One fun fact here is that it's very hard to know if a car is old, compared to..... There's less hustle and bustle here. You'll have to examine it critically, look at the paint, check out the mileage, and all the sorts. I can remember when I was passing by garage, and commented on how cool these news cars were. My Guys told me that they were used. If I didn't know that, and planned to buy, I would have been ripped off. The car below, that's what our Polithiefcians drive, they use it for construction work here, catch ya laters. 11 Likes

lagusboyyy:Before you connect to a streaming service here, you need a TV license. I've never had a TV, my trusty laptops does all that, games, movies, school work, news, ...... Netflix is more popular here as there's unlimited Internet access in homes. Most modern TVs can be connected to the Internet inorder to access youtube and other streaming services. Ideally, cos I watch aljazeera, BBC.... I'm supposed to have a licence, but it's not as strict here as that oh UK. 4 Likes |

JafunmiFX:Haaaaaa. Printing press here will be a hard market. Library does that for us. And there's going to be huge cost of production, taxes, and other. It's hard to break into here as the public libraries does that, universities have printers scattered all over with the printers connected to wifi. 2 Likes |

Danny6552:I'm good o, Racism isn't as glaring as the one in US, These guys don't have stress for that. The the Guards don't care, I've made lots of mistakes here on the road, especially as they drive on the left here, I once charged into an oncoming traffic with a bike, I wasn't used to the road yet and was enjoying the cruise. I don't wear the visibility vest that cyclist are supposed to wear, even their citizens don't either, ive not been stopped. I am yet to me stopped by anyone to check if I'm legal. I know there's institutional racism, but I have to get their passport to feel it, might come in the time to get a mortgage, loan, or a Full time job, but my naija folks here are pushing. I told you guys how I went to a church here and felt ashamed cos I was almost the only one that was walking. I was so glad for the spirit within that told me not to cycle. Lol The ushers might shoo me when I pull up. Lol. Omo dating a black girl here, e go hard............ 5 Likes |

Sadly, these feels like a ghost town thanks to the Lockdown. The residential areas has more life there. The area is quiet, bigger roads and it's very very spacious. I took these shots more than two months ago. So that's was like a month after the Lockdown started. 5 Likes

vhuqnl: I'm on my way to Blanchardstown from inchichore, I walk about 50 min, it was a wonderful experience. That rope was too long for Comfort, I'm a man tho, but the Horse was looking at me eyeball to eyeball, I actually admire the colour, but if e vex, I don die o. Thanks for your observation. I will not let you go yet, lol All the pictures I have posted here before this were from the city centre. I didn't even take them properly. It's only when I'm walking somewhere and I'll just snap while working. Due to the Lockdown, I'm yet to do any tourist cruise. The only time I relaxed was when I went to a county in Galway. So the city is very ancient, they love their old buildings. If you buy a historical building and want to renovate, you have to get a permit to break something. The engineers, carpenters won't touch it themselves. This is to protect their heritage and culture. The only heritage in Nigeria in the form of a building Is the first storey building in Nigeria which is in badagry. So many storey buildings have crumbled. While the first one is still standing, the reason why Lagos is keeping that first storey building on its foundation, not feet, lol, is exactly the same reason why dublin love their National Heritage. The country gets lots of money from Their OLD souless buildings Tourism and Culture transfer and lots more. Do you think Nigeria will be where it is now if Thousands of Chinese, Americans, British folks Bombard our cultural site? You know how much you'll get when you charge these tourists for their services in Dollars, Yuan and Pound sterlings 12 Likes 1 Share

Samuelsegs:Well for quality one it's from about €350. But it's worth it. Going by the standard weekly bus fare, €20 has gone, times it for a month, that's €80. That's a lot actually. I won't advise the electric scooter, cos of the small wheels and when you run over a small stone, you might land on the floor with a thud in proportion to your weight. Plus you're only standing like Abraham Lincoln statue and moving around like The Nun in Ed and Lorraine movie. I can still remember, last year, during my last few months in Nigeria. I usually take my dog for a walk in the evenings, the brt road isn't as active as its quite narrow and the brt only remembers they have a lane only during rush hour and hold ups. So it's a fun place to take a stroll, jog and exercise. Who did I offend that I'll start running up and down.... only a fool runneth when no man pursureth, hahahah . I just plug my ears and walk. So on one of those evenings, I was with this other family dog that's a very timid. And one fellow with a skating shoe was cruising past. I have never seen my dog so agitated. I almost dropped the chain and run away like a fool, lol. Maybe the dog thought it was a ghost cos he wasn't in motion like how other two legged folks move. Just joking o, exercise is good for you. Lol I would prefer the Electric bike, prices starts from €450, for good one. Just when you're tired of pedaling having gotten the needed daily torture your legs needs. You can surrender to the power of Electricity while you thank Faraday for brainstorming about harnessing the power of Lightening. Also when you get to the hills, you'll simply zoom. No one needs to tell you how miserable you'll be when battery of the scooter runs out. The tires of a bike is bigger, and wherever the wheels of a bike goes, you know with confidence that it's yours. 9 Likes

abelorode:Thank you, keep following. Study visa is about 25k, when you combine all the extra naija wieghts and rubbish that do beset us, it comes close to 50k. Same thing with international! Passport that's officially 19k. Which they do grossly for 35k and you get in a week. If you want to go by the rules and pay the official amount, if it's possible to apply for visa without passport, your visa will be out and your passport will become prayer point. 3 Likes |
