Please OP how authentic is this
My brother, its probable.
Whether the situation improves or not, it must open by September.
A nation cant stay like this for a long time.

Most universities are planning towards this

I've heard of scholarship programs, ever heard of persons who tried them out?
Nope
Ireland doesnt have proper scholarships, though fees are comparatively cheaper, only the university itself gives

My ulterior motive was to just hear from you, I'm sorry you got hurt in the process, I meant no disrespect. You're one of the people I respect most on Nairaland including Chiggsglover, the joy and motivation I get from reading you guy's comments here is something else.
I'm sorry, I really am.
This scenario between the two of you is very Satisfying. Keep it up. It shows I have lots of mature people in this thread.

Papa left his house to feed the Mute swans.

These folks are kind to animals, tho there are some nasty animals that will change the narrative, but they have never existed here in the first place.

In Africa, West, Nigeria, East, Imo,....any animal we see apart from the ones we own. Within a millisecond, adrenaline will kick in. People around look for anything that is strong enough to shatter a man's skull. The Hunger games begin, they chase, hunt, dodge, swing, smash and either smile or feel disappointed and retrace the Hunt.

Then in the village, was quite young, went for a burial, I do ask, Why will you kill the poor thing,
They said it might bite me. As I got older, visited the village, I asked again, after they wore themselves with the Hunt, knowing this one can neither bite or sting, they said it was for fun.
This is how lots of children, wives, husbands, relatives in the Animal kingdom hit the dust.

Though there are some animals that pose huge risk even if they're doing their thing like snakes, scorpions, centipedes, some spiders. A South Africa man made it his jobs to relocate snakes in the city to the wild- Nat geo wild.
It is of the opinion that we are in their territory, because we're stronger, we easily win.

Theres compassion for animals here, I remember last year or so, a Nigerian man was close to his house and saw a little crowd looking towards his roof. He thought his house was burning and ran. Only to see that a mother raccoon was throwing her babies out of the roof. I'm not sure the babies survived the impact.
They had to call the police to come and.....
Come n see whites looking so sad as if they are watching their loved ones dying. Such compassion!

Since I've been here, I have never seen a Rat, cockroach and lizard, the absence of such animal terrorizing our food in the kitchen and lurking in the bush, is enough to bring out the best in people.

I asked a white man first month I was here if he has ever seen a Rat, he didn't know what it was till I showed him a picture, it was then he said Yes, and I asked him where, he said in the Pet shop.

We kill for sports apart from the need for food, this isnt great because once we kill off a line of species, what will our children and seeds life be?

The mute swan knows its food, these birds will swim towards you when you approach the river quay with something in your hands.

@ the bolded cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy normal house for here has 3 doors, garage, main door and the one for back lol. People die a lot from the cold, the government do help set up shelter for the homeless people during winter. There are cases of dead people in the street during winter in my county but we have zero cases this winter season. Come greet us for Minnesota during winter na make you eat snow small cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy
This explains Alot.
The infrastructure has to be built to suit the environment. This is very serious, Death by Cold is going to be significantly lesser.
As the death is now zero last winter, another nightmare has started to balance it. cry

I live in Minnesota which shares boundary with Canada so we basically have same weather including Mr snow lol. Snow is called the devil word here.
I remember when i first came into the US, i was excited about my first winter , people were telling me that when i experience it, na me go deh beg am to leave.

It gets so cold that if you leave your hands open for 5-10 seconds, your hands will freeze, i am not kidding, it is that bad. Imagine snow of 5 inches coupled with extreme cold and then crazy wind cry embarassed embarassed embarassed na you go deh beg God for spring or summer lol.

I could vividly remember in Wisconsin when we went riding on snow mobile, along the way, i skid of the rails and my gloves went off lmao, both of my hands went DEAD, i could not feel anything, i had to go back inside to drink whiskey to warm up and stay warm inside.

Naija harmattan is a child play's compared to the winter here, you go wear singlet, wear shirt, wear long neck come wear winter jacket on and you will still be cold lol cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy here are some pictures.

P.S if you ever come to the midwest, the word "snow" is forbidden before winter.
Jeez.
shocked
That's serious o.
Not everyone wear gloves here during the winter.
Folks just prefer to put their hands in their pockets.
But me, I like the freedom of swinging my arms because it keeps me warm and using gloves can be cool. I got some fashionable ones from aliexpress. Leather gloves, some with fur, for good price.
The worst the weather ever goes below is -3degrees, it hasn't gone below that since I've been here.
Some of these gloves are light and they have a conductive material that allows your bodily electricity to pass through.
If you dont know, your body has electricity, we are a working engine. During exams, your brain has the ability to light a bulb in that moment.
The reason why the gloves are made that way is so you can use your smartphones. The touchscreen of the modern smartphone is not sensitive to pressure but the electrical current from your body.

Now that I think about it, those talk with girls, saying stuff about tapping current from....., it's as True as Light.

Thank you very much bro.I just keep loving Ireland more.I like to know more about the best part time job to get.is it possible to get it in my field.and is there snow in Ireland cos I love snow die. And please can you give us more downtown picture if possible.and also when I rent apartment is there TV and other house appliances inside or we buy them ourself
To answer this.

Long and short is, this isnt a regular snow country. Snow is irregular.
Based on television, I used to love snow and all they create with it but when I came here, and the cold hit me, and my body did........
I became grateful I wasn't in Canada, Russia, or cold part of USA.
It rains snow occasionally with light storm, but it doesnt fall long enough to form a thick carpet since I've been here.
In 2017 I think, Dublin experienced the same kind of snow that canada experiences, there was lots of documentary in video form about it.
We're in Spring now, and I still shiver when the wind hit me one kind, I was reasoning how I'll be if i was in a snowing country without a car.
I'm someone that enjoys going out for a walk, not sure I'll be able to enjoy that.
Even when it eventually snowed sef, my fingers in my gloves was too rigid to let me touch it. In fact, the cold did not let me think of touching it. It reminded me those white stuff like powder in your freezer, you know the shock you feel when you touch it. Lol.

For the downtown pictures, the lockdown hasn't allowed me to take. I'm still accumulating the ones I have.
When it's time, I'll drop some warnings, after I have decided on the thread number so if you dont have enough MB, you can avoid it.

The sweet thing about this place is that, whenever you decide to move in, the room or apartment comes furnished with bed, wardrobes, drawers, bedspread, and pillowcases. The kitchens has the fullest furnishings with pots, refrigerator cupboards, cooker and oven, toasters, washing machine, dryers, cutleries, dishwashers, plates, blenders,, kettles. you don't have to buy any item again. Theres also vacuum cleaner, Iron, wifi connection.... they're too much to mention, my head and fingers aches.

Houses should have these, if they dont, the rule is to tell the landlord. If he doesnt have, he either buys it or
they ask you to buy it, keep the receipt and deduct from your next rent.
In all life here is pretty easy, if I'm moving, all I have to do is to pack up everything I own, which is usually, clothes, shoes, bed spread, duvet and other personal items, order a taxi from the App and zoom.

We should be the one thanking you bro for the good work you're doing here. Please don't relent bro

If only all nairalanders abroad can be like you, it would have been better. Most people don't have the right information and that is why they look for travel agents. And you know most of these travel agents are scammers in disguise so they become a victim in the process of leaving Nigeria. If nairalanders abroad are helpful like you, such thing wouldn't have happened.

May God bless you in million folds
That's so true. The Irish thread also helped me alot. I had some questions they tried their best to answer them. Though alot of them were not active in Nairaland due to shock on how little time they had to do anything. Comparing it with Canada thread that have people like @Salford and others, we still have a long way.

It was there I knew that IRELAND HAS PAID AGENTS that offers FREE service for visa and admission consultation. I got to know about them after I paid my Agent who provided me with excellent service.

Special thanks to @ICASNG.
