my dad cannot find his original employment letter but has the photocopy, i used it in the previous application, could it be the reason why they doubted the authenticity of my docs, that was part of there reason.

i submitted proof of tuition and accommodation for the 2 yrs amounting to over 21k CAD, sponsor my dad tax receipt, photocopy of employment letter, bank statement of 4.7mil naira, sponsorship letter, my employment letter and study leave, my credentials, and school letters,
but i observed i mixed up offer of acceptance and college decision letter, now am thinking of including my bank statement of 4.3mil, my landed documents and uploading mainly vital documents. Please how do I handle the purpose of visit issue.

hello nlanders, please I need advice urgently, I was refused visa to canny based on purpose of visit, is there any connection between filling Schedule 1, application for temporary resident visa form and my purpose or reason for traveling, since the form is optional. Please make una answer before I submit to avert further refusal.

Hey! It is possible to extend ur visa as long as u hav an admission letter. If u r going in for a 1yr program, u might b given a 1yr work permit if u decide to work after concludin it which u will b expected to come back home when d period runs out. but if u run a 2 or 3yrs program, then they cld give u 3yrs work permit. So then u cld apply for permanent residence in ur fourth or fifth year. alot of nigerians extend their studies so as to get 3yrs work permit. So its possible to extend ur visa after every program, the longer u stay, the better in terms of work permit.

I dont understand what you mean by a uni without reputation...for your info Canadian top 23 unis rank among the top 500 in the world while none of the unis in my beloved ranks top 1000.
Also, uOttawa ranks top 10 in some subjects (esp Science and engineering) and it also ranks above uManitoba for your information...

Guys with full funding gets called quicker cos everything about "SPONSOR CREDIBILTY AND INSUFFICIENT FUNDS" have been well taken care of (and you and I know that these 2 factors take some time during the verification of the documents)...Other factors can be easily spot-checked without much calls and mails...

I also feel that the ratio of applicants with full sponsorship is very small to the guys on individual sponsorship...(so I guess quota system is out of it here)

am new, this Canadian visa issue is getting me worried, i applied for student visa for my masters, for September classes and was rejected after medicals and interview, cos they think i wouldn't come back. Please can you suggest to me ways I can prove to them that I will come back. I have a 2 year old baby here a job in a hospital, am a nurse. Am only interested in studying.
