Perfect timing, perfect photos, perfect personality. Who is best to be featured by This day Style Magazine but Davido! The photos were shot by TY Bello.

Ok, basically, I think Bello is a life giver through photography, she sure know which angle or bottom to use at the right time and if you would agree with me, I haven't seen Davido come this through in any of his released photos.

I like the robotic kind of expression and the infusion of African vibe in it - the painting on the ladie's hands.

Imagine if these where pre-wedding photos - the bomb!

Now before the shoot itself, Bello released a video of her and Davido, this suit looked like, maybe he is going to change it into something else, then the next he was being sprayed with different colours of paint, studio play I said, but this defiled my thought, so now I want a multicoloured suit too.

CrimeRRS Arrests Thief Who Has Been Jailed 7 Times For Stealing Driver's Phone (Pics) by chie8(op): 6:48am On Oct 11, 2016
Please I Don’t Want To Be Imprisoned For The Eighth Time And The Third Time This Year – Suspect

In a record chasing history that is close to Guinness book of record, a 41 year-old man arrested by the operatives of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) of the Lagos State Police for stealing the phone of his helper has pleaded that he should be assisted from going to prison the eighth time.

The suspect, Emmanuel Oyewunmi, from Ikale, Ondo State, was arrested by the operatives on Friday night at Ojodu-Berger Bus Stop for stealing N600 and a phone from a bus driver and a passenger.

Oyewunmi, before now, has been on the wanted list of RRS’s operatives for stealing a Samsung Galaxy S4 belonging to one Mrs. Adesewa Oni from her car.

On the said day, Oyewunmi was a park attendant outside Shoprite Shopping Mall, Ikeja, when Oni drove in to attend a ceremony at the Adeyemi Bero Auditorium in Alausa.

For keeping an eye on her car, Oni instead of offering Oyewunmi the N200 he requested decided to drive him to a nearby ATM to withdraw some money out of which she gave him N1000.

Unwittingly for her, she left Oyewunmi inside her car while she gets the money from the ATM. Upon returning, she handed Oyewunmi the N1,000 and she drove off.

The victim, while reliving her experience said “I have driven about five minutes away from Alausa when I felt the urge to make some calls for appointments, and I realised that my phone, Samsung Galaxy S4, was missing. Quickly, my mind raced to him and I realised my folly.

"How could I have left a total stranger in my car alone, leaving documents and valuable items in the car with him? It was just a silly thing to do for me. I traced him back to that spot but he was gone… When I was done looking for him everywhere, I was advised to report the incidence at the RRS’s Headquarters the same day,” she explained.

Oyewunmi on interrogation admitted stealing the phone of his helper while she left him in the car to get money through the ATM last week Sunday.

The suspect said “I was pushed into it by the need to get hard drugs. As soon as I got the phone, I went to Ipodo in Ikeja to get hard drug. It was the hard drug dealer that bought it from me. He bought it N8, 000:00. I spent the rest on drug. I was so pained that I forgot to shave and barb from the proceeds of the stolen phones.”

He explained further, “hard drug has spoilt my life. It was the cause of my rejection by my wife, and my father. I got hooked on drug while I was young and getting out of it has been extremely difficult for me… Some faith based non-governmental origination have assisted me through rehabilitation in the past, I have always gotten back into it. Drug has been the predominant cause of my imprisonment…. If I am imprisoned now, it would be the eigth time and third time this year.”

On his second offence, Oyewunmi admitted stealing a phone and N600 from the bus driver and a passenger but pleaded that he was under the influence of drug.

Confirming the arrest of the suspected thief, the Police Public Relations Officer, Superintendent Dolapo Badmos, urged Lagosians not to expose themselves to criminals. The suspect has been transferred to the Lagos State Taskforce for prosecution.

PoliticsReason Wike Prevented Arrest Of Federal Judge Uncovered:Rivers Professionals by chie8(op): 4:31pm On Oct 08, 2016
Reason Gov. Wike prevented the arrest of a federal judge uncovered, condemned by Rivers Professionals

The Rivers Professionals for Good Governance (RPGG) – an NGO committed to over sighting the activities of the Rivers State Government and the 23 LG Councils – has uncovered the real reasons why the Department of State Services (DSS) attempted to arrest a judge of the federal high court, Port Harcourt (name with-held) that lives on 35, Forces Avenue, Old GRA, Port Harcourt in the wee hours of today.

We can authoritatively state that information made available to us by our security informants, the federal high court judge in question is suspected to have collected 250 thousand USD bribe money from Gov. Nyesom Wike for the purpose of giving favourable judgments to the Rivers State Government and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) over some critical court cases such as the Tai rerun election matters and others which are either before the judge already or will end up before the judge and other federal judges.

We are also aware that the decision by the DSS to strike before dawn was to impound the said 250 thousand USD (exhibit) which was still in the home of the judge.

Our source confirmed that the judge made contact with Gov. Nyesom Wike as soon as security operatives surrounded his residence. This explains why the governor personally mobilised his associates to obstruct the arrest of the judge and the possible retrieval of the 250 thousand USD which was still in the judge’s home mainly to provide opportunity for the exhibit to be taken away.

The RPGG, as a watchdog for good governance, regrets that the security agents succumbed to the blackmail by Gov. Nyesom Wike and vacated the premises. We condemn in strongest terms the obstructionist stance exhibited by the governor of Rivers State. The event of today has convinced us that Gov. Wike systematically corrupts the judiciary to do his bidding.

We recall that the governor has been accused severally of obstructing security agencies from doing their job. He is accused and we now believe that the governor shields key criminals such as Solomon Ndigbara and many others. Now the governor has moved to physically shield judges he has compromised.

In Ogoni, he confronted and blackmailed soldiers to discontinue the cleansing of the area of criminals and hoodlums. Same was the case in Orashi region and elsewhere.

The RPGG also agrees that Gov. Nyesom Wike, by his conduct and utterances, inflame and exacerbate the present precarious security situation in Rivers State.

Indeed, it is very curious why Gov. Wike would obstruct the Federal Government from arresting its erring employees. It can only mean that there is an unwritten collaboration between the governor and such employees of the Federal Government. Of course, it must be an unholy collaboration for that matter.

We call on the DSS and other security agencies to realise that their loyalty is to nation first. Therefore, we call on them to disregard and effectively waive aside, by any means whatsoever, any obstructions to carrying out their constitutional duties irrespective of any possible collateral outcome.

Rivers Professionals for Good Governance (RPGG) enjoins security agencies to operate within the law without acquiescing to the kind of manipulations to good governance currently being perpetuated by the Nyesom Wike-led Rivers State Government.

President General Secretary

PoliticsMajor Erasmus, A Soldier Killed In Borno By Boko Haram (pics) by chie8(op): 6:18am On Oct 08, 2016
Major Erasmus lost his life during anti-Boko Haram military operation in Borno state.

His friend, Raphael Edem, mourns the untimely demise of the gallant Nigerian officer: "The most painful goodbyes are the ones that are never said and never explained. May God rest your soul and may your ultimate sacrifice not be in vain. .
Edem, who is a media aide to Governor Udom Emmanuel, took to his Facebook wall to pour his heart out regarding the irreplaceable loss of his friend and a Nigerian hero in his own right. According to Edem, Major Erasmus was at one time the Second-in-Command at the Nigerian Army Brigade in Ibagwa, Abak Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom state, until he was posted to Maiduguri, some months ago, to join troops in the eye of the storm, where the Boko Haram war raged the most.He wrote..

'Today, I am immensely sad. Today, I have lost a friend. Today, I will just let these tears flow, in the knowledge that I can't do much more. I met Major Erasmus in January this year. We were preparing for the annual ritual of the Armed Forces Remembrance Day. He was the 2/ic at the Brigade in Ibagwa and was coordinating the activities and introducing me to the nuances of military parades and traditions. Friendly, welcoming, affable, very polite, ever-smiling and soft spoken. It was difficult to believe that this young man of about my age, with a baby face and an innocent, almost clerical demeanor was an army officer. I don't think I have ever met a more friendly and gentlemanly officer!

We struck and instant bond and kept in touch after the ceremonies. He was very intelligent, well schooled within and outside the country where he shone like a millions stars, and going by the testimony of his colleagues that I got to meet at different times, he was an excellent officer who was very professional and good at his job. He invited me to the tombola night at Ibagwa, and we kept in touch despite his frequent trips to Kaduna to finalize his Masters degree programme. Anybody who met him while not in uniform would be hard pressed to believe he was a military man, let alone an army officer.

He told me about his transfer to Maiduguri, but my apprehension about that posting was tempered by the Government's assurances that Boko Haram had been routed in the North East. Erasmus assured me that we will get to see sometime soon. Alas! That is not going to happen as I woke this morning to the tragic news that he had been killed by an ambush in Maiduguri. And that is how we have lost this young, fresh-faced, bachelor officer. Today, the enormity of the task and sacrifices made by our armed forces stares me in he face. The career path they have chosen is something everyone should respect and appreciate.

Adieu Major Erasmus, Adieu my friend! Adieu officer and gentleman par excellence. The most painful goodbyes are the ones that are never said and never explained. May God rest your soul and may your ultimate sacrifice not be in vain!.

Fayose distributes delivery kits to expectant mothers, settles patient bills

The wife of Ekiti State Governor, Her Excellency Mrs Feyisetan Fayose, has embarked on another round of hospital visitations, settling of hospital bills of indigent patients and distribution of delivery kits (mama kits) to expectant mothers across the state.

This round of the program commenced in Ekiti South Senatorial District where expectant mothers and indigent patients from Ekiti East, Gboyin, Emure, Ise/Orun and Ekiti Southwest Local Government Areas gathered in Ekiti State Specialist Hospital Ikere Ekiti to benefit from the exercise.

The program was part of activities set aside for marking the second year anniversary of Governor Ayodele Fayose's tenure as Ekiti State Governor and the 20 years anniversary of creation of Ekiti State.

Mrs Fayose also paid a visit to Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital , Ado Ekiti where patients and expectant mothers from various health facilities in Ado Ekiti environs, such as Comprehensive Health Center, Oke Iyimin, Mother and Child Specialist Hospital, Ile Abiye hospital and other health facilities also gathered to receive the first lady's usual sense of largesse and act of benevolence.

The wife of the governor seized the opportunity to dedicate the success of the administration so far to God Almighty. In her words, "God is the pillar that has been holding us and backing us". She also called on Ekiti people to continue praying for government of Governor Ayodele Fayose to have a successful completion of tenure.

Mrs Feyisetan also urged Ekiti people to always visit hospitals for checkups to avert preventable illness and death; describing self medications as the fastest route to untimely death which she forbidden among Ekiti people and Nigerians at large.

The program is a continuation of an exercise embarked on by the wife of the governor, which had recorded close to two thousand beneficiaries across the length and breadth of the state within the last few months.
