Kenny242:
nice one bro
Thank you. This Covid virus has opened the Truth about the real situation about alot of fake people and countries, it has exposed American as a failed nation, Kylie Kardashian as a fake Billionaire, Trump as a Racist who doesn't know how to lead, hes more a dictator. I used to think Trump knew what he was doing, until now, Obama would have handled it way way better. He hasn't even called the family of Floyd as I type, he was asked the question by a reporter. He said no. And finally, it has exposed Nigerian government, they are existing but they are not really there. They only play the game to stay in power and focus on trivial. In the lockdown, government couldn't even provide 10k monthly. Even if they did, the money will vanish and we will be busy settling the matter with the CBN. I'm here receiving €350 weekly from a foreign government . Naturally where should my patriotism go to. Lol

For once I was very happy about the government when they banned Canadian airline and others, I was shocked. I guess it was because it wasnt in favor of the Nigerian airline.

Your 'longest epistle' resonates with me bro. Our priorities, especially here in Nigeria, are seriously misplaced.
Very true, There are some things that are very important to human beings, we have lost sight of them and rather put the cart before the Horse.

Kudos to the writer.
It's a very interesting read.
To add to what the writer said, you dont deserve people respect, you earn it. How have we gained respect from the way we treat our own.

Think about it,
People around you are hungry and have No Shelter.
Do you still judge people for their lifestyle and the way they live, even though its non of your business?

People around you are hungry and have No Shelter.
Look at the Prostitute in the street, some you have them as neighbors, tenants, church members.....
I had one as a neighbor in my service year, I treated her like a sister. I never judged her, even though she liked me more than I did, I still gave her respect and turned her down in the way that we're still friends.
You dont know their side stories. Some of them have looked left, right and backward, if they dont do it, theyll starve to death. Some were abused as kids by their father, brother, uncles..... some have looked for hustles and the men denied them that, Hoping to sleep with them when they're frustrated. Where theres no demands there cant be a supply.
The Irish law protects prostitutes, if you and an excort is caught, the Irish government will cover her with a blanket and let her walk away, and theyll drag your ass to jail.

People around you are hungry and have No Shelter.
The most important thing is to feed people. FOOD.
Group of boys out of joblessness decided to abandon cultism and rather hustle online and swindle people, scamming isnt good cos I dont feel good when I was scammed. I have lots of such examples around, these young boys comes from poor homes, from what they make, they pay the rent of the house where their family live, subscribe for date, if they can do these, food is nothing.
I know examples of young boys like this who take care of their widowed mothers and help to train the young ones.
Yet we sit and judge them
Yet instead of the government to curb the problem by providing jobs, rather they go after these boys. Those white folks they swindled, they are very perverted. I belong to some dating sites, you need to see the demand of these folks and link, I've heard at least three offer me money for sex, cos of the stereotype on Blacks package. Lots of them go after very small boys, and they have very ridiculous kinks. Whenever youre being swindled, greed plays a big role.

People around you are hungry and have No Shelter.
One of the most important thing I discovered when I got here is self-discovery, inorder for you to be comfortable in your skin, you need to adjust to Your own needs, Socrates said MAN KNOW THYSELF.
Ordering everyone to dress in a certain way, keep their hair in a certain way is Pointless, Selfish, Crazy and highly hypocritical. What if that way is wrong, this is how you have doomed a Race.
I can still remember in my church then, after my service year, I was jobless. How you know a Jobless Youth is when they attend All the services, even the Youth and children service, they'll be there. Lol, I wasnt at that level sha, still had alot to do. 24hrs is very small even at that time, not that I was hanging around friends all the time, I had alot of things that kept me really engaged, Shows, books, games, walks with my dog, men chores, and others.
I was at church one time, this man who works in a big company, he knew I was done with school and all. He started poking me about my haircut, what if I was terribly broke to even eat that night. it took alot of self control and resilience to hold my lips tight. He was lucky my parents attend the church. He wont be able to eat well if he knew what was in my mind.
I don't have a job and you dont care, you care about panelbeating into shape when that is not even what I need. Is he that jobless?
One of the most successful group of people are the artist and musician, they're brimming with Individuality. If you live a regimented life and let the Nigerian society continue to shape you, you will never be successful. You need to express yourself and it will affect everything you do in life, your inner confidence will dramatically improve,
Four months before I travelled to Dublin, I visited Nike art gallery at Lekki, by some luck I met the couples. I arrived very early very early. Nike, very busy and nice made me feel welcome even though she knew I wasn't there to buy any of her Arts. Her husband saw and called me, we started to talk, what I thought was 30min, three hours had gone already. The African culture is vibrant and you need to express it wherever you are. She dressee in a queer way that makes her at over 60 feel young and alive and extremely confident. You should check her out online.
Lots of potential artists, models, creative writers are butchered this way just by suppressing their personal looks and fashion, no two human beings are the same. Kill their personality, you kill their Voice.

People around you are hungry and have No Shelter.
On churches, the goal isn't to judge them but we really dont need lots of churches. I've spotted lots of churches in places that is unimaginable. From shops that people would have used to make a living to flats. I even saw one inside those huge iron transformers.
Churches aren't what we need, we need businesses, I spotted one Victorian style building that's perfect as an office for my future plan. I will be enraged and agitated if that building has been converted to a church. Although right next to it, is a church of fire.
The church judge the youth, some denominations have mastered the art of judging, they only smile to church members, every other folks are sinners.
If you are broke and need their help, theyll say thst sin made you poor. Especially if you are on jewelries.

People around you are hungry and have No Shelter.
You see some folks who keep hairstyles you dont like, what is your business?
How is the hair going to limit their potential.
Will your quality of life improve when they need and make the adjustments?

People around you are hungry and have No Shelter.
The same goes for the same sex folks, as long as you are discreet and not corrupting the future generations. We need heterosexual couples to ensure the survival of the Human race. Keep the bedroom things private, we dont want to know what you're doing there. I have a problem with giving people the ideas on Social media about what you do in the other room by your mannerism and lifestyle. Let us focus on the most important things.

When Obama sign same sex marriage, Nigeria rushed to ban it, just put yourself in the shoe of someone who is hoping for a better tomorrow where I dont go to bed hungry. The same sex law in Nigeria and the one on corruption that targets Yahoo boys are the most enforced laws in Nigeria.
Give a call to the police that yahoo boys are having an Orgy with all manner of laptops of different shapes and sizes, or gays are hosting parties. Theyll zap there with guns and camera.
Try to call them if you and your family is about to die of hunger, and see their response.
You need to see Rwanda

We need to put first things first
According to Maslow hierarchy of need, the first is Food, then shelter then the other needs which are more emotional and long term comes along.
Most of you reading this, you have eaten today at least, you have a smartphone with daya,
we have about 30% of Nigerians that will go to bed hungry this night and my heart groans silently.

I am Hungry, cold, with no clean water to drink, I sleep under the bridge, how does your action and policy alleviate my condition.

Today was marked the General Leg day.

The weather was 21 degrees. I walked around today cos I had some places to visit in the heart of the city.
What I saw today made a journey of 10min, almost 30min, It felt like these girls knew I was coming.
I fell for it tho.
The looked as golden as my chicken drumstick after I take it out of the oven. I couldn't help but stare. I decided to move my body by walking more, you know its good for our health.
Some of you will be riding in cars up and down. It's not good o.
These oyinbo eh, some of them are not happy when they're too white. Maybe they feel like ghosts. They use cream and others to colour their skin hoping to achieve a tan. Or they go to UV machine treatment. Spending alot of money, when they can go to Nigeria and hawk for three days and their skin will be golden, it will look as if they were freshly baked.
That reminds me of the man Trump. This man hides multitudes of sin with his humor. This is how it works. I make a blunder, throw a joke, everyone, including Trump best friend- The Media, have a good laugh about it and it passes. The media goes home and replay the video and pause before Trump throws in the joke and screams, Oh Shit!!!!!
Trump tans his skin, I'm sure you all know that, from the circle around his eyes, that patch of skin around his eyes is pale- white....his true skin color. Is he not happy being white? Still he can be Racist to Blacks.
I walked and fed my eyes to the beauties of Ireland. I kinda felt like the only muscles in my body that lifted alot of weights is my eyes.
Good thing I'm not driving, if you hear I had an accident in the summer, you all know why.

Fin tech, cloud computing, cybersecurity, software development, and others, these are very smoking hot courses. Other countries will see the smoke afar and get attracted.

See all the energy he was expending restraining that man, Irishman dont have that time to waste. They wont even touch you sef, talk of the additional social distancing that covid brought.

Good day all. Look beyond my typing errors please. I'm really confused at the moment so I decided to share this here, so as to gather more suggestions. huh huh (Please read carefully)

I'm a 20 year old guy. I stay with my mom and little sister. I lost my dad at the age of 10. I registered for JAMB this year, but I couldn't write it because I was 1 hour late to the exam center. I live in Owerri and my center was mbeiri. I couldn't check my center before the exam day because I had no money on me. So that made me to miss the exam. I never told my mum the truth because she's hypertensive, rather I told her I didn't reach the cut off mark.

As a science student, I want to study Computer Science in the University. ( I WANT TO MAJOR IN CYBER SECURITY)
Truth be told, I want to read the course because that's what my spirit said I should do. (I have no primary experience about Coding or Programming) sad sad I don't even have a laptop but I'll soon get one by his grace. I've been getting discouraged by what I do read here about studying the course in Nigeria. I don't know how true it is.

There is this FUTO certification program that is being advertised on the school website (futo.edu.ng). I don't know if it's real or fake. Please I suggest you guys should check it out before I enroll for the program. After making enquires from some contacts I found on the website, I decided to register for FUTO Cisco Certification Program. It cost about 33k or so. I don't have the funds now, but I'm confident I'll pay for it before July.

Another thing is this, I can't stand to watch my mum go to the market everyday (6:00AM - 6:00PM) just to make sure we put something in the mouth. She sells charcoal in the market at daytime, while she sells banana in front of our house during night hours and after that she will comeback to complain that the money is too small to feed us. huh( She has suffered a lot)

So I decided to follow our neighbor that's a builder or into building construction (The man knows almost everything about building/labouring work. (Iron bender, Carpenter, Bricklayer, Job work and so many others) To see if I can learn one or two things so I might at least be of help to the family. He asked if I wanted to learn it for the money(only labouring) or for passion(all aspects of building) My mum choose the later. Now am planning on how to reserve it and tell him the former(only labouring) because I don't see the reason why I won't be paid after working. For instance: 1 bag = 700/800. If am to work 1 bag (I can do 2 or 3 bags for now) for 7 days, 700/800 × 7 = 4900/5600. Then multiply it in a month. (21,000/24,000) I think that would really help in the family.

The first day we went to site, I learnt iron bending, how to measure, cut and bending of iron. Next, I also did my first job work(worwor) 2 bags of cement, chippings and sand. It wasn't funny bro, I almost fainted. huh All my fingers peeled like cassava. It was a fence work, the pillars and cap. Infact, I regretted it that very moment but later picked courage after much pressure from my mum. I've worked for 4 days now(Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Monday) and am yet to receive any penny

Since last week, I've been following the man to site(8:00AM - 4:00PM) I told my mum I want to be taking tramadol so I can be able to work faster but she discourages me because of the side effects and maybe addiction. I've promised to buy it from any nearby chemist shop no matter what, (if am to start labouring job full-time) because I don't want to be receiving peanuts while my mates are doing far better. sad sad

To say I've been a lot, is an understatement (believe me). I did Lotto work last year, August - October. Could you believe I did not eat one naira from my salary? Infact my last salary (10% of my total sales of the month) before I quit was #75,000. I did not receive #1 from the white (Lebanese) people, they said I am to balance them. sad (I don't play credit neither do I play games for my self) maybe it's from the people that do come to collect change. I just left in peace. God knows best.

I need your suggestions now on these issues below:

1. Should I tell him that I want to focus only on the labouring job (not all building aspects) so I can save up and register for the certification program? (Can I still register for other certifications majoring cybersecurity without any knowledge of codes or programming? (I'm considering this)

2. Should I forget about the program stuff and stick to the labouring job full time so as to make more cash? huh

If at all I should forget about the certification program (God forbid) huh huhand focus on the labouring job, will I later regret it in life?

If I should forget about the labouring job and enroll for the program, how are we going to survive in this harsh weather?. lipsrsealed lipsrsealed

Thanks for reading.
Your story is really heartbreaking.
I wish it's possible to run the two together. If one was weekend and the other weekdays. Things like this will open you up to new opportunities, connection apart from what you learn.
I will advise that you work and save up as much as you can, money that will take you till the end of the program and start.
This is life here, we dont want any regret in future. Let it be that you tried every means to break out to greener pastures.
If after you finish the program, some paths should appear before you.
It might be any opportunity you might take that will land you a job or an enlightenment to start a business, who knows who and what you'll meet there.
The journey is not easy at all, bricklaying isnt beans, when we were digging my soakaway in the my dads house in the village, I saw girls and boys younger than me digging it, I felt uneasy and picked up the shovel. I know what I saw, my hands and feet peeled, I almost chopped off my foot with the Shovel.
You must keep moving forward, no matter how little your strides are.

Dont go there and be an introvert, make sure you're very open.

I really wish you the best of luck in your endeavors.
I've got to run back to my assignments.
Cheers.

Was taking a walk today and I remembered I have not shown you guys this funny part of the developed world.
People rent basements here.
In the last picture, they even use it as an office sef. Its very interesting to watch.
I wil be on the road one day to locate an office only for the map to tell me its here. And I'll walk around like a dog chasing it's own tail. Only to find out its below Ground the ground level.
I remembered when I still had my sight on Canada, when I checked their rent websites, i noticed that such kinds of houses are cheaper to rent because in the whole building, you'll be the first to freeze to death before others and Also your space become a Hotel whenever the denizens of the underground come to the atmosphere for their seasonal holidays. They will come up, chill and dine with you. You know them, Grumpy Mr earthworm, Glamorous Mrs Silverfish,
Gallivanting boy centipede and the Gothic lady Millipedes.
I hear government provided regulations for a livable underground hotel. First of which there must be a window, at least, when you're not a prisoner sentenced to a dark room of horror. When you think of it, a window makes the place feels great when you're inside. This is why we need government regulations that's executed.

Let's not forget that these houses were built over a hundred years
ago. 80% of the houses here are that old. Infact Dublin has the world oldest hospital that's still operational
even today today.
Humans will always be humans, why do you think we have all the heavy duty cameras, devices in the guards car that scans your plate number and provides information, documentations, camera and wifi in the bhs and Luas and others.
All of this is to ensure that brain works properly whenever youre here. When you know that once you break the law, MenInBlack will Jaywalk to door, then you put your hand in your pocket and shake him, he will smash his boot and salute you. If you try to try to bribe the cops, they might forget your many sins and bring you in for bribery and corruption. They might call it attempt to bribe an officer of the law.

Just imagine Nigeria wants to invest in such houses, imagine the sizes of windows theyll be putting , from some the size of 32 inch tv to size of a book, some might only punch a hole............Just to pass wire.
There will be an extensive legislative law by the legislative arm in Nigeria, in fact, when you finish reading the law on the sizes of windows, if you're guilty, you might pee on yourself. Some of our actions of today will be ready for harvest when we're older and in generations to come.

Verbal abuse is actually a crime in Germany.

Smartest context I've read today. I like the part you outlined how you dreaded your hair compared to relaxing and combing it.

Our black hair is kinky in nature and tends to curl and tangle more. It's weird when I see my fellow blacks struggling with combing their hair. I don't even use a comb anymore. I go on rough curls, I nor send.

The reason why I'm a bit skeptical about Ireland, is because of the white race dominance over there. Any country that has way too may whites and few blacks, there would always be slight racist remarks, you just can't help it.

Even the so-called nice Canadians are racist too. It's very normal. They'd diss you for having a heavy African accent.

Just don't use abusive or sexual provocative words, and I think you'd be find. But still nor dull.
Thank you very much

I know a lot of criticism I'll get if I go back to my church in Nigeria, its really a terrible situation. Christian religion hasnt helped the black race much. Fine, I can say that it took away the ills of the practices of our traditional culture. But we need to form our religion and abide by it. I really love the black panther movie, we saw a beautiful mix of tradition and technology.

About the hair, while I was waiting for my visa and was at home without combing, my hair locked for about three months. As I wasnt looking for jobs again and attending those nerve racking interviews, I stopped combing.

Interviews in Nigeria is like going for exam. I dont like the feeling I get at all. When you're on your way, you'll surely spot one fella in the bus that's heading there and by the time youre there, you'll see crowds. From the ones pressing phones to the one reading as if they missed some topics in exam, to the ones who came with their friends and they wont keep quiet.
All the interviews I went in Nigeria, I passed all and wasnt employed, except for one, that was weekemd teaching.

Never got any rude remarks from the Irish, my experience at the warehouse wasnt very nice but it wasnt negative, when I broke a serious rule in the warehouse, a white male, not sure of the country just ordered me to go out and correct myself. The warehouse conditions was by far better than what I saw when I worked for two months in the warehouse of a popular Online store in Nigeria. I wont say the name. Just because I came 5 min late, I wasnt paid for the week, look at that sort of abuse.
If I did the same mistake in the care industry, theyll correct in a more softer way.

I've had three interviews in this country, when I got to the venue, I was the only one that was to be interviewed, I passed them all, I was refused for one because of the distance, I rejected the rest because I wasnt satisfied.
If I didnt have an interview experience in Nigeria, I would have been neutral. I really pity folks in Nigeria who have to put up with that.
Big brother naija, the crowd was something else. Lol
I must say I feel happy about attending interviews here because I know I'm not seeing multitudes of people and I know that the odds are not against me.

Wow. Man, shit is real though. Lol.

I'd be very careful about the words I use lately oh. This is really astonishing honestly. Chai.
Good good,
We are trying to adjust.
It's not easy at all.
It's very good you brought this up.

Make person no enter prison for an harmless word. E shock me die mehn.
I was shocked when I was taught in the Health training that when someone is falling, we should clear space and let them fall properly.
I was like Nooooooo, I'm a human being, I cant let that happen.
They said the person that is falling is safe. Because the body prepares it by relaxing the muscles. Its different when chewing gum falls on the ground and when a bottle falls. When you try to help the fainting person, you might lose your balance, contract your muscles, and fall hard. In the end, the good samaritan Carries last.

Them too, they're adjusting to us. They dont sing Black black black sheep song here in primary school
Its offensive to my colour. How can the colour of my skin that I didnt choose be synonymous with evil and rebellion. And light with goodness.

If I see those graphics in my children church today, I'll shred them to pieces, some of them were offensive, I remembered that one of the caricatures of the Devil, had a similar colour to mine. I was wondering cheesy sha. Then jesus had long hair, pointed nose and tiny lips. My lips are full, I know how whites have complimented me on it. Plus white ladies do alot to achieve it, with injection and all.

If I woke up with a yellow skin, I'll be horrified, I'm proud of my skin and my hair. I used to relax my hair just to comb it, after combing, lots of my hair will fall out. I just concluded that combs wasnt meant for the African hair. I love my locs just the way it is. I've spotted whites with locs and I was surprised, their hair didnt lock properly cos it's not meant for them fully. I've spotted irish with extreme tan to achieve the black skin, and they look dramatic with pointed nose, straight hair and a not-so-natural darker skin.

Just as they adjusted to us, we also have to adjust to them. Ireland open its borders just 30yrs ago, they are not there yet, compared to other countries, but they are doing well. The court won't be nice to any Racist Irish. I'm at liberty to call the Guards on anyone, Employees, Employers, boss that makes a Racist comment. No one want to have it in their records that they were racist.

I'm trying to be like a Chicken, raise one leg and observe before making a move.
