President Bola Tinubu visiting the US is a testament to our sovereignty and diplomatic strength. Engaging with the Vice President shows the importance of our bilateral relations. We will continue to address any concerns about Nigeria, including the baseless allegations of Christian genocide, through our diplomatic channels.
Dont spoonfeed us we can eat ourselves, Tinubu Sudden rush to US is a testament of " Superior Power" to checkmate and to unserious leaders on there toes

We all saw how Tinubu declared state of emergency in Rivers Citing " unseen crisis" whereas in some states people are killed in daily yet the president did nothing concrete aside reciting eye service speech

That Trump as decided not to even meet Tinubu, instead push him to his Vice is " Hope" for Nigerians that Trump can not be bought, our president never takes the right path, everything Must be played Politics

May Trump never listen to him, very heartless people

FFK please stop calling terrorists our people. They are not people but beasts. If the intention of the Americans is regime change then civil war is inevitable. If their intention is to steal our resources then they are in for a long thing because Nigerians too open eye. If their intention is to fight terrorism then we might make some progress. Trump is about to make the greatest mistake of his life if he's not careful with Nigeria. It's obvious and it's clear by his statements that these attacks are not state sponsored although it's possible some politicians and religious/traditional leaders are supporting these terrorists but the Tinubu Government is not supporting the terrorists. This issue has been going on over two decades. Invading a sovereign country suffering from terrorism is like stabbing a sick person. Why can't you help towards healing? Why don't the US Government work hand in hand with the Nigerian Government? I think there is a hidden agenda and resource control agenda. It's so unfortunate some IPOB boys thinks that they will benefit from this. How can Trump invade the North because of terrorism and leave IPOB alone? How would he explain to the world that the IPOB terrorists are better than the Islamic terrorists?
Read what you wrote again must you lie, IF you say Tinubu is not supporting "Terrorism" as he shown any challant demeanor against Terrorism
More money to governors, more constituencies allowance to senators But what as Tinubu given military more to as boost

From the days of Buhari, Terrorist sponspors list have being compiled .. why is Tinubu not releasing the list or go after them, any move

They are also going after the sponsors of this blood sucking fulani herdsmen and bandits rampaging the entire country and seems too powerful for the Nigeiran government to arrest or eliminate them

US secretary of defense has also just confirmed they are about to start carrying out military strikes against these terrorists fulani herdsmen and bandits

Things are about to get real

so why should we be praising Tinubu now for something that was On before, stopped under APC watch nd is back On now

If you can't understand why Governors, lawmakers are decamping and tilting towards Mr President, have you asked yourself why industry players like Onyema, Dangote, Elumelu, Otedola and co are heaping praise on Mr President?. This is the first time we have a President who is giving private investors a sense of belonging and repositioning the sector for greater maximization. A president that is helping local investors acquire the offshore assets of international oil companies thereby expanding their horizons. The first time ever we are having first indigenous export terminal. How do I forget Authur Eze who is now the biggest Tinubu supporter in the Southeast, prior to 2023, he wasn't even a Tinubu fan.

Frankly speaking, the poor masses in are the problems of themselves, you see the likes of Dangote, Onyema, BUA, trying to bring down the price of their products but each time prices of foods crashed a little, farmers would start to lament, they fight back every efforts of the Government to bring down food prices just for them to keep exploiting the masses and smiling to the bank.

Are you seriously asking such a dvmb question, Mention the President odetola, Dangote and elumelu opposed or distance themselves from since 1999 .. do you know how much otedola donates to pdp or Was it not from GEJ house Dangote left when he heard Buhari was declared winner

Lets not fool ourselves here, Dangote alone cant meet our demands @least for now, more of our consumption is covered by importation

Marketers will import even @ expensive because the cost burden will total be pass to the consumers/Nigerian, we dont have a choice if they say 1500 then 1500 it is

In Nigeria everybody what to cut corners that why i said marketers will import fuel then mix up with more volume of dangote fuel to sell as imported

even when they buy dangote fuel they will claim its imported cos that where the wide gain is

havent you seen rice sellers repackage local rice as caprice or foreign rice just to make madt profit

Mr Ayiri, I think it's done to protect and encourage indigenous refineries because that's where the solution is to many of Nigeria's economic issues.

You can imagine the FX wasted on importation of petroleum products, accompanied by importation of huge unemployment.

Dangote has said times without number that his refinery can serve our local needs adequately and still have so much to export.

Forget the noise about Dangote becoming a monopoly. Disadvantage of that is insignificant compared to economic problems of exportation. Moreover, more refineries are coming up to dispel the fear of monopoly by one man.

I thought you guys were accusing Tinubu and his men of owning refineries off Malta. How could he still went ahead to implement this policy against himselfhuh

Governance is not easy and cannot satisfy all!
You raised good points But you missed the Facts and Reality/pecularity

Facts : over 60% of our local consumption is from importation by marketers, Dangote havent gotten the coverage yet

Our Reality/Pecularity; There is high tendencies filling station seeing it as an avenue to maximize profit, you buy low quantity of imported fuel mix up large volume of fuel from Dangote then sell it as the imported price

there will be a mix up, both imported n local fuel will be sold at same price citing 15% tax,. our regulatory agencies are living dead

fineboynl:
It’s long overdue. I would suggest 5000 and 10000 for a start. After a years or 2 we can add 20000.

More of 5k then fewer 10k. and make 20k very scares to see.

When obj introduce 1000 the value today would be like 30-40k. People shouted then. Because it almost amounts to 10$ at the time. Considering dollars also devalued too.

If you give anyone 1k then they will look it in the sun or through touch light just to tell you of it value as at then. But not anymore today.

The only alternative is to redenominate the naira by removing 2 zero or bring higher denomination. If you withdrew 100k in the market. You can’t even use it to buy anything tangible which shouldn’t be.

In fact it should have been done last year.

Higher denomination doesn’t translate to more money in circulation. It only means money in circulation is compressed and scares to see around.

In response to people saying it will cause inflation like zimbabwe
it’s not what caused the inflation there. They face inflation by western sanctions. Same sanctions with Venezuela. Ghana face inflation too and they add 10k notes then. Inflation is why they print higher denomination because it pointless to print valueless currency like we are doing today. They print higher denomination to counter the inflation. Not the higher denomination that cause the inflation. If 20 billion is in circulation and you mob it up with higher denomination with the same 20billion it won’t cause inflation. Alternative is to remove some zero from the currency.

Obj add the option to remove some zero but the senate rejected it. So they introduced higher denomination.
The problem with guyz like you is You dont shut up where necessary,

Presently in Nigeria, almost everyone is embracing "cashless transactions" opay, moniepoint e.t.c So what problem is higher domination notes coming to solve

of what benefit is a higher note in an economy drowning in hyper inflation ... we have #5, #10, 20, 50 and # 100 all uselezz n valueless already even 1000 the highest currency cant feed a child 3 meals a day

After Cbn waste our little resources to print higher 10k n 20k notes what do you think will happen to the smaller notes then inflation skyrocket again ... why do the rich hate the poor so much, if you must spend millions in a day do transfer, why cash anyways

Proposing for Higher note is a call for Final burial of " naira" no benefit, zero advantage
