faithzy:Thanks man, I wont lie, it's not only you oooo, alot of people i know have been pushed to September and I hope it stays that way. |
Dollywood:I sincerely understand. I don't blame Nairaland too. Only if i knew the way to post clearer |
Brightfab: ![]() |
Brightfab:Lol, I also wonder why people dont like to be open about their age and earning. These two variables are never constant, They must change. A person can never earn the same thing from age 30-60. It's not easy to earn people respect. |
Sparrow0:Yeah that's true. Every shot taken with my Samsung is like a video without sound. While it makes the picture very large in size, from the same picture, I can get about three different captures. Normally before I upload every picture you see here, I have to screenshot them. The screenshot is also clear, but when they land here, I get depressed. |
faithzy:€12.45 actually. I dont know how they deduct their taxes, they might even take €20 sometimes. They reasoned that taking tax from me when I worked a day, €99, was pointless. You can see how they reduce inequality. |
Dollywood:Hahaha Sorry man, I should have written a warning like Heavyweight Picture Champion. I know how I economize data in Nigeria, staying here don dey make me.... At least you can confirm that the ones on my phone is very clear. |
Hadampson:Lol Thank you very much. To hear that from you means alot ![]() |
faithzy:Theres a threshold before you get taxed. When I work one day a week, zero tax was deducted. When I worked two days, €30 was deducted. The tax is quite high but divide the income into 10parts, thats the income of doing the same job, more stress in Nigeria. The tax is used to take care of the elderly, poor, disabled and others via income support. You can read the news, the countries that are more vibrant than Ireland are in worse shape. |

Brightfab:Replacement ni. Na so den scatter all over o. The thing is that we have the ones people dont want, you wont see them with locks. That's how you know them. |
faithzy:BTA of 2000 is quite enough. Immediately you have your gnib, you can work, gnib appointment should be booked one month in advance Well, I had to call home for gnib, it was just too heavy. |
This was in January, I went to get the student leap card. This is a card that allows you to pay your bus fare by simply taping the card reader in the bus. Its quick and efficient. The leap card has different fares for the Dublin bus and the luas. The cap forthe Dublin bus for a day with the student leap card is €5, while for luas, its €7. When I tap once on my way to school, the highest the bus takes is €2.50. When I'm coming back home, I get into the bus and tap again. Another 2.50 will be deducted. If I use the bus let's say I go to watch a movie, and I tap, they deduct €0, because I have used the cap for the day. The cap for the week is €20 (monday to Thursday). Anywhere I go to if I travel from friday to Sunday, Its free. I'll post a shot of what the leap card looks like . You can choose to pay by cash, but if you dont have the exact fare for your trip, the bus driver will nod his head and ask you to leave. If you want to top up your leap card, you'll have to go to Spar. Or if your phone have NFC, like mine which is a Samsung, you can pay it directly from your bank. Most iPhones sadly dont have this. There was a time I was late to school, and got to the stop, only for the map to tell me 10minutes. I waited and waited. I spotted the bus in 11min. Something told me to check how much I have on my leap card. Immediately my phone spotted the card, I saw, €1, I had to quickly top up ASAP. It entered my card just in time, and I walked in.

faithzy:Depend on how quick you apply when you're in Nigeria 1M |
Drenimarcus:Lol I trust you Thanks man |
Drenimarcus:This your scope good oooo This duck's color is just cute. Haaaa, USA, hope no follow to protest lockdown, the numbers of cases and deaths are Huge. Be safe o |
Drenimarcus:Thank you very much How in the world did you get this close to take this shot. That's the duck. The color is unique. They might be the same one that comes here also as these birds migrate alot. If I may ask, what country are you in? |
Dum4christ:That's so true The farther you live away from the city centre, the cheaper it become for real. I've seen great deals, but theyll now put FEMALES ONLY. |
The denizens of the air here are big, Big, BIG. No matter their size, they can fly. They are also very intelligent, they know your faces. Especially the birds called the Crow, raven and the rest, I've forgotten their names, they're very smart. You cant mess with them and go away Scot free. If they government isnt aware to deal with you, the birds will arrange with the other to attack you. Biologist call it Dive bomb, this is where birds will fly really fast and hit you hard with their body. It will feel like a stone in the air connected with you, and with their size and number, it can get bloody. When you agitate these birds and they attack you, if you manage to escape and they see you another time, theyll come at you. So it's to your benefit to leave them alone. Like I said, birds here can fly, even ducks too. First time I saw one fly I was surprised. This Mute swan here is bigger than some dogs, you need to see this fly, it looks like a plan
|
This came to greet me this morning, very beautiful bird, it even hops really fast instead of always flying. They're surprisingly quick.

Dum4christ:Ladies are one that get it cheaper especially when it comes to single rooms |
Dum4christ:Yes, with my friend |
Night view. I wish above all thing that it should be as clear as the one In my Gallery

Churches Those ones you'll see in naija, a small church will be holding service in a shop and mount two huge speakers outside, the neighborhood must hear the word, that nonsense can never happen here. Churches here are quite specific, with each area having their own church with nice structure with century old history. Same with mosques, that will try as much as possible to wake everyone from sleep for the morning prayers, not caring that the Christian folks who blasted that same vicinity from 6pm to 9pm needs his sleep. Even some muslims here get the idea about this country, he told me that the house they built in Lagos, two religious institutions is anchoring the house, one on the left, the other on the right. Let me not mention it, they dont get enough sleep at night. I'm also a Christian and I dont like it when my church disturbs people. I started to pity them when churches started using one parking lot near my house for Crusade. The environment was on fire. That was an eye opener, my church holds three services weekly plus one night vigil. I knew the muslims own when I was serving. Boys in the north will carry all sorts of broken plates, basins, and noisy things, they cant buy new plastic plates to break na. Theyll use stick to beat them to wake people up to eat during their fasting period. First time I heard the noise, I jumped from the bed with tremendous shock, cos my window was kinda facing a little disused route. I thought I was under siege. Keep the noise low, if you want to worship, do it in a soundproof place. It's as annoying as those who use speaker to play songs you may not like. The vehicle in the last pics is how the general vehicle they use to carry the body to its final testing place. That's a customized Benz. Even in your death, your carcass will travel in style. The churches here are old and Gothic, they can look scary at night as if Count Dracula is lurking there and staring at you with Bloodlust. They mounted light in strategic places which is marvelous to look at. I'll post the night view of this particular church soon.

Brightfab:I know someone that's living a little closer to the city centre paying €500 for a bunk bed in a very terrible house. What I paid 390 for. You just have to look for good deals. |
Sparrow0:Yeah, Abi oooo, |
morinto:I'll give you some helpful tips cos it's really needed |
morinto:Its expensive Single room is like €550 depending on the gap from the city centre Double room is the cheapest, from €300 I pay 380 for a beautiful house with central heating, excluding Bills, its about 20min bus to the city centre. |
Sparrow0:I cropped it actually And they now look the same |
