You can make money with your programming skills by starting small, from people around you, offer them your web dev. services at least you should have created more than 5 sites before moving on to major clients because they always want to see what you've done. For mobile app dev. you can start learning objective c or java, although I use java, c# or swift for developing apps for major platforms but if you think java is hard to learn then you can start with your js,HTML and CSS to develop hybrid apps.
Thank u very much for ur advice . I appreciate it

Hi chiemmaxy2

If you can put together a decent website you will need to canvass for customers. Best place is online because people online are more aware of the value of website design.

Charge small to start of with say no more than 12 - 15k just so the market can get to know you.

websites you want to focus on building are mobile websites, blogs and membership sites (if you can handle PHP well)

Start of putting together WordPress blogs for people and registering email accounts so as not to confuse your situation as you learn the ropes.

Get a robust hosting platform, I use SmartWeb.com.ng but you

Go to forums with a signature announcing your business, blog and do SEO for a website you have built for yourself is important people wont take you seriously unless they can see past work.

Go onto social media platforms and get into discussions with people who can be potential customers, not just web design groups but small business owners, no hard selling just tell them what you do and continue you discussion on related issues.

Remember at your age getting consistent customers will be a little tricky but if you can show people real ability with time you will be fine.

For making little money, Try Fiverr.com or other freelance site.

For Mobile apps: Android application development and maybe iOS.

Spread your legs, open your laptop, open your browser, type in GOOGLE.COM

Search for "Android Application Development for newbie"

do same for iOs (That's after mastering Android ...).

Thanks bro. I appreciate it

As far as we are concerned there is no such thing as Eze ndigbo Lagos because every igboman is a king unto himself therefore we disregard this 'handwashing'....Come weekend igbos will troop out in their hundreds of thousands with their life jackets to exercise their franchise as Nigerians living in Lagos,Nigeria ...Gaddem that Oba.
I totally agree. Is he trying to threaten us. Let the igbos show him dat we are not endangered species in nigeria because we choose to remain silent and live in peace

This is one of the most disturbing and disgusting statements I've heard someone so highly placed make, all in the name of canvassing support/votes.

I can wager my annual income she hadn't a shred of doubt her husband was gonna win being the incumbent. She underestimated the will of the Nigerian people. Well, she got served and I really don't bloody care where she is at this moment or what is happening to her.

Ps: regarding the Oba's scandal, I think we should soft pedal a little. A lot of folks are still bitter from the experience of March 28 and might wanna cease any opportunity to ensure the transition never takes place. They (politicians) just might kill a couple of South Westerners in the SE prompting a reprisal in the SW and before you know it, we get a serious sectarian crises in our hands, and then everything else the likes of Orubebe and Asari had desired would follow.

As long as Buhari has yet to be sworn in, we aren't out of the woods yet.

Save us the preaching.

GEJ had no choice than to concede defeat because the whole world was watching. The worst he could have done was to go to court.

APC have not easily conceded defeat because PDP always rig and we all know that. They rig using the State Security outfits such as the military, the police and DSS.

GEJ is a democrat and he oversaw Ekitigate and the sacking of 19 lawmakers by four?

GEJ is a democrat and he oversaw the Governors Forum election where 16 was greater than 19?

GEJ's democratic credentials were next to zero. Conceding defeat to GMB is the only thing that has saved him from further ridicule and you guys should stop hyping it because he got no choice really.

I totally disagree. GEJ is a hero . Father of new domcratic era
