It was slooooowwwwww, the road was free and it kept dragging its feet, the engine was so calm and stable. Comparing it to the trips I got from the fast n furious way we drive in Nigeria. This was worse than brt. I got bored staring out of the window.
Though I did have enough time to meditate and think and plan but stating out of the window and seeing one tree not going away as quick as it comes. You remember the gravity that pulls you back when you drive fast, I barely felt it.
Though it safe to drive at the speed limit and the impact from Collision is lesser when the driver either loses control or dozes off. Lol
But still when you look forward and see no vehicle ahead with No Single POTHOLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You start to expect more in terms of speed, you know
It reminds me of the saying.....to whom much is given, much is expected.

Let me update you all,
I visited Galway, after hearing how Edsheeran sang about the city. He kept repeating Galway girls, I decided to take a little break off and see for myself. I'm not exactly in the Galway city. I'm currently at the county. The county is the area surrounding the city, Dublin has lots of counties, same as Galway.
My friend lives in Loughrea(pronounced as Lockrea)

Small town, big churches, great school, one huge supermarket(Aldi), The Aldi is super cheap, if it was in Nigeria, market women will be put out of business.
We only have Spar in Nigeria, even here, spar is ridiculously expensive. One good thing they're not out of business is cos theyre smaller and scattered all over. It might be easier to get to them for emergency items incase lidl or Aldi was far. Another reason is that they host the An post, the An post which is the local country's federal post office have a partnership to host them so people can post items, send money around, and receive items. When I used to collect government money. I go there to get it in cash.

The spar just give the An post a portion in one corner of the space the size of a Danfo. Yeah really!!!!
And also they always have a ATM, very functional and utilitarian in perspective.

For an Economist like me, I never buy a thing there, I did in my first day in Ireland. Was hungry after the flight and wanted to sleep by 6am, it was getting dark o, my circadian rhythm kicked in, I just walked 5min there and bought a meal, serve your self style. They charged per kilo I guess, theyll weigh it and that's your bill. I posted it the beginning of the thread.

I'm having great food here, my host is irish and a great cook. I had my first Irish breakfast here, I insist on small portions.
It helps to keep my tummy flat and in great shape.
I also avoid beer, I only drink whiskey and Rum.

I Checked my weight here in the bathroom, i weighed 85kg. I was shocked. I used to be in 70kg.

I will have a full Irish breakfast tomorrow and will post it.
The typical irish breakfast consists of bacon, sausage, egg, white n black pudding, steak, mushrooms( not like the type we eat in Nigeria, it has the texture of a boneless meat), buttered bread, one fried tomato (whole), gosh. There was no pepper, no salt, and I love it.

If I wanted to eat that in a restaurant, theyll charge me at least €10. While it cost my host, €1.50 to make my portion.
It was great I came here, I'm having a go at various food I will have to travel around to taste, for free!!!!!!!!.

Theres something really interesting here, it's really fun to see. I would have taken shots of it in the street but I felt it will be very rude. Just imagine if I'm caught.

There's this trend I see among elderly folks here, they walk about with this thing they push around, a local person will call this wheelbarrow, lol.
It's like an upgraded version of a walking aid for those with arthritis, it's a lot common for older women.
For men, he has to be so old and bent before they use it or when they have a physical problem.

This is very utilitarian and functional than for aesthetic reason, the men go about with their walking cane and are judged by the society. The aesthetic and beautiful walking cane is fast loosing ground. Even those who use it feel shamed.

In a place like Nigeria, once you sleep and see the walking cane or stick, it's to embark on thirty days Dry fasting n prayers.

The walking aid these women use has wheels at the base, so you just push it, a lot of them come with a small platform with little foam so you can sit on it when you're tired. You can can hang your handbag on it.

Most of these elderly people live alone, so go, buy transport their shopping home themselves. Remember that in this country, everyone is equal. You can't just get a house boy, you'll need to pay at least €15,000 to him a year. Convert that to naira and your head will correct. The minimum age here is working.
It's like a bicycle, only your leg is pushing it, it has a break system so the old mama does not ride it down downhill in top speed, hahaha.
If there's no break, 1000 ways to die will rush and add it to their list.

So they have another type of walking aid with a gap for storing things, they'll be able to push their groceries home simply with it. See how life is. Instead of focusing on Maids and security and paying heavily while in our case, we pay them peanuts, they rather spend money on robots and technology to aid humans in their weaker days.

I've taken more risks than that, I've experienced a gun pointed at me, I've braved the Perilous road between Zamfara and Kebbi state at midnight after the park chairman repeated told me that I shouldn't waste my life as a corper. I ended up going in the journey and we met the fulani herdsman, they posed as soldier and blocked the road, my driver just thought as much and turned the vehicle around.

The thing that was pushing me to take risks melted.
We ended up chilling in a small village till it was daybreak. We got to the small checkpoint, it was no more there. The soldiers wont leave a checkpoint like that.

Well, you'll have to do pre masters for TWO YEARS or post graduate diploma, also two years for Canada. Then do your masters for another TWO YEARS, By the time you have your masters, I would have gotten 3years working experience, settle down finally and Wife would have been carrying my baby in her tummy.

Bear in mind there are lots of fake universities in canada offering degree. You've got to be careful

That's the way oooo, I used to live by the Sawmill as a kid till when I was in my senior secondary school. those of you who are in lagos will know it, you'll see it from the Third maintain bridge towards Yaba.

I was about to pounce on them before I remembered to take the shot.
I ordered some stuffs from Boohoo. They're good quality, if not I'm earning in Euros now, I would have passed out after I saw the total.
I paid about €11.45 for Premium delivery. It means that throughout this year, any order I make will appear within 7 working days. Sometimes 3.
This is possible for the Ireland version of boohoo. Theres lots of discounts as stores want to let go of their stock and get new ones.
Some of items arent available i need so I added them to my wishlist.

I got back home from my calls and found these in the hallway. It's safe, not like in Naija that when your posts arrive, your neighbors might think it contains valuables and obtain it.
Maybe that's why the post office won't drop it in my house in Nigeria but rather at the Post office where the lady that attends to me will eye the person that wants to pick up the package and stick a price based on sentimentality.
They have various criterium to stick a price, how smooth your skin is , If you brought a car there, if youre speaking Queens English or Queen Latifah English, if you wore a shades, IF YOURE LOOKING LIKE A YAHOO BOY, prepare to empty your pockets, if you wore those kinds of perfumes that is like a Pandemic, once it touches another person, they have a measure of it that goes and spreads the love.

My first taste of these covert profiling was when I was serving and the Policeman was charging me 30k to bring in a suspect. What happened was that my room was burgled and we all knew who it was, I reported to the police, they just asked me to bring 30k, han han, after losing some valuables, you want to rip me off the more.
I asked the elderly man to walk with me and begged him, I cant do without my gadgets that were stolen, I'll have to travel all the way to Lagos to get new ones. Plus all the information that I will lose.
It was then he told me all these things, that I'm from a RICH home I should call my RICH parents to send the money. I switched to pidgin and did it for 5k.

Judging from the way the lady at the post office eyes are very quick and piercing and the way she prescribe the fees, like how a doctor prescribes drugs to an ailing patient. I began to notice these things in the market, whenever I speak proper English and I bring the food items home, my mum will shake her head and say they duped me. I started wearing crocs and speaking pidgin and they would roll well with me and I was able to bargain better.

Whenever I was at the post office to pick up my orders from aliexpress, I would wear black dunlop, dress simple and approach the lady. It wasnt far from my house. I have paid for shipping, I'll now pay another one again.

Back to Ireland....
There was a time the post man came to my house and no one was home to open the door so they can dump the items. The postman dropped a pickup form through the pidgeon hole. Which I took to the post office collection point and got my order without paying a dime. Life here better

3. Sure, Spousal Visa works, I know 2 people who came with it. But the one sponsoring must have a livelihood to support. In the cases I know, the sponsor was working full time.

I've been following the Nairaland trend here for while, people kill all sort of Exotic and rare animals which might be endangered. Not a week go by that we dont see an animal killed.
And considering the Pandemic many think came from eating wild games or the Lab, this practice of posting it here shouldnt be encouraged.

If you kill for the sake of Survival, I'm not against you, but do you have to post it?
I have always felt better when such animals are eaten at least, they're serving a purpose.

A manatee was found I think in Kebbi, I was so happy the Emir protected the animal. I still felt that there would have been more Jubilation and applause if thst animal was killed and posted here with its body parts on a BBQ grill.

Social media has an addiction for making people hustle and bustle for the fame and it has brought many to the Stardom. Before you know it, many will take up all sorts of weapons of destruction and go after any animal, Snuff out the life, snap and upload.
They won't go after chickens and goats because they're too common, the more scarce an animal is, the more the Applause it gathers here.
Obviously if you have a smartphone and internet connection, you can afford those meats so there may not be need to consume them.

My friend, do you know how I've fantasized about being in a car chase in Nigeria. I can try it but holdup won't let me enjoy it. I personally decided not to get a driver's license, though They didn't Caught me . I dont drive around frequently. Even if the police end up catching up to me. Plan B, we know what that is.


This place we have free roads, just like GTA, but there's no way I'll going Scot free, they have proper systems in place for that.
