You expect Nigerians to put *wet floor* for you ?? LMAO .. omo this country na OYO oo .. if you like fall break head.. Hand and leg .. nobody go answer you .. if you fall you stand up clean body .. LMAO
One thing here is that elderly folks here are so independent. Very very independent.
As long as they don't have stroke and can get up. You'll see them up and about gardening, getting groceries with that contraption I showed you, cooking and taking great care of their house.
So wet floors will be a huge hazard to them.
I can remember in Nigeria, when I was very young, and there's a stone or any sharp object in the foot path, It's the elderly folks that pick them up. Not only for the little children that run around happily but for themselves. If they roll over it and fall. They may never ever get up again. Cos their bones heal very slowly.....
Most elderly folks in Nigeria won't be hustling like the ones here except ofcourse the ones with no one to take care of them and have to struggle for daily food.

Depending on your level of study, post graduate work permit is given. A BSc is 1 year PGWP while an MSc and above is 2 years PGWP.

Well said
Thanks for the answer.

It will shock you all about the visual effects of these two shots.
I took them at night within a minute.
It will appear as tho I took the first one during the day and came back to take the second one.
Phones have really advanced so fast that the older generation can't keep up easily. It's bored kids who are on the hunt for new experience that are able to sit and with lots of trial and error master the smartphones. Then they teach their parents. Lol. Yes we teach our parents.
When my dad got his first car. We were all excited. My dad saw it as a medium to move from point a to point b. I saw it as a mystery that needed to be unlocked.
We had an isolated place where it was parked. Everyday after I get home from school.
I would grab the keys and rush to the car. Pressing every button, trying to see what they do.
My dad even upto now doesn't take the car to work. His friend takes him. He doesn't like to drive in the rush hour to VI. He prefers to relax, sleep and chat away. I think I got the trait from him.
He only drives for leisure. Taking the family to church on Sunday.
Then he takes me to work on Saturdays as I'm the only son, for just a few hours when he has some spill overs. The road is always free. I grab my laptop to download games and movies of up 75gig with the wifi. Lol.
So basically the car is mine during the weekdays, I'll fiddle and press press. I mastered the electronics that I became his first mate. He always prefer me in the front passenger sit then.
My mum had to sit at the back and envy me then till my dad mastered the controls. Women and front passenger sit eh.
Parents know how to use resources and time out to keep us in check.
Why can't we use our technical know how in showing them how to operate phones to let them do our bidding. Yes we can.
Phones can seriously frustrate them, they'll be loyal then and ask for our help. We can then smile and make our request known, haha.
But it's not happening because of experience.
Our parents are super smart. This is why an an uneducated man can hire both the learned and educated to do biddings.
I heard sometime that dangote hired PhD holders to drive his truck.

From the pictures, I took the first one with the flash on, the second one was taken without the flash on but with the aid of the streetlights. After I saw it some days later, I thought I went back in the morning to snap it again until I checked the date.

In this country, they warn about things like this. After mopping the floor in a place where people pass like in an eatery or bank hall. They always put a sign. I'll snap one I have in my kitchen so you'll see what I mean. If one slips especially the elderly and fall and break his bones, that establishment will be sued.
Paint hazards can happen too. Getting the stains off my clothes will be a huge hassle. So we see warnings like.

I'd like to know if we have such in Nigeria.
Put that in the comment section.

Because when I was there jan, I no see o.
These are the things that bring our life expectancy low.
A 1000 ways to die.....:-)
Our leaders will come here see this things and commot eye.

Verify your identity first.
Nairalanders are not kick back to randomly ask questions at will to some random person.
You need to be trusted before you are asked question, this is an anonymous forum, so we tend to do things with high level of caution. We need to prove your circumspection to details pertaining to your country Ireland.
Rather than asking us to ask you question, it will be better you create a thread and post every thing that you think we should know about Ireland.
.
Once you've created the thread, we can then ask you questions.
Once again Welcome to Nairaland Forum.
I'm very proud of the people I have on this thread, you can see decency and maturity overflowing.
Nice one bro.

God dammit... I like food die.. PIZZA FAN here.. I'd easily get fat in two months
i still doubt €1 for a full PIZZA it's really too cheap, I've seen the one of €4

As for the breakfast... The Irish potato and steak is what attract me most I hate onions.. I'm sure I wouldn't be able to eat that in public cuz I go select those things wey I no like out.. and as for the Italian food.. Don't tell me you eat those Leafs... lol.. I'd only eat the Cheese and nothing more..

Thanks a lot for showing us this... God bless your good work..

And how are your New irish friends treating you.. Compared to Nigerians, Hope you haven't by any chance encountered Racism.. Still expecting pictures of the City tho..

Pizza lovers, the one below is 69cents in Aldi, less than 400 naira.
This is it frozen
You can add yummy onions, mushrooms, pepper, meat and others to the toppings.
And bake for 17min

Lol
That's how 5 star restaurant serve food oooo.

You'll will leave there satisfied but not full.
Remember models and rich folks go for these.

Unlike Nigeria, in a developed country, people go to restaurants not to fill their bellies till the next time they get money, they go to the restaurant for the experience.
The aim is to present food as Art and not as a means for survival.

The Full Glorious Irish breakfast

I took my time to savor every bite and variety.
I'm definitely gonna upgrade my breakfast menu.
It tasted so good, especially when it's hot.

After eating this, I had to sit down and appreciate life for making me taste that, I wasnt very full and I wasnt hungry, it looks small but it kept me full for long.
My friend asked me what I wanted for breakfast. I simply requested for it again. It was delightful.

Me i dont like to cook, cooking has tire me, I swear.

This food looked so good, smells nice, I forgot to ask about the name, I just dived in and I remembered you guys, I had to snap the dish from someone that hasnt started to eat.

The round yellow stuff is Irish potato, theres streak, vegetables...Zucchini, sweet peppers(yellow), mushrooms, and onions with a brown gravy sprinkled with salt and black peppers.

This black pepper thing sef eh, e tire me, its hot in anyway, it has its taste tho.
The sweet pepper. has various colors, yellow, red and green, not chilli, just sweet

It has a strange Italian name plus salad.i forgot it quickly hahaha.
Made with Cheese, basil leaves, and fried tomato sprinkled with black peppers.

Its was cool, lots of flavors and very light and quick to make.
Restaurants offer arts instead of food, the food has to look very beautiful for your friends on Instagram, you never get full so you can check the menu again to unlock another of those complex dishes with your money.
After devouring the food above, It was as if i didnt eat anything. I wont lie, they call it something you eat before the main course, appetizers.

an Italian dish, once they add a complex name to a food, the price goes up. They dont waste time. There are experts that sit and form these names, you can see Peruzzi de Busaras salad for simple cuisine like cheese salad, and it will attract a high prize.

The food above can be €30 in a high class restaurant that makes it, while my host made mine n his for Less than €3.

Finally got the name
Its Mozzarella Salad.

My friend said that the Italians have a different and seductive name for it.

The way you describe the breakfast makes me hungry, like seriously how come do your host compress €10 to €1.50 for real...
Bacon, sausage(hotdog),egg,(i dont know black pudding),steak, buttered bread, fried tomato just for breakfast Mannnn I Cant wait to be in IRELAND(As for usa, gun violence and constant racism they make me fear that place lol )

please share of pictures of Galway and also the breakfast and do not forget to label

thanks for making us see IRELAND through you

Lol
Well, that's the thing, two weeks ago, I said something about the difference between Eating out and cooking the food yourself. It's very very cheap to buy groceries. Food here is cheap
What is not cheap is service like barbing, cooking the food, bus driving, car repair, taxi, hair dressing, ha, to plait your hair might cost you about €80, this is for women o, if you're coming here, buy your wigs, also some buy wigs and all plus Extensions in aliexpress. Haircut for me is €10, I got recently got a friend that does it for €5. I still spend €5 on the bus but the good thing is that we will gist and talk about stuffs, which I may not enjoy from a random barber.

I can enjoy pizza here for €1, all i got to do is go to the frozen section, buy it and microwave. While I can easily spend €14 for the same size of pizza delivered to my house, only that its fresher, and might be a bit hot.
Not a fan of pizza
Cake is cheap here.

Label food, lol
