The sugar has a huge potential, if you're following up with backward integration and the investment he has made in Nasarawa and Niger. Rice will boom also just sit back and look. The potential is huge from fertiliser to oil nd gas.

Yes, Sentiments and Fiction aside, no Nigerian company both public and private is single handedly worth 40 Billion USD.
I saw an earlier thread, that is populated by false valuations and I decided to debunk with facts.

The entire NGX, Nigerian Stock has a market capitalization of about 26-Trillion NGN ( 63-Billion USD --- 1USD/415 NGN rate ) divied up by 120+ companies.
Dangote Cement, DANGCEM remains the biggest Nigerian company by market cap. with a valuation of about $9 Billion. The company is also the largest component of the private Dangote Group and 70% percent of Dangote's net worth.

By extrapolating calculations into 30% of Dangote's recently appraised net worth, it is evident that Dangote Group falls below the $40 Billion mark.

As is convention, Public companies in all economies are worth more than Private companies in the same market. Therefore, the opinion that any Nigerian company is on par with the recent sale valuation of Twitter is rather optimistic but in actuality, false.

Dangote group will definately worth more that if he want to sell. How much is Twitter before this offer? The buyer will always look at future potential b4 placing such money. Dangote investments are very profitable and have potential to grow year in year out.
