Well the government officials are not far from the truth, people are extremely greedy in this country. Though, the same government making mouth, did they realise the cost of running business had hit the roof? Fuel is almost N1,000 which is affecting almost everything in the country.

The type of divorces our society needs is happening but it’s nowhere near where it should be. I mean the divorces where women aren’t staying in physically, emotionally and financially abusive relationships just because they feel too powerless and financially inadequate to leave.

If we say marriage in 🇳🇬 should be limited people who don’t actively hate each other, only 25 percent of the couples will remain married.

Firstly the Yorubas would not be remaining above poverty lines just because of Lagos. It has limitations and guage. Aside Lagos, all other western states are in serious developmental mess. With time the poverty stats will be too choking to all.

Bros your last paragraph is not in context at all. Those are indigenous occupation nd hustles, it's in every state. Atleast all that you mentioned are dominantly done in Anambra by Anambra or igbo people at most over there. We're using the commercial capital Lagos as a case study. The state is very competitive and doesn't give room for laziness as the cost of living and lifestyles are very costly. But then your people still find it comfortable to settle for a little even though they have somewhere else they came from to the central city . That's why their indigenous states remain largely undeveloped or modernized because the boys that could change the old houses are very comfortable living in the cheapest neighborhood and couldn't push there limits. In the west, the people who builds good houses and some sorts of development in their villages are mostly from white collar jobs and abroad based but in the East,
the white collar jobers are the least noticed.
Infact after my last paper at the university,Dad sat me down are warm me not to be lazy like him who first settles and waits for govt to pay him every month as a high school teacher.he warmed that my cert should be my last hope if all fails me.I took the advice wholely and kept pushing my limit. As a graduate I still took 2 yrs to learn a spare parts trade and craft, took another 1 yr to learn another, all this while I live alone in Lagos and pays full bills, drives bolt and keep my spirit high. I never make am but I want to use my youthful strength well. Unlike some people. Even in my local home village. Boys don't sit anyhow or doesn't engage in something, the community and vigilante groups will give you pressure nd hard times and you must work or leave the community. Where I come from home based are doing more well than even Lagos people. Everybody likes money and want to have their own.

The igbo youths who doesn't have the previledge of higher Education always choose the easier way out by engaging in trade and commerce or other handiwork .Thats how an illiterate igbo man will live his best life with so much wealth on his disposable without feeling the hindrance or impact of not been educated would have had in his life.



It all starts from the youth. Go to ladipo. Those boys may not have the means to further education but they choose another part to be productive. Unlike Yoruba youths in the same mushin.



Your youths are setting themselves up for future poverty while the others are setting themselves up for breakthrough even as they're from poor homes.

The region with good distribution of wealth will always be progressive as they keep having learned and healthy society because there's always resources to train their children.

Go to Lagos. Mushin is predominantly populated by Yoruba. In the morning igbo boys gathers at the ladipo market mushin hustling a d struggling to make something for the day while Yoruba boys liters all the inner streets smoking and causing nuisance. Tomorrow when age comes up on them, they'll start cutting people heads to for money rituals to see food chop or bugger like igbo market boy who by luck and hardwork go don upgrade and become more progressive in his business.

So with all the supposed money and influence and power and aura and fame this one has, women's attention is still lacking in his life, because how are you calling women hookers in one breath while admonishing them to be nice and friendly in another?
