He abandoned all his appointment in Nigeria to be able to attend to his immediate younger brother who slumped due to hyper tension on his arrival in Ghana from one of his other brothers wedding ceremony in Nigeria two weeks back. what ever, should the latter be the case, we pray for his brother's quick recovery.
Dave is expected to be back to Nigeria by next week though as He will be starring in a new movie starting on the first week of July along side mercy johnson who just returned to action after child birth.

“When early diagnosis was done, it was just a case of renal failure. Right now, my two kidneys are gone. We are running dialysis at the moment. It started two years ago, but gradually depreciated. Most people tend to attribute kidney problem to drinking and smoking. I was told it doesn’t have anything to do with that, because as much as I drink and smoke then, it was casual drinking. Maybe they offer you a bottle of drink and all that but not like I drink 15 bottles a day. I have a friend who has gone through this and he never drank or smoked.

“The whole process of the treatment from pre-process, transplanting process and post-transplanting will cost about $100, 000. In two years I have spent up to N5million which I have been trying to maintain myself. That is why it has been kept secret.”

“God willing, I have like eight to ten weeks more to get the transplant done. It’s strange, I still walk around a little. I can’t eat much though. I trust God and Nigerians for their financial support”
